Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1585: Chapter 1585: The Counterattack is About to Begin

And An Ping was still out there with a loudspeaker shouting, ”Ultra-low price sale! Only for five days! Limited supply! Miss it and you’ll regret it too late!”

Guan Qing knew that this must be An Ping’s counterattack.

Seeing that the prey was almost in her hands, she couldn’t just watch it escape.

Back in the office, she called the financiers of her four companies to check the financial situation.

After checking, Guan Qing had a rough estimate in her heart. This time, it was impossible to gain without giving anything. The wolf in front of her was not submissive and still wanted to struggle.

But, they could only struggle a little bit.

Even if she sold vegetables, she would only lose about five or six percent, and even including the interest to Boss Hou, it wouldn’t cost much.

Compared to a company, what she was paying was still less.

She needed to meet with Boss Hou, it seemed that the money would have to be paid back later.

”Secretary Zhang!” Guan Qing made up her mind and called Secretary Zhang in, ”Arrange it! We need to clear the vegetables as soon as possible! Turn them into money! If we keep stockpiling this batch of vegetables, they might really rot away.”

She knew that the quantity of vegetables she had purchased far exceeded the amount stated in the contract. She did this so that An Ping wouldn’t be able to deliver on time.

”Alright. I’ll arrange it!” said Secretary Zhang.

Secretary Zhang organized a team to clear out the vegetables from the warehouse.

Once the signal was sent out, vendors came trickling in; seeing that the price was indeed cheaper than that of An Ping Vegetable Company’s, they began to buy in bulk.

However, the purchasing power of the merchants who had already stockpiled was much less.

So the effect was not ideal.

It seemed not so easy to sell this batch of vegetables. Guan Ping’s damn move to sell at no profit and at a loss saturated the current market.

Making it impossible for her batch of vegetables to sell!

However, Guan Qing was not particularly worried, five days would soon pass, and once the company was mortgaged, she would drastically lower the prices to sell!

Hou Zicheng was sitting in his office, sipping red wine; outside the window, the spring was bright and warm, and his mood soared.

Recently, he had taken a big order, and money was pouring into his pockets.

There were countless ways to make money, but the business he ran was highly profitable.

Every kind of business had its wins and losses, but the business he was engaged in was unique. As long as he protected himself well, it meant making a lot of money.

”Boss, someone is looking for you outside,” said Hou Zicheng’s female secretary, walking in with a style full of allure, as she took his wine glass from his hand and drank the remaining red wine in one gulp.

”Hehe,” Hou Zicheng chuckled, hooked his secretary’s neck, and planted a heavy kiss on her cheek, ”What kind of guests? Invite them in!”

”Standing outside are two beautiful ladies! Such beauties are rare to see!” The female secretary felt a twinge of jealousy as she said this.

”Could they be more beautiful than you?” Hou Zicheng said with a smile as he patted her cheek and took out a few banknotes from his pocket, stuffing them into the secretary’s collar, ”Go! Spend it!”

The female secretary’s face broke into a wide smile: ”Thank you, boss! I’ll bring them in now!”

”Go on! Hurry up!” Hou Zicheng stood up and straightened his clothes. Hearing the door open and footsteps approaching, he turned his head and was shocked when he saw who it was.
