Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 573: The Axiom Node Strengthening Technique

When an object drops into water, it creates expanding circular ripples. Normally, this energy dissipates uniformly in all directions and naturally grows weaker. Most of it scatters and is entirely wasted, and only a tiny fraction ever reaches where it is actually needed. That waste was the real problem. At the later levels, his realm’s appetite grew so massive that, left unchecked, it would suck up every resource in the universe just to make up for everything it was throwing away. He could not afford to keep relying on the universe to feed it.

So Grey bypassed the natural decay by violently forcing the expanding waves to follow a strict logarithmic spiral instead. Nothing leaked out sideways. Nothing scattered. Every bit of energy that the old method would have bled into nothingness was now routed forward through the geometry and delivered intact.

Meaning, the same energy that used to arrive as a tiny fraction now arrived whole. Compared to the old wasteful way, one unit of energy now did the work that used to take ten.

But of course, that just solved the decay of energy issue. He could make it even more efficient by using the same logic as the helixes in the fifth rank.

He could build something structurally similar.

”I will call them Axiom Nodes.”

These nodes will act as the rippler of the energy, which is converted into Axiom power. This power will expand with each node broken, which means it will scale up the stored energy infinitely to the point you no longer need to rely on outside energy, but purely on your own internal reserves.

Meaning, a path strider of his specific path would only require taking in a large influx of energy at the exact time they were undergoing metamorphosis. After that, they can just make it expand more and more with each Axiom Node, making it entirely possible to achieve a self-sustained ascension.

”I am a genius.”

This technique was genuinely world-breaking.

Medicines, potions, foundation keys, hidden opportunities, these were all traditional ways to obtain external energy and resources to break through. But he completely skipped all those tedious steps and made them utterly useless.

He only needed a small initial amount, which will geometrically ripple into the massive energy he needed.

And not just that, it also has ten times the effect due to it strictly following the logarithmic spiral, aka the Golden Ratio.

It was flawless.

With that major issue solved and the technique he deduced functionally working at ten times its original effect, he could move on to the next step.

Making this technique hit all the right spots.

His path revolved entirely around strengthening everything to absolute perfection and ascension.

Everything had to be strengthened equally.

He mentally went into the information layer. With a wave of his hands, the complex blueprint of his source appeared.

This source will transcend once more once it reached the seventh rank, officially making him an even higher dimensional being.

He could use the raw metamorphosis energy to construct the necessary Axiom Nodes.

Realizing this, he went back to the simulation space and quickly conducted some rigorous simulations.

He made the clone reach the seventh rank; it successfully broke through the genetic limiter and formed metamorphosis power.

Once it did, Grey made the clone combine that power seamlessly with the Axiom power.

Boom!

The source violently exploded with immense Axiom power. Soon, six colored nodes clearly appeared in the source.

”Oh, it worked.” Grey was happy.

He was initially thinking about making this rank have twelve levels, but that was now unnecessary with the ten times energy efficiency he had just deduced.

He initially had that thought because if he did not have twelve levels, then he was afraid the energy would not flow to all places naturally.

And if that did not happen, then it would mean there were high chances of detonating from your own power due to critical instability in one specific part.

Either just focus on one part entirely or do them all equally. You cannot take any shortcuts here.

The six nodes sat in a perfect circle; they were dark, red, green, blue, yellow, and white.

Breaking these nodes should substantially increase the overall energy you have stored inside for the subsequent strengthening phase.

Soon, Grey also did some further simulations to see if these six nodes will flawlessly flow to every inch of the source, strengthening it to the absolute brim or not. The result was a huge success.

The Axiom power smoothly rippled, washing over the body, intricately rewiring the dimensional body of the clone, flawlessly strengthening the foundation of the clone so it can naturally withstand the titanic power of the ninth rank later on.

With this, his seventh rank was officially completed!

And if the base technique only gave 1S, 1D, 1A to a normal evolver who directly skipped the fifth rank, then right now, if they actively use this technique, they would step into the seventh rank with a staggering 20S, 20A, and 20D.

If this person was someone who successfully underwent the fifth-rank anchoring of his path, then the resulting power would easily go far beyond even that.

That was the sheer, terrifying potential he unlocked using this brand new technique.

He decided to call this the Axiom Node Strengthening Technique.

This was fully compiled and added into the Nexus Scripture. He also went inside the Creator Invocation space to compile the said seventh rank and create an official branch for it.

Of course, it still was not necessarily done; there was also another fundamental process to the seventh rank.

That was making one fuse with the conceptual thing you anchored to. For immortals and martial artists, that was the Heavenly Dao. For his path, it was the Summit of Nexus.

Meaning, when in actual practice, they would need to fuse directly with the Summit of Nexus to even form the Axiom Nodes. The clone could do it because he forced it, but that was a simulation, and the simulation did not naturally possess the fusion concept.

Of course, that was very easy to implement as well.

Grey immediately began working on integrating it.

At the exact same time, someplace far away.

”Huh, strange. The corpse completely disappeared. Did someone get the corpse?” A man with glowing, beastly eyes stood in the void, space violently crackling around his robust form.

”Looks like I need to find this person.”
