The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

After leaving the renovation company, the two strolled downstairs.

The second floor of the Great World is the renovation company and large furniture exhibition area.

The first floor is daily necessities, with many brands and a wide variety of goods.

Hardware shops, lighting stands, and kitchenware exhibition areas are lined up.

Fu Yu used to accompany his parents to the commercial city wholesale market, casually buying low-end brandless products, so what does he know about these brands?

But Liu Yuqing knows it all too well.

Liu Yuqing found everything nice: ”This set of lamps looks really good. After finishing the ceiling, it will definitely match well. But personally, I suggest it’s best not to do a ceiling. It looks good, but it’s really hard to clean in the future. When you hire cleaning help, they always say to install as few ceilings as possible.”

Fu Yu nodded in agreement: ”Okay, I’ll listen to you, no ceiling.”

Liu Yuqing squinted with a smile: ”Are you really letting me make the decision?”

Fu Yu flirtatiously winked: ”Of course, during the renovation, you are my manager, I’ll follow all your instructions.”

Liu Yuqing glared at him with blush-tinted ears: ”Go away!”

Heading towards the main entrance, they passed by a kitchenware shop.

Liu Yuqing said again: ”For the kitchenware, you’ll have to come and choose it yourself later. Select the appliances first, then install the cabinets. There are so many styles now!”

Fu Yu replied: ”Alright, you’ll have to come with me to pick them out at that time.”

Liu Yuqing tilted her head proudly: ”Actually, it’s not much. Mainly, you need to decide on the style of the stove and range hood, and the sink, water purifier... Buying these things takes some time, looks like we won’t have any time off during the New Year.”

Fu Yu chuckled at Liu Yuqing, who was genuinely worried for him, a gentle smile unconsciously appeared on his face, and he squeezed his fingers, a strange sense of affection welled up in his heart.

Recently, the medicinal cuisine business has been booming, and his wallet started to fill up again.

When a man has money, he stands up straight and can’t wait to spend money on the people close to him. It feels unbearable not to spend money for Fu Yu.

He had just confirmed three reliable medicinal cuisine orders and immediately took advantage of his lunch break the next day to buy two sets of branded thermal underwear for his parents at a large supermarket on the side street and sent them back by courier.

He then bought two cartons of Zhonghua cigarettes for Zhao Meng.

Now he had the urge to treat Liu Yuqing to a big meal.

Wang Kangxu came out of a large branded furniture boutique he represented, dressed in an elegant and effortless casual outfit, without even wearing a down jacket, hurriedly went downstairs, walked through the corridor, and when he turned into the main hall, his peripheral vision swept across the display windows, and he suddenly stopped.

Fu Yu and Liu Yuqing were walking side by side amongst the crowd, without any intimate gestures, just like ordinary people shopping and chatting.

The two had quite a height difference, speaking with their faces turned, one looking down, the other looking up, one handsome and rugged face, one gentle and beautiful, even a casual glance exchanged between them exuded a subtle and almost imperceptible tenderness and affection...

Wang Kangxu stood in a corner of a shop, watching bewilderedly, hands slowly clenched and tucked into his pocket, a faint red filled his eyes, he didn’t even feel the pain with his nails embedded into his flesh.

He recognized Fu Yu’s face.

He clearly remembered that day he was confessing to Liu Yuqing, and it was this guy who wore a chef’s uniform and obliviously came over, witnessing his embarrassment.

...

Though it wasn’t the weekend, there were quite a few people hanging out in the Great World.

In the corner of a small shop, under the warm lights, even the floating bubbles in the air dissipated, and the lights on the ceiling smiled charmingly, full of deep affection...

Fu Yu gallantly turned his head and said: ”Order whatever you want, today I’ll make sure you eat to your heart’s content.”

Liu Yuqing mischievously smiled: ”Then I’ll order something expensive, how about Hometown Garden Barbecue? Their kimbap is unbeatable, and the grilled cod is particularly delicious!”

Fu Yu had never eaten at Hometown Garden, and upon hearing this, nodded: ”Alright! Let’s eat there then!”

The two were enthusiastically discussing when someone quickly approached from slightly behind them.

”Xiaoqing!”

Hearing the shout, the two of them turned around simultaneously.

Seeing the person, both were stunned, neither expected to encounter an acquaintance here.

Fu Yu saw Wang Kangxu, and his brow immediately furrowed.

Liu Yuqing was also surprised, not expecting to run into him here.

Actually, Wang Kangxu looked quite good too.

The orange lights from the ceiling flowed over his decent-featured face, his eyes bright and tender, his tall, handsome figure stood out amongst the crowd.

Wang Kangxu stepped forward, walked up to Liu Yuqing, glanced at Fu Yu, then at Liu Yuqing, and unawarely said: ”Xiaoqing, what a coincidence, didn’t expect to run into you here!”

Liu Yuqing inwardly sighed, how could this happen! It’s truly speechless.

But as awkward as it was, the person greeted warmly, she couldn’t really respond coldly.

Liu Yuqing smiled at Wang Kangxu: ”Yes, quite a coincidence!”

Wang Kangxu greeted Liu Yuqing gracefully, then turned to look at Fu Yu: ”Oh, and this is?”

Liu Yuqing smiled and said: ”My friend, Fu Yu.”

Wang Kangxu shook hands with Fu Yu: ”I’m Wang Kangxu, also a friend of Xiaoqing.”

After speaking, without waiting for Fu Yu to respond, he turned to Liu Yuqing and said: ”Xiaoqing, are you here to buy home furnishings?”

Liu Yuqing honestly replied: ”I’m accompanying him to consult on the renovation design for a new house.”

Wang Kangxu was obviously taken aback for a moment, then forced out a smile and pretended to be magnanimous: ”So Mr. Fu is renovating a new house, are you looking to buy home furnishings? I happen to represent a home furnishings brand here, if you need anything, feel free to ask me.”
