The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

At this moment, both Yao Shi and Liu Yunong couldn’t help but express their feelings.

Honestly speaking, although Liu Yunong somewhat acknowledged Fu Yu’s culinary skills, in her heart, she felt that this so-called medicinal cuisine was nothing but a gimmick created by Yao Shi, using the reputation of the music restaurant to introduce new menu items.

She didn’t feel there was anything special about this medicinal cuisine banquet.

Therefore, even though Fu Yu would go to the Shangshi Private Kitchen to learn cooking every evening, he never mentioned anything about medicinal cuisine, let alone demonstrate the related culinary skills.

Consequently, Liu Yunong didn’t take this matter to heart at all.

However, now, especially after personally observing Fu Yu cooking medicinal cuisine.

Honestly, Liu Yunong truly felt regret!

As a fellow restaurant owner, Liu Yunong profoundly realized how she missed such a business opportunity due to a moment of carelessness!

She should have communicated with Fu Yu earlier about medicinal cuisine cooking, or even seized the opportunity to come and see it herself.

Thinking about how many opportunities slipped away right under her nose, Liu Yunong felt a pang in her heart.

On the other hand, Yao Shi looked at Fu Yu with eager eyes.

If someone asked him now whether it was worth the gamble to promote and attract customers at his restaurant for Fu Yu and collaborate in promoting medicinal cuisine?

Yao Shi’s answer would undoubtedly be: Worth it! Absolutely worth it!

Not to mention just offering the venue for free, helping with connections and promotions, even if it required spending real money, he would willingly do it because it’s absolutely worth it!

In Yao Shi’s perspective, this type of medicinal cuisine cooking has already diverged significantly from traditional medicinal cuisine banquets.

In fact, the cooking of medicinal cuisine is similar to that of ordinary dishes, all requiring the guarantee of color, aroma, and taste.

However, to achieve perfection with these seemingly simple requirements is exceedingly difficult.

Having been in the culinary field since childhood, Yao Shi has done extensive research on cooking methods, so he can clearly see that Fu Yu’s medicinal cuisine is not just an ordinary dish.

To say something pretentious: This medicinal cuisine banquet has become a unique dish! It doesn’t just incorporate the medicinal effects of the ingredients but also the soul injected by the chef!

This thought sprouted suddenly from Yao Shi’s heart while observing Fu Yu’s cooking.

In terms of medicinal cuisine cooking techniques, Fu Yu obviously has a significant difference from traditional medicinal cuisine cooking.

If traditional medicinal cuisine cooking mainly focuses on the embodiment of medicinal effects!

Then Fu Yu’s medicinal cuisine cooking is about making the best arrangements and adjustments in terms of taste pairing, cooking technique selection, and plating design, as if endeavoring to innovate a unique new dish.

It’s as if medicinal cuisine has been granted a new cooking philosophy, a chance to be redefined.

At this moment, Yao Shi suddenly felt that the previous pricing for Fu Yu’s medicinal cuisine was a bit low!

Better not to know a thing than to feel the difference when comparing!

Anyone familiar with nutrition, who has tasted medicinal cuisine before, can basically identify the difference in the culinary skills of different chefs upon tasting it.

Being edible and being delicious are two completely different concepts.

Among those present, the most knowledgeable Liu Shaoxian had long noticed this, even starting to contemplate whether it’s possible to evolve traditional medicinal cuisine cooking.

With that in mind, he couldn’t help but say: ”Xiaofu, let’s find some time to have a private conversation. I want to discuss medicinal cuisine cooking with you in detail. I am planning to conduct a specialized study on this.”

”Your cooking methods and techniques have high potential for exploration and research. We can completely achieve a sort of combination and innovation by perfecting the varieties and ingredient pairings of medicinal cuisine.”

”This is a related subject I’ve always wanted to study and organize!”

”Right now, a few experts and I in the research council have a collaborative research project about the therapeutic effects of medicinal cuisine on the human body, and I hope to invite you as our consultant to participate and provide certain technical discussions, what do you think...?”

”Of course, this matter definitely won’t take up too much of your time, because we do have a certain time limitation on this field study, primarily we hope you can assist us by providing some pharmacological pairings and detailed operational experience in medicinal cuisine cooking.”

At this point, Liu Shaoxian specially emphasized: ”I will work to get you a consultant title. Becoming a consultant for the research council allows you to gain exclusive rights to medicinal cuisine design.”

Fu Yu didn’t expect that Liu Shaoxian actually intended to invite him as a consultant.

Based on his current grasp of medicinal cuisine cooking methods and understanding of the pairing of medicinal herbs and ingredients, it seemed he was still somewhat lacking.

With Liu Shaoxian’s words, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of unworthiness.

However, this thought only flashed across his mind briefly.

After all, being appreciated and valued is a fortunate thing.

Moreover, it must be said that Liu Shaoxian indeed lives up to his reputation as an expert; he’s already beginning research into the therapeutic effects of medicinal cuisine on the human body, indicating an intention to promote and publicize medicinal cuisine!
