Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1551: Chapter 1551: Just Like a Little Hot Pepper

Guan Qing finished her own business, picked up her bag, and stood up as the road began to get paved.

If you’re going to do it, go big.

Although she could play tricks and speculate about people’s hearts, she would never resort to the despicable methods mentioned by Wang Jiu.

Next, she began to slowly brew her plans.

A gentleman’s revenge is not too late, even after ten years!

She would seek justice for Zhiyuan and reclaim what was rightfully hers.

.................

Around eleven o’clock at night, An Ping was woken up by the urge to pee. He got up to use the bathroom and, seeing that Erzhuzi and Liu Xiaolian still hadn’t returned, he was a bit worried about those unreliable guys.

He got dressed and walked out of the company dormitory, heading towards the nearby Disco Ballroom to look for them.

As luck would have it, just as he reached the entrance, he came across an altercation consisting of bullying and harassing a woman.

Two men were surrounding a woman, not letting her leave, and were teasing her with unrepeatable filthy language.

This time, An Ping didn’t rashly barge in; instead, he quietly stood aside to observe the situation first.

”Little sister, it’s not safe for you to go home alone this late, right? Why not let the two of us brothers escort you?” Hou Zicheng, who was drunk, was speaking with a bit of a slur.

And Wang Jiu, who had just recently admired Guan Qing’s smooth and delicate skin, was feeling an evil fire stirring within him.

To step out of the dance hall and run into such an elegant and pretty woman, he really felt an uncontrollable urge.

Lin Qiushu, just back from overseas where she had spent the year with her mother and grandmother, had come here to sit with two business friends. Because she was delayed leaving due to settling the bill, she encountered this unpleasant situation.

”Thanks, but I don’t need it! You two brothers should go escort someone else!” Lin Qiushu declined and hurried to leave.

”Don’t be like that! You can’t just leave like this! See, both brothers here fancy you, how could we let you go without giving you some money?” Hou Zicheng said as he pulled out a thick stack of bills from his suit pocket, waving it in front of Lin Qiushu, ”All this could be yours!”

Lin Qiushu sneered in disdain.

”What’s with that laugh? You think it’s not enough? Brother here has more.” Hou Zicheng grabbed another stack of bills from his trouser pocket, ”Come on. Is this enough for you?”

”Come on over,” Lin Qiushu beckoned with a curl of her finger, a smile playing on her lips.

”Ay, it really is the money that works. Little sister, you only have eyes for money not for brother here! But brother’s eyes are all on you!” Hou Zicheng mumbled to himself as he moved closer.

Lin Qiushu’s face turned stern, and she threw a hard punch directly at Hou Zicheng’s eye socket.

”Ow~” Hou Zicheng didn’t expect to be hit by a woman, aching badly and feeling humiliated.

”Now, do you see what you’ve gotten yourself into?” Lin Qiushu sneered coldly.

Wang Jiu was just about to step forward to grab Lin Qiushu when, out of nowhere, he was fiercely kicked by a high-heeled shoe.

”Mommy!” He immediately clutched his crotch in agony, tears streaming down his face, ”Do you want to cripple me?”

”You brought this upon yourselves.” Lin Qiushu dusted off her hands, she had some self-defense skills and wouldn’t let them bully her.

”Damn it! A feisty one! Brother here just loves a hot pepper!” Wang Jiu whistled, and his bunch of lackeys scurried out.
