Armipotent

Chapter 2288: The Dragon Monarch

Tang Shaoyang could feel that the auras from the three newly arrived individuals were equal to Nirdarth and Zonaras, or they might be stronger than the two.

What was more impressive was the figure in the white-and-gold-clad. The figure stopped the Azure Dragon Descent without losing his hand. With the new combination with his dantian, the skill had become one of the most powerful skills in his arsenal. Yet it only burned the figure’s arm, which quickly healed, returning to its original state, a pale, flawless skin.

”Isn’t this getting interesting? Why don’t we try that, Zara?” Tang Shaoyang grinned in excitement as more and more powerful figures came. This might be the time to test out his Demonic Calamity and see how they fared against the Dragon Realm’s local force.

He didn’t hesitate to summon Zara, Avyn, Vandir, and Karan. The four strongest spirits in his arsenal.

Vandir and Karan were summoned on the ground, right in the middle of the Stygian Wither Clan’s warriors. Avyn and Zara were floating next to him.

”We will protect Zara until she makes the connection!”

”Stop! It’s enough!”

The similar voice that earlier shouted ”ENOUGH” spoke again. It was the white dragon who spoke earlier as it transformed into a humanoid form. The white dragon became a male figure, wearing white clothes and with white hair.

”We don’t want to fight you. We just want to talk!”

The blue dragon also transformed into human form. She was a female with blue hair and had the eyes of blue sapphire, wearing a blue dress. Her expression was gentle, yet her eyes were emotionless.

Frustrated with the current situation, the man in white clicked his tongue. He showed his displeasure toward Nirdarth and Zonaras, but said nothing to them. He floated next to the figure in white-and-gold-clad.

”It’s never our intention to fight you, Tang Shaoyang. We just want to talk...” The man stopped halfway and snapped toward the fallen angel.

”Can you stop her from whatever she’s about to do first? As I said, we want to talk, not fight, and I prefer to talk first before violence.”

Zara stopped, glancing toward Tang Shaoyang. She didn’t mind stopping because she had found the coordinate. It was surprisingly easier than she thought.

She just needed to establish the connection and open the gate now. It would not take a long time to make the connection. She was even more surprised that the man in white could tell what she was trying to do.

The man breathed out in relief, ”I am glad you are reasonable enough to listen. Let’s start with an introduction, shall we? My name is Ammor, the Dragon Guardian of the Dragon Realm. Or I am known as the Sky Dragon; that’s what you people in the God Realm called me.”

”As for who I actually am... I am a dragon from Ouranos’Axo clan, one of the primal dragon clans in the God Realm. The woman next to you might recognize the name.”

Tang Shaoyang had a guess that the man in white might be Ammor. He was spot on, but he was surprised by Ammor’s attitude. He thought Ammor would be more arrogant and wild than Zonaras and Nirdarth.

That was Ammor’s image in his head. Yet Ammor was surprisingly more civil and reasonable.

”And yes, we want to talk with you and also her...” Ammor’s gaze was on Avyn, and it seemed they recognized Avyn.

Avyn indeed mentioned that she was from a ruling clan in the Dragon Realm called Kankara’Xeo. A clan that might be in a similar position to Ouranos’Axo if they still existed.

”Am I late to the party?” A sonorous and excited voice echoed in the air.

A figure in a crimson cloak and a figure in a teal cloak arrived. The two stopped next to Ammor. The figure in the teal cloak remained silent, while the man in the crimson cloak was looking around.

He glanced at Tang Shaoyang, then he looked at Avyn and Zara before his eyes landed on Vandir and Karan. He seemed to be looking for something.

”Enough, Radintar! We are not fighting him!”

The man in the crimson cloak was Radiant, also known as the Solarian Dragon. A disappointment was obvious on his face, but then he shrugged.

”How am I supposed to trust you after your two friends attacked me? This might be a trap.”

Radintar let out a hearty laugh as he found it funny. He lowered his laughter when Ammor glared at him.

”We are aware of your arrival. If we truly want to set up an ambush for you, we don’t need to wait until now. We could ambush you the moment you arrived in this village, but we didn’t. That should be enough to prove to you, no?”

”You didn’t set the ambush because you are underestimating me. You think those two are enough to handle me, but you don’t expect that I can hold them down, even cut their flesh.”

Ammor was clearly frustrated with how Tang Shaoyang didn’t trust him. What was even more frustrating was the fact that he could not say anything in return. It was reasonable for Tang Shaoyang to doubt him after a Dragon Guardian and Guardian Candidate attacked him. Those two had a status that could represent the Dragon Realm, after all.

”You are half-right, only half though,” Radintar was the one who responded, not Ammor, ”Ammor sent those two hot-headed brutes to test you, but not for an ambush. And yes, we are all underestimating you, thinking those two should be enough to handle you.”

”Ammor is also right that we don’t want to fight; we want to talk, especially our monarch. Why don’t you start talking before our guests leave, Orve.”

The figure in white-and-gold-clad lowered his cloak, revealing his face. His skin was pale-white, almost as pale as the vampire who never stood under the sun. He had long golden hair. His right eye was golden, and his left eye was dark red.

”Nice to meet you, Tang Shaoyang. My name is Orve, the monarch of this land. And yes, I would rather avoid fighting you. If you or she is not ready for the talk, we can set up another time to talk. We are creatures with long lifespans; there’s no need to rush it.”

Orve’s voice was gentle and weirdly soothing. It was like containing a magic that soothed whoever listened.

Tang Shaoyang found Orve’s voice creepy. He didn’t like it the way it intruded on his mind.

”But I would rather we talk right now. If you are worried about a trap or an ambush, we can talk here. If you truly don’t trust me, then you can have...” Orve paused as he looked toward Zara, frowning.

”I thought she was a Fallen Angel, but she was not. It’s truly unexpected to meet your race...” Orve muttered, shaking his head, ”You can have her open the portal you intended to open if you want. If you are in danger, you can escape from this place. I believe none of us could stop you if you decide to flee if the portal is open.”

Orve was the first one to recognize that Avyn was no longer a Fallen Angel. She had evolved one rank up from Fallen Angel and became Goddess of Death.

”Don’t you want to know how to find her? Don’t you want to free her?”
