Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 736: Chapter 735: Nefertari and Alabasta

Outsiders don’t know about this matter, and even within the World Government, most don’t know which royal family disappeared.

But Doflamingo is different. As a former Heavenly Celestial Dragon, he possesses countless pieces of information unknown to outsiders, which is his capital.

He knows well the character of the World Government, so he uses Heavenly Gold to exchange for the status of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and uses that secrecy to secure his position.

Ever since he was denied reentry, he has harbored hatred for all the Heavenly Celestial Dragons. Under the right conditions, he wouldn’t mind giving a shove in overturning the table, but he wouldn’t step to the fore. He merely wished to be the puppeteer behind the scenes.

And if he remembers correctly, Crocodile seemed to be doing something big there as well. Although adding trouble won’t benefit him, it’s not bad.

He doesn’t believe that Sand Crocodile is really playing a national hero. Nowadays, the members of the Seven Warlords of the Sea all have keen minds, or at least they used to, and at worst, they have their advisors.

”If you’re interested, you can stay here for a while. I can send you to an island convenient for navigation, and I have means to obtain Alabasta’s Eternal Pose. If not, just pretend I didn’t say anything.”

Doflamingo is someone who loves to invest, and although many investments are forced, he really likes these costless investments.

”Then I’ll take the liberty.”

”Fufufufufu, just make use of it. But isn’t your companion going to say hello?”

He discovered an unwanted topic being noticed by someone. After dispersing his subordinates, his Observation Haki enveloped the nearby area, discovering the lifeform outside the ship’s cabin.

He hadn’t clarified until now. Now that cooperation, however uneasy, seems to have been reached, he also expressed his strength in this way.

”Drizzile.”

Robin called softly. She hasn’t interacted with the Seven Warlords of the Sea, but if these people didn’t have strength, they wouldn’t be deserving of that position.

In a corner, a shadowy figure appeared, a figure dressed like a cowboy wearing a cowboy hat materialized here.

During her travels, Drizzile evolved from the Drizzile phase into Inteleon.

However, after evolving, a small problem emerged. As fellow Inteleon, Drizzile and Elizabeth resembled each other too much, with almost no difference except for Elizabeth’s inability to change forms.

And since Elizabeth is Illusory Calamity’s partner, this is common knowledge in the New World. Because of its own style of combat, Elizabeth’s reputation is not particularly renowned, especially beyond the New World.

Only New World pirates know that instead of a lone Illusory Calamity, cooperating with Elizabeth, Illusory Calamity becomes a true killing machine.

So Drizzile dressed itself up; besides a cowboy-like style, it wore sunglasses. In this world with serious face blindness, most people couldn’t recognize its true form.

Moreover, Inteleon’s invisibility ability could extend to its close-fit clothes. After all, its mother’s prototype was the local Snake Monster Lizard, and the ability to influence clothes is a very common feature here.

”Such terrifying biotechnology....”

After carefully observing this creature, Doflamingo reached his conclusion; this world seriously suffers from face blindness, yet Doflamingo is different.

In this respect, he is still quite normal, and besides, as sunglasses are his true form, he has a higher ability to recognize faces with sunglasses.

The outside world’s knowledge of the Hundred Beasts is just strong biotechnology. When a similar creature appears, this inherent bias often takes significant effect.

...

”These are the things. Get them done as soon as possible.”

”Understood, but Doffy, do we really need to do so much for that woman?” 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

Pika’s shrill voice rang out. He didn’t understand why Doflamingo was doing this, preparing Eternal Poses, organizing local maps and intelligence. Though not costly, it is labor-intensive.

”Who she is doesn’t matter. This person has ties with the Hundred Beasts. Pika, except for me, can you guys entrust the family’s emblem to others?”

”No...”

”Exactly, she holds the flag of the Hundred Beasts and is quite special. Even if Kaidou himself is not behind her, someone of high rank within the Hundred Beasts is. This little investment doesn’t mean much; as long as she gains, we can gain even more.”

Wait and see, I have a hunch this deal won’t be a loss, fufufufufu.”

....

”Alabasta, a superpower in the first half of the Grand Line, with a standing army of over 600,000. ”

The royal family belongs to the Nefertari family. Currently, the king is the twelfth ruler, King Nefertari Cobra. Queen Nefertari Titi has passed away, leaving only Princess Nefertari Vivi... Drizzile, seems like quite a long journey.”

Browsing through the intelligence compiled by Doflamingo, Nico Robin assessed that this journey should yield a substantial amount, as records in Ohara mentioned that Alabasta was a country rich in historical heritage.

Compared to the lonely islands on the sea, large-land countries like Alabasta are easier to preserve history. It was always part of her plan, just expedited due to the information provided by Doflamingo.

It is currently the end of 1515. She had long since arrived in Alabasta through official shipping channels and was making her way to the capital, investigating the local situation along the way.

One shouldn’t completely trust outsiders. Although Doflamingo provided a wealth of information, she confirmed it again through the Hundred Beasts.

This was the third check, collecting the latest intelligence from the locals herself to prevent any unexpected situations.

Crocodile, though already present in Alabasta, has yet to enact any action. Baroque Works remains merely a gathering place for Pirate Hunters, and Alabasta remains tranquil.

Though a desert nation, it develops its national economy quite properly, relying on oases.

According to Doflamingo, those secrets should be traditions of the royal family, only known to them. Hence, her primary objective is infiltrating the palace, the most effective way to approach the royal family.

Seeing a local newspaper’s advertisement for a palace tutor, Robin made certain arrangements for the future, but first, she needed to deal with the immediate troublesome matters.

”Drizzile, you handle them as best as you can.”

”Chaa....”

”You see, there’s nothing I can do, after all, they’re looking for you.”

By this point, they were surrounded by a large group of Kung Fu Sea Cows. These Kung Fu Sea Cows even mimicked Inteleon’s attacking stance, fashioning their small, round hands into a gun shape.
