“Master, you truly did take in three remarkable Disciples…” Golden Monkey couldn’t help but murmur to himself, feeling a hint of awe.

The Eldest Disciple was someone he had watched her grow with his own eyes. She was exceptional in every respect. Under her command was a vast legion of Zergs, a swarming force so formidable that, in terms of military might alone, they were not far behind the Demon Court itself.

The Second Disciple, Bosun, though not gifted in raw talent, excelled in shrewdness and subtlety. After tempering himself in the mortal world, he now bore an indescribable depth. Even Golden Monkey himself could no longer read the full measure of Bosun’s thoughts.

And as for the Youngest Disciple, Shea. She needed no introduction. Wielder of the Eyes of Death, she walked the edge between life and death, where only a single thread held sway. Her terrifying strength could send chills into a Tier-6 like Golden Monkey himself.

To put it bluntly, even if he unleashed all his trump cards, he wasn’t certain he could defeat Shea.

Such was her terrifying prowess.

However, that was precisely what Golden Monkey hoped for.

A true Force could never rely on just one or two strong individuals to hold it up. It had to be built upon generation after generation…

So long as the descendants did not fail their predecessors…He believed the Demon Court’s rise to supremacy was only a matter of time.

As for now, he would simply watch over this generation, to see how they would shoulder the weight of the entire Demon Court.

With that thought, Golden Monkey suggested with a smile, “Osmanthus… for now, let’s not interfere.”

“Very well…” With a slight nod, Osmanthus gave her word, “Unless the Demon Court faces a true crisis… I will not intervene in its affairs.”

“Good. Then let this be a true trial… for Bosun and the others.” A soft laugh echoed in the air, as anticipation flickered in Golden Monkey’s eyes.

…

Meanwhile, Bosun and Shea remained unaware that Golden Monkey and Osmanthus had long since turned their attention to them.

Not that it would have mattered even if they knew.

After all, the entire Celestial Realm was Osmanthus’ playground. So long as she wished, she could know about everything. Which was to say, here was nothing within the Celestial Realm that could escape her gaze.

And now…

*Step, step, step…* Footsteps echoed one after another as Shea led Bosun toward a side palace of the Demon Palace.

The main hall belonged to Yu Zi Yu. Naturally, Juniors like them could not simply enter at will.

Thus, this modest side palace of the Demon Palace served as their meeting place.

“All of the Second Generation Divine Beasts have arrived. The Three Prodigies and Four Marquises are on their way as well. And even veteran figures like Flatheadhave been notified… though whether Honey Badger will actually show up… that remains to be seen…” Shea reported calmly.

“En” Nodding his acknowledgement, Bosun changed the subject,

Bosun nodded, then changed the subject, “Could you tell me about the current Ten Divine Beasts, the Three Prodigies… and these so-called Marquises?”

“Of course.” Without hesitation, Shea nodded.

And then, one by one, she began to introduce them.

The Ten Divine Beasts needs no introduction. Each had been personally selected by the previous generation Divine Beasts…

Among all the Successors, only White Tiger didn’t train his Successor. In the end, he made a last-minute decision and chose the second strongest of the Tiger Clan, Dark Tiger, who also served as the Commander of the Legion of Darkness.

However, he happened to be the most powerful among the Second Generation Divine Beasts, for he was a Half-Step Overlord already, just a breath away from reaching Tier-6.

Next was Nine Tails, who chose a Spirit Fox from the Green Hill, White Fox.

Bosun was no stranger to this one. White Fox had long followed Nine Tails, often appearing by her side. She had even participated in the Martial Arts Tournament once held by Misty Mountains, where she secured third place.

And that was only because she had held back.

Furthermore, White Fox had once devoured a Marvelous Treasure of Heaven and Earth, which had granted her a terrifying Divine Ability still unknown to most.

Even now, few could see through the depths of her strength.

But one thing was certain, among the Second Generation Divine Beasts, she was without a doubt the most mysterious and unfathomable. Her power was thought to be at least equal to the Dark Tiger’s.

Aside from those two, another figure stood out.

That was the one who had inherited the position of the previous Tenth Divine Beast, the Dragon’s Son, Chaofeng.

He used to guard the Cultivation Manual Pavilion in the Heavenly Court’s Secret Realm. After joining the Demon Court, he had shown exceptional diligence, rendering great service time and again. After long consideration, Lightning Dragon had finally chosen him as his Successor.

He, too, was a terrifying existence at the peak of Tier-5.

Just how strong he truly was, few could say.

As for the other seven Successors to the Divine Beasts, they were relatively unfamiliar.

Each hailed from one of the Major Clans. They were true top-tier prodigies in their own right.

For instance, the Successor chosen by the Bull Demon was a Green Bull from the Bull Clan who had attained enlightenment.

The Golden Ant had picked a prodigy from the Ant Clan known as the Wargod Ant, who had also earned the title of Hercules Ant.

…

After listening calmly to Shea’s explanation, Bosun nodded thoughtfully.

[Fortunately, I recognize seven to eight of them. That’s great! But, what about the Three Prodigies and Four Marquises…] Somewhat curious, Bosun voiced his doubts, “What about the Three Prodigies? I assume I’ve heard of them too?”

“The Three Prodigies, you should not be unfamiliar with them. Their leader is none other than Quinn, who can shoot electricity from her fingers. And the other two are the God-Devouring Rat and the Master of Spirit and Monsters, Nurarihyon.

“As for the Four Marquises. They are beings who have inherited the legacies of several terrifying Elders of the Demon Court. One is Long Shao, chosen by the Ice Elemental Flood Dragon. Though Human, he’s possessed by the Soul of a Flame Dragon, and is considered a Dragon. The second is the Lord of Saturn, the grandson of Qing Gang. He is a prodigy who also cultivates the Earth Element.”

With each sentence, Shea gave a swift overview of the current upper echelons of the Demon Court. Though still young, these individuals were anything but weak. Some of them were, in fact, already more powerful than even their Seniors.

This burgeoning strength, above all else, was Yu Zi Yu’s greatest source of confidence before he left.

Having worthy Successors… nothing could bring greater satisfaction.
