Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 574: The Heavenly Space Beast Tian Mo, Dao Generation realm expert, 7th rank achieved.

”It is complete!” Grey heaved a sigh of relief.

After a full day of meticulous work, his seventh-rank path was finally ready to be used and published for his pathstriders.

The people in the Azure Origin universe would also be able to use this, starting now. They should have already received it, in fact, since he had created the branch, and their means of progression was tied directly to accessing it.

Interestingly enough, he did not know precisely how much more powerful he would become after this.

Of course, there was only one way to find out.

That was by undergoing genetic ascension himself. He could directly step into the seventh rank right now, thanks to the boundless reserves of the Holy Corpse.

He was speedrunning the creation of the path, but the reality was that his flawless simulations condensed what would normally take countless eons into mere hours. There were no mistakes.

Just then, he felt something.

There was a strange fluctuation in the void.

The Nexus Domain shuddered under an invisible, crushing presence.

Sensing this, Grey silently stepped out of his Creator’s space. By now, Alan and Kaelith were already by his side.

”There is a strange man standing just outside of the planet’s atmosphere,” Kaelith informed him.

”Who might that be?” Grey frowned. He could not think of anyone who would come to make trouble with them right now, unless it was Tian Yuan.

”We do not know.” Kaelith’s face grew grim. ”But that man is at the ninth rank.”

It was Grey’s turn for his expression to sink.

He had not anticipated this at all. There were still ninth rankers roaming around in this universe?

”Let us go meet this man,” Grey said. He waved his hand, and the tall tower that housed his family and friends was directly shifted into his secure Lesser Heaven space.

Then, Alan and Kaelith, along with the other eighth-rank gods, flew up to meet this intruder.

”Greetings, fellow Daoists,” the man greeted them with an easy smile. ”I am the Heavenly Space Beast, Tian Mo.”

”Tian Mo?” Grey raised an eyebrow. ”What is your relationship with Tian Yuan, senior?”

”Tian Yuan? Funny guy. He once used my seventh-rank strengthening technique to power his own immortal path,” Tian Mo said with a booming laugh.

Alan and Grey’s expressions simultaneously changed.

His seventh-rank strengthening technique...?

”Does that mean you are the one who created the technique to reforge the higher dimensional body for foundational growth?”

”It was not created,” Tian Mo said with a wide grin. ”I merely took inspiration from the ancient chaos, from the Great Lord Chaos Emperor himself, to forge that piece of technique.”

”I am sure you are very much aware of what I am talking about, fellow Daoist in the center,” Tian Mo said, his eyes locking onto Grey.

Grey’s heart skipped a beat.

Did that mean this Tian Mo actually possessed a chaos fragment similar to his Chaos Source Codex? It would make a lot of sense, one way or another.

”What is your purpose in coming here, Senior?” Grey asked carefully.

”It is simple,” Tian Mo replied. ”I was so busy comprehending the Law of Chaos trapped within the ancient ruins that I was not able to make it before the Holy Corpse was refined by you.”

”Hand over the power of that Enlightened Body. It will allow me to finally reach the tenth rank,” Tian Mo demanded, seamlessly unleashing his aura.

Ninth rank, first level. But the sheer density of the energy oozing out of him made it abundantly clear that he could easily fight across levels.

Kaelith and Alan immediately grew serious.

”Oh? You both are not suppressed by my aura?” Tian Mo looked genuinely surprised to see Alan and Kaelith standing completely fine under his pressure.

He was an expert in the Dao Generation realm. The power of the Dao completely outweighed the mere law power that common evolvers possessed. Yet they were unaffected?

He squinted his eyes as he looked closely at Kaelith.

”You are...”

”If you are here for a fight, then there is no need to waste words,” Kaelith interrupted coldly. ”I believe we should see this through. You will not be getting the Holy Corpse.”

”Haha.” Tian Mo chuckled. ”Is that so?”

Boom!

The following moment, his figure detonated into motion, a terrifying wave of energy crashing directly toward the Nexus Domain.

Grey’s eyes turned freezing cold. Targeting his planet? He was afraid it would not be that easy.

Kaelith and Alan’s power surged violently. They were both at the peak of the eighth rank, but that was merely their existence level. Their true combat scores were on an entirely different scale.

