The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

After Liu Yuqing finished texting Fu Yu, she remembered to contact Jiang Mo to discuss switching shifts for tomorrow.

Jiang Mo readily agreed.

After taking the leave, Liu Yuqing slipped on her slippers and went to find her sister.

Liu Yunong was carefully applying a facial mask. Hearing that Liu Yuqing could rest tomorrow, she thought for a moment and said, ”Perfect, I have time tomorrow too. Let’s go house hunting then.”

Liu Yunong is always a very decisive person. Since she plans to give Liu Yuqing a house for her future, she needs to start working on it now.

She had already asked friends before. There are three well-located new residential areas in Bei’an recently.

After comparing and getting honest advice from friends, Liu Yunong set her sights on the Fengqiao Riverfront District near Red Flag Avenue.

The location of this area is particularly good, with its front gate facing Xuefu Street and the back gate leading to a park and morning market.

In the future, when the couple is living their lives, grocery shopping and park outings will be convenient. Moreover, it is said that the community has nice greenery layout, especially being on Xuefu Street. If they have children in the future, picking them up from school will also be hassle-free.

This is how it is being the older sister, always so concerned.

Especially since Liu Yunong practically raised her younger sister herself. She might be a sister, but she’s almost like half a mom.

Planning for her sister’s future, she really puts her heart into it, fearing there might be something not thought through that could cause her sister any grievances.

Liu Yuqing was a bit surprised: ”House hunting?”

Liu Yunong nodded and said seriously: ”Didn’t you say earlier that Fu Yu is renting a place outside? Since it’s rented, there’s no need to spend money on renovations. If you really want to fix up a house, better to buy one. Later, you can renovate however you like since it’ll be your own house.”

Liu Yuqing was suddenly touched: ”Sister!”

Liu Yunong laughed, pinching Liu Yuqing’s cheek: ”Xiaofu is quite good, and his future prospects aren’t bad. As for the house, he can save up and purchase it slowly himself, but I want you to live well and not suffer with him. Besides, our family has the means, and I’m willing to help you two out.”

For a moment, Liu Yuqing didn’t know what to say, she just excitedly hugged her sister.

After sharing her plan, Liu Yunong didn’t forget to remind, ”However, let’s agree in advance, this house, though bought for you two, and you’re free to arrange the decorations, the property deed must be in your name before marriage. This is non-negotiable, and there’s no need to intentionally bring this up with Fu Yu. Do you understand my point?”

It’s not that Liu Yunong doesn’t trust Fu Yu’s character, or that she’s calculating.

But feelings are inherently uncertain. Though the two are inseparable now, who can guarantee there won’t be changes in the future?

Moreover, her requirement isn’t high. As long as the two can smoothly get married, the house will be considered a dowry from her family’s side. She can even help with buying a garage and car.

As long as Fu Yu treats her sister sincerely, none of this would be an issue.

Liu Yuqing leaned in and gave Liu Yunong a kiss: ”Sister, thank you!”

Liu Yuqing thought, if she had a house, then Fu Yu wouldn’t need to buy one in the future.

It would serve him a big surprise!

However, given Fu Yu’s character, he might not find it too surprising. During this time together, she has figured some of him out.

Fu Yu, though mild and gentle on the surface, has a bit of a masculine pride deep down.

For instance, during their time together, whether dining out or shopping and other activities, Fu Yu never lets Liu Yuqing foot the bill; he always pays.

However, Fu Yu is so understanding, he should realize her true intention is to help lighten his burden a little.

After all, they plan to live together in the future, and they’ll have to support each other in life.

She watches Fu Yu work hard every day and doesn’t want to add more pressure on him.

After all, they’re not getting any younger. If their relationship goes well, they might soon have to start planning a wedding.

However, Liu Yuqing having such thoughts doesn’t mean she is heartless or doesn’t care for her sister.

Rather, compared to not buying, a house, after all, is an asset, not just money thrown away.

She doesn’t want her and Fu Yu, just starting out, to live in a state of constantly saving for a house, living tightly, or facing the weariness of mortgage payments. The impact on life quality is one side, and the troubles of a poor couple is the other.

She doesn’t want that.

Besides, Fu Yu is not a man who lacks ambition or doesn’t strive for improvement.

The reason Liu Yuqing likes Fu Yu is because he is capable and excellent.

She trusts in her judgment and believes in her sister’s vision too.

She believes Fu Yu will certainly make her happy in the future.

And she is willing to be Fu Yu’s lifelong partner, to love him sweetly until they grow old together!

Thinking of this, Liu Yuqing blushed slightly, feeling both touched and happy. She couldn’t help but hug her sister again.

Liu Yunong laughed and pushed her gently: ”Stop it, as long as you’re happy, I’m content.”

Liu Yuqing moved closer and kissed Liu Yunong again: ”Sister, I love you so much!”

Liu Yunong laughed so hard her mouth couldn’t close: ”Cheesy!”

Then she added, ”Since you’re in a relationship, make sure to cherish it. But if Xiaofu ever wrongs you, let me know, and I’ll take care of him for you.”
