Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 584: Peering into the Lower Realm through its daughter, Infinity Dragon’s shock.

Grey was quick to publish the path to the Human Alliance, and it was causing a huge commotion across the entire starry sky that fell under Eterna’s presence.

”What is up with the author of the Aether Evolutionary Path? Did he have an epiphany and decide to upload the perfected stages?”

”Well, whatever the case is, I am doing good.”

”I can finally climb to the sixth rank. I have been waiting a long time for this.”

”These new paths... I need to study them.”

”My fellow scholars, come join me. I am conducting a one billion participant Scholarly Open Interactive Seminar. Let us all observe and learn from this path.”

This immediately caused a massive stir. It did not take long for the Aether Evolutionary Path to become the main talk of the world.

This was a topic that always made waves in the starry sky, and now with the rapid uploading of the new ranks, everyone was talking about it.

Of course, while this happened, Grey was back on his home planet.

It was finally time for him to break through. He gathered everyone together.

The eighth rank could either be the easiest breakthrough yet or the hardest. This was a necessary step for the concept of Myriad Realms Return to One.

Myriad Realms Return to One dictated that your past, your future, and every alternate self merged into one whole being. This formed a Dao Generation node and elevated the evolver into a true multiversal entity.

However, Grey’s powers already far surpassed that limit.

His power would only reach a new threshold through the inner demon foundation building, amplified by the Dao of Power.

As for how the actual formation of the Dao Generation would go, he had no idea. He did not have multiple alternate versions of himself across timelines. He was one single, fateless entity.

What if he could not achieve true transcendence because of this missing factor?

But he quickly shook his head. That was just a negative way of thinking. Tian Yuan and Azathoth had already crossed that exact step, hence there was no need to worry about it too much.

With those thoughts settled, he swiftly called Kaelith, the other gods, and Alan to stand guard as he began ascending to the eighth rank.

The genetic limiter blocking the eighth rank shattered.

Metamorphosis energy began pouring into him in torrents.

There were six distinct levels to the eighth rank, and he officially decided to name it the Inner Nexus Realm.

He called it the Inner Nexus because, after clearing the inner demons, one would reach the ultimate summit of mentality and raw power with the direct help of the Dao of Power.

Boom!

The entire universe violently shuddered the instant Grey crossed into the eighth rank.

All the known ancestors opened their eyes from deep seclusion, looking toward the source of such massive distortion in reality. They all rose into the starry sky.

”Such immense power.” The Yellow Ancestor’s eyes peered through the cosmos from the edge of the universe, his gaze landing directly on Grey. ”It is him.”

He was deeply shaken seeing the sight.

The kid who had just landed in the fifth rank a few months back was now undergoing the inner demon cleansing at the eighth rank!

Everyone watching was stunned beyond words.

”How is this even possible?” he could not help but ask.

Kaelith and the others stared at Grey, who glowed like a brilliant star under the night sky.

”A genuine monster,” Kaelith sighed.

At the exact same time, peering through the cosmic lens of Alissa, a perfectly scaled and infinitely stretched entity was silently observing this scene.

”My daughter’s boyfriend... He is not bad.” The infinitely scaled entity’s voice echoed out in the void as it slowly went back into its slumber, waiting patiently for the destined time.

The destined time when the Fate Race would officially wage war against the Paragons.

”Fate Race, oh Fate Race. Your actions will send ripples across the endless reality and might just be the way for me to finally ascend.”

Just then, the Infinity Dragon seemed to sense something unnatural. It peered deeply into the lower world via Alissa’s connection and completely froze.

Boom!

The main world was now painted in a vibrant shade of purple, with destructive lightning crackling across the entire atmosphere.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Galaxies and stars began collapsing as Grey’s conceptual powers surged to a completely new level.

His source, which held the six Axiom Nodes, transformed as it reached the peak of the sixth dimension, becoming the sovereign of reality.

Time and space began folding under the sheer pressure of Grey’s power.

Tian Yuan, who was halfway through his journey across space, froze mid-step upon sensing this power.

”This? Is it that kid?” Tian Yuan’s entire immortal core was violently shaking under the pressure exhibited by Grey.

He could not be blamed.

Grey’s strength was soaring uncontrollably. Axiom energy and the Dao of Power coalesced together, relentlessly rehammering his strengthened higher-dimensional body.

”I have no inner demons,” Grey muttered, completely speechless.

He was shooting through the minor ranks as the boundless power of the Holy Corpse surged into him. He faced zero internal resistance.

His worldly worries and his powers were simply far too young to form a genuine inner demon.

At that time, all the ancestors witnessing this miraculous sight wore the same flabbergasted expression.

”Where is his inner demon tribulation?”

”There is nothing there.” Andrew, the leader of the Myriad Gates, had a completely dumbfounded look on his face.

Grey did not mind this anomaly too much. To him, raw strength mattered more.

The six traditional levels of the realm felt useless to him. But the Dao of Power, having sensed that Grey had no inner demons blocking the path, directly continued strengthening his foundation without pause.

Inside its hidden dimension, the Dao of Power was lamenting. ”How can someone break the cosmic rules like this so easily?”

What no one knew, not even Grey himself, was that this smooth breakthrough was not just because Grey was young, but specifically because of the purifying nature of the Nexus energy!

The power continued growing exponentially as Grey mysteriously tapped into a new conceptual force that condensed directly into his very being.

Tian Yuan, sensing this specific shift, wore a look of pure shock.

”He awakened this specific power this early?”

A terrifying beam of destruction accidentally shot out from Grey’s body. But before it could cause any lasting damage, Grey casually waved his hands, and the world directly returned to its previous, pristine state.

”You... what did you just do?” Just then, the Origin Will’s voice came through, freezing local space-time. She materialized, staring eye to eye with Grey.

”If you did something as extreme as reversing time, it should have immediately created a different timeline branch.”

”I made it so that will not happen,” Grey smiled calmly at the Origin Will.

Upon reaching the peak of the sixth dimension, the ancient beings of this era inherently possessed the power to reverse or speed up time, and even alter history itself.

That was exactly what Grey just did, but he mixed it with reality-altering power, all while ensuring no new branch of reality was spawned.

This was the newly awakened power of his Fateless One physique. The power to completely override the detection mechanisms of time.

Alternate branches were usually created because the universe detected him not existing in a specific reality. As a result, it would create a branch from the main timeline. If he crossed into that branch, the main timeline would get destroyed, losing its origin, and the branch he crossed into after using time power would become the new main branch.

But with this new ability, the River of Time could no longer sense his presence. The conceptual authority that governed time would directly ignore the changes he made to history.

He now held complete authority over time within this universe. A single glance could let him peer far into the distant future or look all the way back into the primordial era.

Right now, his combat power had already touched the threshold of the tenth rank.

His power was officially at the pseudo tenth rank.

Alissa was the first one to rush towards Grey.

”Are you okay?” She asked with immense concern written over her face.

”Of course I am.” Grey replied as he softly pinched her face.

”N-Not in front of the people.” She became shy.

She knew a lot of people were watching now.

”Alissa is so greedy. Wanting Grey all to himself” Just then, a teasing voice came through.

It was Valeria.

”But I call dips on kissing him first.” She shot towards Grey as she gave a kiss on his face.

”Not fair.” Lia came forward with a pout. ”I was first in line you girls.”

”It was my turn first.”

Valeria burst out laughing hearing this.

”Hey calm down.” Grey’s lips twitched.

Damn. Do these girls have no sense of shame?

Just then, Grey felt something and his expression turned.