”Oh?” Tian Mo raised an eyebrow, then smiled. ”I did not expect this level of resistance. But if you think that is enough to stop me, it is just wishful thinking.”

Smoke erupted from his figure as it split into two, then into three identical forms.

The three bodies shared the precise same level of tyrannical power. Seeing this, the defenders were stunned.

Especially Grey. He recognized this specific wavelength. This was the cloning frequency! The very same cloning frequency he had once extracted from the Chaos Source Codex!

He was now even more certain that this beast had something related to the Chaos Emperor, even if his Fateless nature had not sensed it until now.

”I should ascend right now.” Grey knew that if he crossed the threshold this very second, he could easily help Kaelith and Alan crush this monster.

Boom!

He did not hesitate. He directly shattered his genetic limiter.

The moment the lock broke, the dormant, golden power of the Holy Corpse surged into his very being like an unsealed sun. The boundless life force converted flawlessly into his path, forging a torrential flood of pure Axiom energy.

This immense fluctuation immediately caught Tian Mo’s attention.

”This is...?” Tian Mo was stunned, pausing his assault. ”A strengthening technique... but it is better?”

He stopped fighting the two gods altogether, mesmerized by the phenomenon. Seeing this, Kaelith and Alan remained cautious but held their ground.

”Do not worry, I will not attack right now. I want to see this man’s technique up close.”

Inside Grey’s newly transcended source, Metamorphosis power collapsed together with his Axiom energy. In a display of geometric perfection, six distinct focal points ignited within his core, the Axiom Nodes.

Once the nodes formed, the strengthening protocol of the dimensionally ascended body initiated.

It only drew in a single, concentrated drop of the Holy Corpse’s boundless power.

But that was enough!

CRACK!

That single drop of power slammed into the first node, the Dark Node. The node shattered, and the energy was instantly caught in the logarithmic spiral. Instead of decaying, the energy violently multiplied. It expanded in size, density, and sheer mass, washing over the first sector of his dimensional body in a torrential wave, reinforcing every single inch to an unbreakable, flawless state.

The sheer strain of this multiplier caused his foundation to instantaneously crater, dropping to near zero. But the Holy Corpse, sensing the collapse, relentlessly pumped pure life force back in, aggressively forcing his foundation back to one hundred percent in a fraction of a millisecond.

The amplified energy did not stop. It surged forward, crashing into the second node, the Red Node.

CRACK!

The energy compounded again. What started as a drop was now a roaring ocean of Axiom power. It shattered the third node (Green), then the fourth (Blue).

The cycle of destruction and rebirth became an intoxicating blur. His foundation plummeted to one percent, only to be violently healed and expanded by the Holy Corpse, over and over again. The raw satisfaction of infinite stamina fueling an infinite multiplier sent shockwaves through his physical and spiritual form.

CRACK! CRACK!

The Yellow Node broke. Then, finally, the White Node ignited.

The six shattered nodes harmonized, forming a brilliant, pulsating rainbow ring around his source. A cosmic engine of perpetual, geometric growth had been born within him. Every single atom, every frequency of his existence, had been saturated and strengthened to the absolute brim.

Then, Grey unleashed his aura.

BOOM!

A suffocating ocean of Axiom power erupted from his source. Reality itself glitched and tore apart at the seams as the sheer weight of his presence rolled over Tian Mo.

”T-this...” Tian Mo wore a completely baffled, horrified look on his face.

”You... your combat power is at the Dao Generation Realm right now!” Tian Mo exclaimed in sheer disbelief. ”How can a mere strengthening technique at the seventh rank achieve such a monstrous power?!”

”It is not a simple strengthening technique,” Grey grinned, his eyes glowing with multi-colored light. ”This is the same technique you took inspiration from the Chaos Emperor to make, only perfected.”

”If a normal person achieves the seventh rank using your flawed method, they would have 1S, 1A, and 1D of power. But with this, it has been multiplied twenty times over. This technique min-maxes the energy expenditure by utilizing the mathematical concept of the logarithmic spiral to form a flawless resonance. It compounds the energy exponentially without waste. Meaning, it can output the raw power needed to fuel a universe from just a minuscule drop of initial energy.”

”WHAT?!” Kaelith, Alan, and Tian Mo equally wore dumbfounded expressions, staring at Grey in bafflement, unable to process the sheer absurdity of what they had just witnessed.
