At this moment, if one were to peer deep into Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon Form, they would surely glimpse a bizarre and otherworldly world steeped in violet light, already in the midst of being born.

And that was the manifestation of the Purple Dragon Form’s power.

Carrying the Supreme Principle, Infinity, it continued to evolve without end.

With such a Principle, the Purple Dragon Form could assimilate various forms of power to grow.

And now, the power it absorbed was the vast and mysterious Void Energy.

Thus, this form naturally showed a tendency toward shouldering the entire Void.

If it had instead absorbed Spiritual Energy, it might have become the King of Spiritual Energy, or even the Ruler of the Cosmos.

Such was the most terrifying aspect of the Supreme Principle, Infinity.

It would continue to grow endlessly, until it reached the limits of all power.

And that end was called the Far Shore, the ultimate realm.

“Still, activating this body… the toll on my mind isn’t small.” Yu Zi Yu could not help but heave a sigh, feeling a tinge of helplessness.

His Purple Dragon Form’s power was too great, to the point that it was difficult to control.

However, it was also his own fault.

One side, he was manipulating the Angel King Form, and on the other, he was controlling the Purple Dragon Form.

Dividing his mind between two bodies had its benefits, but the mental strain was unimaginably immense.

Thus, he decided that it would be best to let the Purple Dragon Form return to slumber soon.

As for the God of Light, Balthazar, he had already been swallowed into Yu Zi Yu’s Divine Body, all his senses and connection sealed off by the boundless power of the Void.

It was akin to creating a world of his own, sealing Balthazar’s vessel within it.

And when Yu Zi Yu next comprehended the Supreme Principle of Infinity, he could attempt to break down and devour Balthazar’s body.

After all, that form of the God of Light possessed the Divine Energy of a Late-Stage Tier-6.

It was a body composed entirely of pure Divine Energy.

And such vast Divine Energy, for Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon Form, would surely be a delicious feast.

*Heh heh…* Chuckling in his heart, Yu Zi Yu admitted, he was far more intrigued by Divine Energy.

Unlike the Spiritual Energy cultivated by most races, or the Void Energy cultivated by the Void Clan, the Divine Energy of the Gods was unique and profoundly mysterious.

If he could analyze and understand it, it would offer immense benefits for his own path of cultivation.

Of course, before that…

*Roooooar…* With a thunderous, majestic roar, Yu Zi Yu’s massive form turned around and vanished into the depths of the Void.

As he departed, the violet hue that had dyed the starry skies began to gradually fade.

*Gulp…*

“Heavens…”

Gasps of shock echoed one after another.

Only now, the powerhouses standing beneath the stars dared to raise their heads, gazing in disbelief at the sky from which the violet tide had receded.

“What… what was that just now?”

“I don’t know… I’ve never seen a creature so terrifying… It had no end, and its sheer size shrouded the very Heavens…”

“Its head alone was as massive as a planet… How could that even be possible!?”

…

And at that very moment… in the very heart of the Angel Star Domain, upon Lumina Sanctis…

One Angel after another gazed fervently toward the starry skies, where a lone figure stood, bearing sixteen ethereal golden wings upon his back.

That was Alarion, the Fifth Angel King of the Angel Clan; the strongest of all Angels.

And once again, he had saved the Angels from disaster and despair.

However, just then…

“Why? Why did you let him go? With the Imperial Artifact in your possession, you could have stopped him!” Seraphim broke into an angry outburst, as icy wrath blanketed his face..

However, much to his bitter disappointment, the Fifth Angel King remained calm and stoic, and did not even spare him a glance.

“Let it go. The fact that Alarion even intervened is already a blessing.” a gentle voice tried to mediate. It was the Lord of the City of Angels, battered and wounded, who had rushed over.

Still, his expression was grim, because in terms of sheer power, Alarion truly had a chance to stop Balthazar.

Granted, it was only one of Balthazar’s incarnations, but even so, that vessel contained the majority of his Divine Energy.

Had they managed to retain it, it would have been a grievous blow to the God of Light.

So then… why?

Michael’s bewildered gaze turned toward the cold, proud silhouette in the distance, his expression growing ever more conflicted.

And just then, as if in response, or perhaps merely muttering to himself, a faint voice rippled across the stars, “The Gods’ Spear of Fate truly is terrifying…”

As he spoke, Yu Zi Yu raised his right hand.

*Drip… drip…*

What met the eyes of Seraphim and Michael was a blood-red cross-shaped wound on Yu Zi Yu’s right hand.

The wound was shimmering with crimson light, clearly pulsating.

With each pulse of that glow, Angelic Blood dripped slowly from Yu Zi Yu’s hand, descending into the mortal world.

This was the final counterattack Balthazar had unleashed as he was pushed away by Yu Zi Yu.

The Spear of Fate was the Gods’ greatest legacy.

Although it was only a projection, and not the actual True Body, this projection alone ten to twenty percent of the Spear’s full might, and it had been enough to injure Yu Zi Yu.

Thankfully, Yu Zi Yu’s True Body had reached the Seventh Order in Physical Evolution.

Even in his Angel King Form, invoked through his Innate Talent of Absolute Evolution, his body remained that at the Seventh Order.

Otherwise, even just this projection might have been enough to tear his body apart.

This, in turn, spoke volumes of its terrifying might.

“The Spear of Fate indeed lives up to its name.” Sighing to himself, a serious gleam flickered deep within Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

A mere projection had managed to wound him.

If the true Spear were to descend, fully awakened and restored…

He could hardly imagine the devastation.

“No wonder you’re so wary of that Imperial Artifact,” he murmured.

Almost as if in reply, Anzuiel chuckled in his mind, “If you weren’t so eager to test the Spear’s power, would you have even been injured? With your power, even if this projection had fifty percent of the true weapon’s power, you’d likely still come out unscathed.”

Hearing this, a faint smile curled Yu Zi Yu’s lips. “But how else would I learn of the Spear of Fate’s true power?”

A light chuckle escaped Yu Zi Yu. He seemed utterly unfazed by the injury.

Simply because if this wound could help him understand the nature of the Spear of Fate, then, it would be entirely worth it.
