Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 745: Chapter 744: Wounded Minds, Spiritual Attack from Queen

Unfortunately, there is no rule against disqualification in the exchange fight, as long as it is something the enemy might use, it can be used here, even if Queen uses her Plague Bomb here, it’s completely compliant.

Since the host and commentator were pulled into the arena, the commentary from Queen temporarily disappeared, but the audience had no complaints, as not many could understand his commentary anyway.

Ordinary battles with Aura Arrows are already sufficient, there’s no need for special arrowheads.

Seeing Setsuna take out a Seastone Arrowhead, Queen suspected she had been planning this for a long time.

Fortunately, after undergoing extensive modifications, Queen finally caught the curving arrowhead with her mechanical pincers.

Looking at the quiver of special arrowheads on Setsuna, his expression became even more twisted.

”Are you planning to go all out?”

”How could that be, I’m not even using Moon Lion; just getting some exercise.”

Setsuna grabbed three arrows from the quiver and, utilizing Electromagnetic Floating, shot them at Queen’s vital points, while Queen herself was not polite either. Rumors in the Hundred Beasts said she was becoming the weakest disaster, so she seized this opportunity to prove herself.

The mechanical sounds came from her body joints, and Queen entered a state of full firepower as well.

”Don’t say I bullied you later! I’m not made of paper!”

Laser Cannon, Flamethrower, Seed Bomb, Poison Powder, over the years, she had gone more and more insane with self-modification, gradually simplifying herself into an airborne turret.

”You’re definitely not made of paper, but you missed!”

Setsuna had turned into a shadow from her original position, now at Queen’s side, her bow also being used as a melee tool, which is why Speed treated the bow as a saber.

Every Archer among them is a melee fanatic, even if Setsuna activated the infinite ammo buff, close combat was unavoidable in battle.

Yet after this attack, she saw Queen’s head along with her neck fly away.

”This guy... shouldn’t be this fragile...”

It was only a third of her power; she wanted to see what was added to Queen’s body, but unexpectedly ”killed” him instantly. While Setsuna hesitated, a missile suddenly shot out of Queen’s body, and Queen’s unrestrained laughter echoed in the sky.

”Mwahaha! You didn’t expect this, did you? This is my new breakthrough, the Brachiosaurus Launcher!”

Queen’s abilities from Tropius were modified based on Brachiosaurus, and to control the massive body, Brachiosaurus had a special ability - ”Second Brain.”

The central nervous system of Brachiosaurus expanded and enlarged at the waist, forming a ganglion, which took over the control of the internal organs and limbs from the brain.

Queen utilized this ability for this singular modification.

Now, her neck and tail had formed a separate body, with a pair of Tropius wings on her back, flying in a peculiar yet slightly comical pose higher in the sky.

”You bastard...”

She initially just felt restless and went to pull Queen down to have a fight, only to be presented with such a big surprise.

”Fine, I understand; you’re indeed tough.”

Aura Power condensed the bowstring again, a seemingly ordinary Aura Arrow was notched onto the string, but as she let the arrow fly, it split into hundreds of arrowheads in the sky.

”Like modifying, huh? Scare me, huh? I’ll let you feel like a hedgehog!”

She anticipated the odd attacks Queen might use, but did not expect this mental attack; her psyche indeed felt slightly scarred.

Aura Power surged, and Setsuna entered Mega State, gaining a pair of blade-like projections composed of Aura on her hands, wrapped with Haki and electricity, she struck at the body Queen had left below.

Even though Queen had made numerous bizarre modifications to her body, she couldn’t abandon it. Under Setsuna’s fierce attack, she returned to her body again, engaging in combat like a ”normal person.”

In the adjacent nighttime arena, the Bat Man had just defeated the Armadillo Man who challenged him. Golbat’s echolocation gave him a significant advantage in the dark, and even if the Armadillo Man utilized Sandshrew’s burrowing ability to tunnel underground, Golbat’s ultrasound pinpointed his location.

The Sandshrew had high defense, but under Golbat’s poison fangs and blood-sucking capabilities, his stamina was eventually drained. The Bat Man now looked at the bow and arrow in his hand, compared to Queen and Setsuna’s clash, he felt like he was holding a toy.

Though he was an Archer as well, he could only practice precision shooting one arrow at a time, while the others seemed to be in god mode, unleashing suppressive firepower as a single individual.

...

As time passed, aside from Jack and Elizabeth, most others’ matches had concluded. 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

The strength of most adults had already stabilized, and positional changes weren’t substantial, and those who felt they had reached their limit didn’t continue pushing for higher positions.

The ongoing battles mostly involved newcomers challenging the single-digit ranks, and original single-digit Numberer redefining their strength.

In this exchange fight, several youngsters emerged, such as the just-turned-18-year-old Iscariot, and the sibling duo Ulti and Page One.

With their long learning period over, the three started aiming for smaller numbers, each harboring their own dreams; achieving them through this is the fastest promotion path.

Queen successfully defended his position, Setsuna didn’t use Moon Lion, and she also held back, making theirs seemingly fierce yet carefully measured duel.

Referring to the battle after Queen stopped her outrageous behavior.

By this time, Queen, after a brief rest, had already returned to the commentator’s position.

”Oh, quite the impressive little girl, she has achieved six consecutive wins and continues to challenge opponents! Let’s see how far she can go!”

With the combatants reduced, the Rotom screens surrounding the area displayed more focused images.

”No way, who is this girl? Is she really that strong at such a young age?”

”Young? There are two even younger ones there. She was also a child brought back by the High-Level Officials; her talent wasn’t particularly good initially, but after recently finding a Plate along with Lord Drake, she started catching up.”

People are born with talent differences that merely working hard can’t bridge. To surpass others, one must exert even more effort, but Arceus can grant people greater power, minimizing the gap.

”Hard work leads to success” instead became a classic Bible of the Arceus Sect.

Her battleground was classic, a sea deck, the most common pirate combat environment. Iscariot’s four wings buzzed rapidly behind her, periodically emitting steam.
