The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

[Ding! You gained +5 favorability with NPC front desk clerk Qu Jing]

Fu Yu heard the electronic prompt and couldn’t help but chuckle.

Look at that!

Life is just so realistic.

When you’re just an unknown small character, even the system will directly determine that you’re not in the same league.

But, when you’ve grown and become someone significant, your weight will substantially increase.

Everything you say and do will attract the attention and even appreciation of others.

In just a few months, now a casual word of thanks can easily gain favorability.

Of course, this doesn’t speak to Qu Jing’s character.

Rather, through this matter, Fu Yu realized a truth.

Among people, when you are at the same level and on the same tier, the mutual interaction is genuinely equal.

However, when you want to befriend someone who is at a higher level and tier than you, the process of interaction can be very difficult.

It’s often said there are gaps between people, and this gap is the prerequisite for forming relationships.

Qu Jing said warmly, ”Chef Fu, the customers who made appointments have arrived. We’ve entertained them in the VIP room, the registration is done, and you can now proceed to arrange for the custom medicinal meals at any time.”

Fu Yu nodded and said with a smile, ”Thank you, Sister Qu.”

Qu Jing smiled even more happily, ”No need to be so polite, we’re all on the same team. The customers who previously placed orders were particularly satisfied with the medicinal meals arranged by the store. Among the new customers this time, two were introduced to place orders by our old customers, which, in turn, brought a lot of potential new customers to our store, all thanks to you.”

Saying this, Qu Jing looked at the young man standing in front of her and couldn’t help but reflect on how she only initially thought he was handsome without noticing all his excellent qualities.

”Chef Fu, you are truly amazing. Our store’s medicinal meals are incredibly popular now, and even when customers inquire about placing orders, they are very cooperative.”

Qu Jing accompanied Fu Yu to the VIP room, praising him with a smile.

She was speaking from her heart.

Customers entering the store to inquire about placing orders can be a very tedious and energy-consuming task.

The various large banquet orders in the store have clear prices listed, yet customers always try to bargain.

One side thinks absolutely must not lose out, while the other tries hard to persuade in order to complete the order.

Both sides often have to spend half the day negotiating and exhausting their words before they can successfully complete a large banquet order.

However, when it comes to custom medicinal meals, there’s none of this hassle.

Customers are not only extremely cooperative but also quick and straightforward when paying.

It wasn’t obvious before, but now, with customers coming to pre-order New Year medicinal meals, it’s as if they’re bringing money to the door, afraid of being turned away. Whether it’s registration or negotiating a meeting time, they are very cooperative.

Fu Yu smiled, ”Indeed, but it mainly owes to your excellent service. You guys are the main force in communication.”

Qu Jing laughed upon hearing that, as everyone loves to hear compliments.

She chuckled twice and suddenly asked, ”By the way, Chef Fu, do you have a girlfriend?”

Although the rumor is that Fu Yu is single, this kind of thing has to be confirmed by the person in question to count.

Fu Yu was taken aback and then smiled, ”Yes, I do. She works with me at Qianlima. I’ll introduce you when I have the chance.”

Qu Jing sighed silently upon hearing this.

Then she smiled to herself, feeling that her bit of regret at the moment was a little silly.

It’s evident that such an excellent and well-qualified person would likely have a girlfriend.

...

Fu Yu followed Qu Jing to the VIP room, almost reaching the place when he remembered he hadn’t clocked in, so he took a detour midway to sign in first.

[Ding! Signed in!]

[Ding! Daily task: Complete five custom medicinal meal recipes. Task reward: 30 RMB, Task experience +10]

[Ding! Consecutive daily tasks sign-in 30/30 days, task completion reward: One freckle-removal medicinal meal recipe, current task completion progress: 29/30]

Fu Yu’s face lit up with joy!

Ever since he accepted the consecutive sign-in task, he’s been eagerly awaiting the day to complete it.

After 29 days of waiting, he’s now on the brink of completing the task today and getting the freckle-removal medicinal meal recipe.

Before this, in terms of medicinal meal cooking, he only had an endocrine dietary therapy recipe. If he could get the freckle-removal medicinal meal recipe, he would have a little more leverage in beauty treatments.

Freckle removal has been one of the most popular beauty treatments in recent years and a significant test of a beautician’s skills and their mastery of treatment operations in this area.

Freckle removal is highly focused on in beauty care, but it often has slow results and less than noticeable treatment outcomes.

Treatments in this area are a real test of the beautician’s technical level!

In this area, Fu Yu honestly isn’t very skilled.

As long as he can successfully complete the five medicinal meal recipes, obtaining the freckle-removal recipe is practically a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Fu Yu girded himself for action, determined to complete the task successfully!

Fu Yu is very adept at customizing medicinal meals, as Traditional Chinese Medicine emphasizes observation, listening, questioning, and feeling the pulse.

Customizing medicinal meals is quite similar.

The reception staff already had a good understanding of the customer’s specific needs, and after Fu Yu inquired about the details and got a sense of the situation, he began preparing the arrangements and tastings for the customers.
