The Void was the enemy of all races, and for valid reasons.

For now, the threat might not be fully apparent.

But the greed, brutality, and above all, the unparalleled corrosiveness of Void Energy would eventually push the Void Clan to stand against all others.

No race could tolerate the continued existence of the Void Clan.

And the Void Clan, in turn, had always regarded all other races as mere sustenance.

So if news were to spread that the Purple Dragon bore a Supreme Principle then it was likely he would become the second target, after the Heaven-Connecting Jianmu, for the united force of all races to eliminate.

And this… was something Yu Zi Yu could not allow.

“The Gods…huh!?” Murmuring to himself, Yu Zi Yu narrowed his eyes.

At this point, Yu Zi Yu figured that the only force likely to possess such unfathomable means could only be the Gods.

Moreover, only they had the motive.

After all, not long ago, his Purple Dragon Form had suppressed an incarnation of Balthazar, the God of Light.

“It seems… the first thing I must do upon returning to the Demon Court… is deal with Balthazar’s vessel.” Yu Zi Yu let out a cold snort, his expression growing frosty.

As far as he was concerned, the Gods were indeed a threat.

Not only because of their mysterious ability to spy across countless distances, but also because of their Imperial Artifact, the Spear of Fate.

…

Not long after, as he gazed upon a starfield resembling a flowing river of stardust, Yu Zi Yu narrowed his eyes once again.

The Milky Way was home to the Demon Court.

Today, it stood tall as one of the top ten galaxies in the vast Western Sector.

Its prosperity and flourishing civilization had left countless shocked.

Raising his gaze, Yu Zi Yu beheld all manner of spaceships, darting across the cosmic void.

Planet after planet shimmered like lanterns in the dark, scattered throughout Heaven, each one nurturing a civilization of its own.

The Demon Court’s technological advancement might not be the most supreme in existence, but it ranked among the foremost.

And under the continual leadership of the Demon Court, the entire Milky Way now resembled a boundless ocean, with each planet as an island, and each warship as a sailing vessel.

To the people of Earth, this was nothing less than another great leap in civilization.

From the era of planetary confinement, they had stepped into the era of interstellar travel.

From a single race, they had evolved into a federation of hundreds of races.

This was what many now referred to as the “Age of the Great Milky Way.”

Beneath the stars, strength reigns supreme.

Those with sufficient power could command warships and roam the sea of stars.

The galaxies were vast beyond measure, and filled with boundless riches and undiscovered resources waiting to be claimed.

As such, with every passing day and moment, there were Tier-4s and even Tier-5s commanding their ships into the great unknown.

And this only became more prominent after the advent of the Summon the Eternal Dragon event.

Countless individuals scoured the stars in search of the fabled Dragon Balls.

Every time one of these Balls appeared, it would set off a storm across the Milky Way, sometimes leading to rivers of blood.

However, this chaos also meant the rise of more and more powerful beings.

By this day, numerous formidable experts had made a name for themselves across the galaxy.

Among them, a select few had risen to the very peak, honored with the title of ‘Sovereign.’

The Seven Sovereigns of the Milky Way, each one a Peak Tier-5.

Every single one of them could stand alone against their peers, their might unmatched.

Their terror… could not be put into words.

And aside from the Seven Sovereigns of the Milky Way, the geniuses emerging from the colossus Demon Court, one after another, had also shaken the stars with their names.

Among them, none was more terrifying than Phoenix Princess.

‘As long as it lives, even if it’s a God, I can kill it.’

That single sentence alone cemented her absolute dominance among the younger generation.

Some even hailed her as the Strongest Tier-5.

Even the Seven Sovereigns of the Milky Way did not dare to challenge her.

And apart from the Phoenix Princess, other geniuses of the Demon Court were also monstrously powerful.

However, their brilliance was overshadowed by the Phoenix Princess, and thus, they were rarely spoken of.

…

At this very moment…

*Whoosh…* With a flap of his wings, Yu Zi Yu streaked across the starry sky.

His terrifying speed was such that even Tier-5s failed to detect his passage.

All that could be seen was a fleeting streak of light vanishing into the void.

And when one looked up again, there was nothing but empty space.

“Was that just an illusion…?” In a daze, a man with long ice-blue hair, holding a gourd, furrowed his brow as he gazed into the depths of the cosmos.

He was one of the Seven Sovereigns of the Milky Way. He had risen from a desolate Star System deep within the Milky Way. If not for the Summon of the Eternal Dragon event, he would have never emerged into the vast galaxy at the helm of a warship.

*Haaaa…* With another weary sigh, this young member of the Ice Clan didn’t think much of the anomaly.

At present, all he desired was to find the nine Dragon Balls, and resurrect his Sister…Nothing else mattered.

Yet, he was not alone. Every one of the famed powerhouses across the Milky Way was searching for the Dragon Balls.

Especially those who, like him, the Seven Sovereigns, each of whom he held considerable wariness toward.

Of course, at times like these, he chose to deliberately ignore the geniuses from the Demon Court.

They were simply not on the same level, there was no need for comparison.

No matter how Heaven-defying the others’ talents were, compared to the monsters raised by the mighty Demon Court, there was still a wide gap.

Today, it was widely accepted that only the Seven Sovereigns of the Milky Way could even compete with the Demon Court’s geniuses.

And even then, it was only against the ordinary ones.

As for Phoenix Princess, hailed as the Strongest Tier-5, even if all Seven Sovereigns joined forces, they might not be able to defeat her.

Such was the Demon Court, a force so terrifying that it defied imagination.

It was perched atop the starry sky like a sovereign beast.

Its younger generation alone already suffocated countless rising stars.

Let alone the older generation, which included the Ten Great Divine Beasts, the Three Supreme Prodigies, the Elemental War Generals…

And above all of them, the Three Divine Beings who reigned supreme.

…

However, at that very moment, what none of them knew was that the one they feared and revered most… had already truly returned.

“We pay our respect to Master.”

“We pay our respect to Master.”

…

Amid the unified voices, at the deepest reaches of the Celestial Realm, fearsome figures like Gods and Devils knelt on one knee.

Looking up, there were not many of them, merely a few dozen.

However, these few dozen wielded control over the entire Demon Court.

Empress Ling Er, the First Divine Beast: Nine Tails, the Fourth Divine Beast: Sarcosuchus…

Each of these fearsome beings, capable of making the stars tremble, were now kneeling on one knee in reverence.

And notably, even Sarcosuchus, known for his lack of Shape-Shifting Skill, had temporarily assumed a proper Humanoid Form.

Shape-Shifting, after all, was a Minor Art.

It added no combat strength but was extremely practical.

Like now, when dozens of Humanoid figures knelt together, it looked far more orderly than having beings like Nine Tails or Sarcosuchus in their true colossal forms groveling across the hall.

Because of this, during Yu Zi Yu’s absence, Nine Tails had instructed everyone to practice basic Shape-Shifting.

All just so, when the time came to kneel before their Master, they’d at least look presentable.

And indeed, Sarcosuchus’s True Body now spanned tens of thousands of meters. The Demon Palace would likely not even fit him.

And even after using the Divine Ability—Shrinking and Enlarging at Will, he could only shrink himself into a two- to three-meter-long Golden Crocodile, which would still look out of place in the main hall.

Instead of that, it would be far better to take on a Humanoid Form.
