“Golden Monkey…” As Yu Zi Yu called out, a figure not far away—clad in golden armor, and with fur radiating a brilliant luster—stepped forward.

Golden Monkey was not tall.

Compared to others with bodies spanning hundreds or thousands of meters, he was only the height of a typical adult.

However, it was this seemingly small figure who had guided the entire Demon Court.

Deep within his eyes, stars could be seen swimming.

Between his brows, a thoughtful expression lingered.

He was a true sage.

“Master…” Softly greeting, Golden Monkey bowed respectfully.

“Congratulations on your breakthrough.” As he spoke, Yu Zi Yu raised his hand and plucked something from the void.

Moments later, a segment of the branch landed in Yu Zi Yu’s palm.

It was a branch from Yu Zi Yu’s True Body.

As a Supreme Divine Tree that had achieved Seventh Order in Physical Evolution, Yu Zi Yu’s True Form was an unparalleled treasure.

Not to mention a branch, even a single leaf possessed the miraculous ability to regrow flesh and resurrect the dead.

Now, Yu Zi Yu had selected a well-nurtured branch, and as he gently stroked it with his right hand, Spiritual Energy surging through his hands, the branch grew rapidly, transforming into a two-to-three-meter-long black staff.

At first glance, the staff appeared like a piece of forged steel. Its dark sheen glimmered ominously, emitting sharp bursts of cold light.

It was a perfect vessel for a staff-type weapon.

The quality of the wood in a staff weapon heavily influenced its overall excellence.

And Yu Zi Yu’s branches were, naturally, peerless materials.

What’s more, they carried a terrifying trait, ‘Immortality.’

So long as Spiritual Energy remained, it was immortal and indestructible.

In other words, so long as it was supplied with enough Spiritual Energy, this branch would never break.

With this in mind, a faint smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s lips as he casually tossed the staff toward Golden Monkey.

“Polish it well. Then have Little Tenth temper it for you… There’s a good chance it could become a Tier-7 Divine Artifact.”

“Hehe…” Grinning wide, Golden Monkey frankly stated, “It’s more than just a ‘good chance’… Master’s branch is a Natal Artifact Embryo. I could refine it directly if I wanted.”

“That’s great, then.” Smiling, Yu Zi Yu too agreed with this.

Natal Artifact Embryo, that was an apt description. Unfortunately, branches like these were not something he could freely bestow.

If given out too liberally and they fell into the wrong hands, someone could potentially use them to scheme against him.

At the very least, those skilled in fate or curses could use a branch to trace back to Yu Zi Yu’s True Body.

This was precisely why powerful beings typically avoided letting their energy or personal items fall into others’ hands.

For someone like Yu Zi Yu, an enlightened Divine Tree, it was even more critical to minimize the number of branches or leaves lost to the outside world.

Fortunately, Golden Monkey was trustworthy.

As Yu Zi Yu’s close confidant, if he successfully refined the branch into his Natal Artifact, then this possibility would be completely cut off.

Moreover, the branch was perfectly suited for Golden Monkey.

*Whoosh, whoosh…*

With a flick of his right hand, the branch-turned-staff spun rapidly in Golden Monkey’s grasp, stirring up storm after storm of swirling air.

Its terrifying whistle drew the attention of many experts.

There was no doubt, if this staff struck a mountain, it would reduce it to dust.

“Master, I am very pleased with this gift…” Golden Monkey spoke sincerely, then added with hopeful determination, “If possible, I would like to make it the weapon I attain the Dao with.”

“That’s entirely up to you…”

Yu Zi Yu smiled and left it at that.

The current Demon Court was truly formidable.

In addition to himself, there were many others who had stepped into Tier-6.

Previously, Immortal Osmanthus, Slytherin, and Golden Ant had stepped into Tier-6.

And now, Nine Tails, Little Tenth, and Golden Monkey had stepped into Tier-6.

Altogether, the Demon Court had as many as six Overlords standing peerlessly in the world, apart from Yu Zi Yu.

And that was not even counting the hidden figure lurking in the shadows, Zi Lian.

*Tsk tsk…* Clicking his tongue in admiration, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze once again swept over the many figures gathered in the grand hall.

“You all must prioritize your cultivation. Do not vie for power or personal gain. Remember, strength is the foundation of everything.” Having given rare instruction, Yu Zi Yu’s figure slowly began to fade, leaving behind only a hall full of figures looking at one another in surprise.

Only now did they realize that their Master had already left, and what remained was merely a fading afterimage.

However, even so, none of the present powerhouses, not even the likes of the Nine Tails or Golden Monkey, had noticed his departure.

“Master… is becoming more and more terrifying.”

“Yeah… I can no longer see through him at all…”

“As if you ever could see through him…”

“Uh… true. Master has always been unfathomable…”

Sharing a knowing smile, the great hall, usually solemn, was suddenly lively with chatter.

…

At the same time, Yu Zi Yu had already appeared beneath a silver-white tree cloaked in frost, standing gracefully like a beautiful maiden.

This was Immortal Osmanthus, the Guardian of the Celestial Realm.

With her power alone, she protected the entire Celestial Realm. Even when besieged by numerous Overlords, she stood her ground and safeguarded the Demon Court.

Such was Immortal Osmanthus.

She had transformed the entire Celestial Realm into her personal domain. And within her domain, she was invincible among peers.

And now…

“Master…” With a gentle call, countless silver-white branches, like those shrouded in frost, extended toward Yu Zi Yu.

As if expressing affection… or perhaps…

“After all these years, you’re still acting like a child…” With a teasing smile at the corner of his lips, Yu Zi Yu chuckled.

“Judging by the growth cycle of the Divine Trees of the Osmanthus Clan, I am still a child…”

“Uh…” Yu Zi Yu was rendered momentarily speechless, and he couldn’t help but sigh helplessly.

She was not wrong. The Immortal Osmanthus Clan were trees of incredible longevity, with extraordinarily slow growth cycles. Sometimes, it took ten thousand years just to reach adulthood. However, applying that logic to the Immortal Osmanthus before him would be completely wrong. After all, she was born in the era of the Spiritual Energy Resurgence, a golden age of opportunity.

In this era, a single year of cultivation could equal several years’ worth in later times.

So naturally, the usual rules didn’t apply.

“You…” With a helpless sigh, Yu Zi Yu shifted the topic, “Has Shea arrived yet?”

“I’ve already sent word. She should be here soon.”

“En.” Nodding slightly, Yu Zi Yu asked a rare follow-up question, “What’s your impression of that little one?”

“Impression?” After a brief pause in contemplation, Osmanthus replied candidly, “If Master were to take her as a Disciple, I believe she would be worthy of your name…”

“Now that’s quite the high praise.”

“Hehe, she has the qualifications for it.”
