Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1083: Chapter 1083: High Mountains and Running Water Find a True Friend

An Hao stopped her chopsticks and felt for a moment before saying, ”I was a bit dizzy earlier, but I’m much better now. It’s probably because I was tired and hungry.”

”That’s good. After eating, go rest early.”

”Mm-hmm.”

After finishing her meal, An Hao felt sleepy and very tired, so she took a hot shower and went to bed early.

After Qin Jian and Ning Yibin had finished playing chess, it was already quite late.

Zhang Yun urged Qin Jian to go rest soon, and before he went up, Zhang Yun advised Qin Jian, ”I’ve noticed your wife has been very tired these days. Take it easy at night for the next few days, don’t wear her out.”

Qin Jian coughed awkwardly twice, ”Got it.”

When Qin Jian went upstairs, An Hao was already in a deep sleep. He took off his clothes, got under the covers, and wrapped his arms around her from behind.

His little wife’s body was so soft and fragrant that he could hardly resist.

Seeing An Hao sleeping so soundly, he finally gave up the idea he had in mind, cleared all distractions, and deeply fell asleep.

...........................

The next day, Qin Jian called An Hao three times before she reluctantly got up.

She did not know what was wrong these days, feeling weak and tired even though she had hardly done anything.

In the morning, Qin Jian went to the army and dropped her off on the way.

She arrived at the hospital just in time to not be late for work.

As usual, they started with the ward rounds, followed by the daily meeting.

Yan Ye walked in, holding a document in his hand. After scanning the crowd, he cleared his throat and said, ”Everyone is aware of what happened in the ward yesterday. I have already reported it to the senior management. Today’s decision has come through, Ruan Fangfang will suspend her internship for one week! After a week, the published decision will be the final result.”

No sooner had Yan Ye finished speaking than Ruan Fangfang’s eyes reddened and tears fell.

She turned to run, but Ma Mei tightly grasped her hand and shook her head at her.

”Moving on, the other two interns, An Hao and Lei Linxuan, you will both start your internship in General Surgery starting today, for a period of six months!” Yan Ye finished, folded the paper, put it in his pocket, and asked, ”Does anyone have any comments?”

After the meeting, Yan Ye escorted An Hao and Lei Linxuan to General Surgery and specifically instructed Ji Chuan, the chief of General Surgery, to take extra care of his two students.

In this hospital, Ji Chuan and Yan Ye were equally young and both seen as talented youths.

Ji Chuan was the main surgeon in General Surgery, known as Ji Yidao. At just thirty years old, he was already the backbone of the General Surgery department.

The two had a mutual admiration, feeling a sense of encountering a kindred spirit.

Seeing Yan Ye personally deliver his students, Ji Chuan naturally wanted to show him great respect. ”Since they are Yan Ye’s students, they are also my students! In the Cardiac Surgery department, Yan Ye personally mentors you. In General Surgery, I will mentor you personally.”

”That’s great!” Lei Linxuan clapped her hands happily. She had long heard of the stories about the director of General Surgery, and naturally, it was a very happy thing to intern under the department head.

An Hao, looking at Ji Chuan, was quietly pondering one issue in her heart. This guy’s looks were obviously high-scale. If she interned under him, wouldn’t she become the target of envy among those little nurses or female doctors?

”Eh? You’re not happy to intern under me?” Not seeing the expected joy on An Hao’s face, Ji Chuan was somewhat displeased.
