Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 735: Chapter 734: Doflamingo’s Insider Information

Encountering Nico Robin here was purely a coincidence for Doflamingo. As he said, he was just hunting some pirates to fool the Navy, and this was something not just he, but all the Seven Warlords of the Sea were doing.

This is also the purpose of the establishment of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Although their existence is intended to counterbalance the increasingly powerful Sea Emperors, expecting them to fight those monsters in the New World is mostly unrealistic.

Even the World Government seeks to maintain balance by restricting large-scale wars, and the so-called balance is merely a verbal balance. They are more about clearing up the sea areas at their doorstep and just fooling the Navy.

Moriah from the Devil’s Triangle, Crocodile from Alabasta, Jinbe from Fishman Island, Hancock from Amazon Lily, they all regularly clear out some pirates in their own way.

The most unique is Hawkeye, most of the time he does nothing, but might chase you to the ends of the earth due to some accident.

Compared to those Seven Warlords of the Sea, Doflamingo is the most unique one. His territory is in the New World, where there are many pirate affiliates, and it’s possible they might belong to some Sea Emperor’s subordinate forces.

So when he fools the Navy, he generally comes to the First Half of the Grand Line. After all, Dressrosa is not far from there, and it was here that he happened to meet Nico Robin on the island.

Recently, the Hundred Beasts have made a big splash, and after the Navy’s official intelligence, Morgans’ newspaper also disclosed the situation at G-1. His personality would not miss such a chance to grab the headlines.

As for where he got the photos and intelligence, too many people witnessed the incident. The World Government did not deliberately seal the information, so naturally, some of it spread. Through two newspapers and his own unique information channels, Doflamingo roughly figured out what had happened.

This made him realize that if he wants to mix in the Underworld of the New World in the future, he must have a friendly relationship with the Hundred Beasts. Nowadays, the New World seems to have seven kings of the Underworld, but those six people combined do not compare to the Hundred Beasts in any way.

They do not have the military force that gives the Navy headaches, nor the terrifying biological technology, allowing them to let the World Government lightly skip over it after such an incident occurs.

The first time he met Nico Robin and this time share a common point, which is that there are some things from ancient times. He can boldly speculate that the other party is exploring something related to history.

This is a risk-free gamble. If he wins, he gains a lot, and if he loses, he loses nothing.

”What?”

”Let’s talk somewhere else. This isn’t a place to talk.”

With a somewhat arrogant stride, Doflamingo took the lead in leaving here. Since Robin’s curiosity had been piqued, it wouldn’t be easily extinguished.

...

On the Donquixote family’s pirate ship, after the family members prepared the tea, they left under Doflamingo’s signal.

”So? Did you find what we want? For transactions, you should already have stable channels by now.”

”Fufufufufu, unfortunately, I want to find those things too, but it’s a bit difficult.”

He knew very well what the Hundred Beasts wanted most, nothing more than Plates and Zoan Devil’s Fruits. Zoan fruits are not too hard to find, but there’s no need to mention this to Robin. As for the Plates, they are hard to find.

The islands he can reach are much fewer than the Hundred Beasts, and even Pika’s search while integrated into islands yielded no results. He did not have the abilities of the Hundred Beasts to incorporate the world in a search.

”This matter may be only related to you, Miss Robin. You seem to have a great interest in history.”

”Hmm?”

”Don’t get me wrong, even if you wanted to overturn Mary Geoise, I would only applaud. It just so happens that I know a place with a rich historical heritage.”

Many pirate groups carry the banner of the Hundred Beasts, but openly being just an ordinary person and carrying the Hundred Beasts’ flag as a private individual is something he hasn’t seen a second of.

Accurately speaking, she’s not a normal person. Over the years, Doflamingo quickly integrated into the New World’s Underworld and gained understanding of some secrets.

Nico Robin, a woman with outstanding skills, with her around, most of a company’s or an organization’s affairs can be handled smoothly. She also possesses great negotiating talents, but there’s one issue: the organizations she joins usually don’t last six months, always encountering an accident.

Currently, there is no evidence showing she’s a problem, so there is always someone who doesn’t believe in superstition and attempts to harness this talent.

But for Doflamingo, all of this seems very reasonable. The person before him is one of the Hundred Beasts’, and no matter which force she joins, she could not be genuinely joining; at most, she is an undercover agent.

Although an undercover agent might work diligently to help the force achieve its goals, when the undercover moves, the impact can be severe.

Some have doubted she is a problem but are tempted by her abilities, thinking they can control this woman, allowing her to thrive.

In the Underworld, the term ’Black Widow’ already has a certain reputation. Some think she carries the ’jinxing the boss’ destiny, while others think she is hunting these people, giving the name different interpretations.

Doflamingo holds no opinion about this; he doesn’t want to offend the Hundred Beasts at all.

”Speaking of history, you can’t avoid the mysterious hundred years. This is something expressly forbidden by the World Government, but Miss Robin, you should know there is a group of people who lived through that era and still continue to the present.”

”Heavenly Celestial Dragons? What, you think Mary Geoise is very safe?”

The identity from Ohara is unknown to anyone; those who know about it all live on Ghost Island, so she doesn’t mind discussing history. Doflamingo’s hint was obvious; lasting from eight hundred years ago to the present, only the Heavenly Celestial Dragons.

But Heavenly Celestial Dragons live in Mary Geoise, and that place is inconvenient for her to operate.

”No no no, the descendants of the twenty kings who formed the World Government 800 years ago became the privileged class above the world. But only 19 families reside in the Holy Land Mary Geoise; one family did not move to Mary Geoise.”

Saying this, Doflamingo spread out a map, pointing his finger to a country in the First Half of the Grand Line.

”One of the 20 Kings, the Nefertari family, who refused to move to Mary Geoise and insisted on staying in their original kingdom. This country’s name is - Alabasta.”

”Why do you know such things?”

”Fufufufufu, Miss Robin, people always have to have some little secrets. But I can assure you that these are true.”
