Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 561: The means to instantly reach 10th rank

This was happening because his soul and source were undergoing a true fusion.

The source contained frequency; the soul contained soul power.

They both blinked rapidly as the different powers clashed. In that moment, the Axiom Fusion Technique came into play. The metamorphosis power surged, regulating the irregularity between the two powers.

The two waves of energy, which crashed against each other because they flowed in different patterns, aligned. It was equivalent to a wave-type pattern and a single-line pattern aligning; the wave type calmed down and turned into a single line, and they connected to each other.

The golden and purple lines connected immediately as the source swallowed the soul.

In the outside world, the Yellow Ancestor and Kaelith frowned.

”Not good!” They both formed a seal, and immediately a barrier formed around Grey.

It was a space-time barrier.

However, as soon as it formed, it broke apart like butter.

”WHAT?!”

The following moment, a blinding light erupted from Grey.

Whrmm! Shnnn!

A shining, bright white light shot into the sky as Grey’s source descended to the starry sky.

The following moment, a wave of energy erupted from him, destroying everything in its path, including a nearby galaxy. But Kaelith and the Yellow Ancestor were already present, preventing casualties.

Everyone was stunned by this sight.

”My son,” Angela called out in worry.

As soon as she did, a soundwave ring formed around the ever-growing white light.

The instant the soundwave ring formed, reality cracked and bent.

Whrmmm!

A terrifying and tyrannical power descended upon reality that broke apart the fabrics of the information layer and the fourth and third dimensions alike.

”Parts of the information layer are being destroyed?” Eve had a stunned expression.

”There is no doubt...” Eterna, sensing the tyrannical power, immediately recognized it.

”It is that energy.”

Boom!

The soundwave ring grew as the light began subduing. Then, a sound that sounded like a heartbeat resounded.

It was a brand new source, a triangular source with six sparks, one being lit up.

The soundwave ring shifted as the source beat once more.

Ting!

Two silver-purple saintly halos erupted from above Grey’s head. Then, a grey and purple one, which belonged to his presence as a lesser heaven, erupted.

Following that, the Crown of Finality also emerged.

Boom!

The rules of space around Grey’s area of consciousness began to bend.

Space-time bent to his will as the soundwave ring constantly adjusted reality to his will.

The destroyed planets and galaxies came back in a moment. This was not rewinding time, but rather bending reality in a way that they were never destroyed in the first place.

Kaelith and the Yellow Ancestor looked at the scene with bewildered looks.

Standing there now, they felt a suppressive force from Grey.

They knew without even trying that if they attempted to use their energy, the soundwave ring around Grey would completely rush in to crush their energy.

They felt inferior.

Inferior in front of the grand power laid before their eyes.

”This power... it reminds me of ascendancy power.” Kaelith’s eyes widened in shock.

But how is that possible? How can ascendancy power exist in a sixth ranker?

That thought alone was absurd.

Soon, the pressure subdued. Out of the source, a humanoid figure took shape. The halos and crown above the source began to shift and turn until they formed a purple, white, and black soundwave ring that looked like a crown but shifted like a wave.

Grey stood there in his same old clothing, with an infinitely more handsome face and a boundless presence emitting from him.

His presence alone could now kill; that is the power he had attained.

”Lord Grey,” Kaelith called out. ”The power you have achieved has completely shocked me.”

”What is your combat power right now?” he asked in a curious tone.

The suppression that he and the Yellow Ancestor felt before was unmistakable.

Only an eighth ranker can try to form a suppression over another eighth ranker.

Would that not mean Lord Grey’s power has evolved into the eighth rank while just being a sixth rank being?

That thought alone was a scary thought.

”I wonder.” Grey simply smiled, his face calm.

Their thoughts were not wrong. As he stood there with his Nexus Overclock, which was now passively running at seven hundred percent thanks to achieving the sixth rank, his combat power should be at the eighth rank, first or second level.

Without it, it should still be close to the eighth rank.

And right now, he could push his Nexus Overclock to thirteen hundred percent, which would give additional power bonuses.

The extent of his power was something he himself did not know for sure, and all this was while being at just the first spark of the Axiom Realm.

”Yellow Ancestor,” Grey called out to the Yellow Ancestor. ”Why have you come?”

”Grey.” The Yellow Ancestor looked at Grey with a complicated look on his face.

But he soon cut to the chase.

”I came here to say that the Origin Body Evolvers from the Myriad Gates have breached the layer of our domain. They have unleashed an all-out war.”

”What?” Grey wore a confused expression on his face when he heard this.

”Why?”

”We do not know.” The Yellow Ancestor shook his head. ”But in their team, there are countless eighth rankers.”

”If we have to guess, they initiated this war because of the Holy Corpse that descended near our domain.”

”The Crystal Zerg race that is within our domain is also on the move for it.”

”Holy Corpse?” Grey blinked hearing this.

”While you were preparing for the ascension, a corpse descended into this world.”

”That corpse seemed to be something from a higher world.”

”From what I have understood so far, it has the power to make you a tenth ranker instantly, and that is just one of the many things it can do.”

The one that spoke was the World Tree.

It had some knowledge about the corpse tree since its roots covered all of endless reality.
