Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 570: Illusion Trap

After his subordinates were ready, Zhang Fei [4] immediately summoned Zilvora, Orith, and Balena to meet him at the tower. Nauvia was completely shocked by their appearance, especially considering that the three female demons were far stronger than her, surpassing even the strength of Oz the Second, Zygoz, and Tharnon.

After he introduced the three of them to Nauvia, Zhang Fei [4] immediately took all of them to the Netherworld Realm. At first, he didnʼt plan to bring You Han with them, but he changed his mind and brought her along.

Once they got there, Zhang Fei [4] took all of them to the former incubus tower, but it was now changed to Elion Tower, which was Orithʼs idea. He then explained to his subordinates, Kyllia, Naeth, and others, how to absorb the demon aura in that realm, and he also provided them with his Yang Qi to strengthen their bodies further.

Additionally, Zhang Fei [4] also picked up his brother-in-law and Yan Zhixiu from the ghostveil forest to live in his tower so that they wouldnʼt feel lonely in that realm. However, Zhang Wuji felt awkward living with over a hundred female demons, so he chose to occupy a building right outside the tower.

Zhang Fei [4] initially intended to take Nauvia to the succubi tower, but she declined due to her dislike of the lust demon races, so he left her there.

After they left, Feltia [2] immediately appeared at Elion Tower, bringing the demons who always lived in the training space, such as the Amaris Twins, Eve, Fyr, Ashreth, Leora, Ursula, Nadea, Angela, Virgil, and Nadea.

Although the eleven female demons have become demon cultivators, they still need the demon aura to increase their demon rank and power. Moreover, they have long adapted to level three of the gravity feature, but they are still unable to train at level four.

”Hey, Elion! You havenʼt explained to us how you can move between realms.”

Zhang Fei[4] immediately turned to Zilvora. ”I am a demon cultivator, which sets me apart from ordinary demons like the three of you, and I possess some special abilities.”

Zhang Fei [4]ʼs revelation not only shocked Zilvora but also shocked Orith. On the other hand, Balena was not surprised by it, as she had guessed from the first time she met him.

Orith immediately hugged his arm. ”Does that mean we can become demon cultivators?”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei[4] nodded to them. ”You guys have cultivation veins, so you can become demon cultivators. However, you canʼt cultivate here, and you have to go to other realms to cultivate.”

”Then, take us to another realm to cultivate.” Zilvora and Orith eagerly anticipated the opportunity to become demon cultivators, as it would enhance their strength. As for Balena, she didnʼt think much about that, and she thought more about returning to her home realm, the Blue Water Realm.

”Iʼve considered taking you all to another realm, but the majority of humans in the realms Iʼm familiar with harbor animosity toward demons. In addition, most of them are stronger than you and would kill you all if they noticed your presence in their realm.” Zilvora and Orithʼs expressions turned gloomy after hearing that. ”However, I have thought of a suitable place for you guys, and I am thinking of bringing you there.”

”Where?”

”The realm behind the portal in the Dead Forest.” As soon as Zhang Fei [4] said that, Zilvora and Orithʼs eyes widened, particularly because the horror of the guardian protecting the portal was still fresh in their minds. ”As I said before, I have some special abilities, and you have also witnessed my speed, so I am confident I can take you guys past the guardian easily.”

”Why do you suddenly want to go to that realm?” Zilvorta asked doubtfully. ”Back then, I asked you to help me save the other demon kings and queens, but you rejected me.”

Zhang Fei [4] pulled Zilvora and gave her a brief kiss. ”Do you still not understand why I refuse to help you? I want you, but I canʼt beat you in a fight, and Iʼm sure youʼll come to me if I refuse you.”

Unlike Zilvora, who was dumbfounded, Orith laughed out loud at Zhang Fei [4]ʼs answer. ”Hahaha! In the end, she came to you and became your woman.”

”Tch!” Zilvora gritted her teeth in annoyance as she recalled the day she fell into her hands. Even so, she no longer regretted it, especially after she had sex with him too many times. ”Can you take us there now?”

”Easy.” Zhang Fei [4] immediately used the warp portal. ”Once you enter, we will immediately arrive at the Dead Forest, and I will take you guys to that realm directly.”

”Wait! I have to tell my subordinates first.” Orith immediately contacted several of her subordinates to take care of the tower while she was away. ”Letʼs go now!”

After a while, they reached the Dead Forest, where Zhang Fei [4] tied his tails to their waists and brought them into invisible states.

After arriving a little away from the portalʼs location, Zilvora and Orith trembled violently upon seeing the guardian. Zhang Fei [4] immediately used his teleportation, moved in front of the portal, and brought the three female demons into it.

Upon sensing activity from the portal, the guardian immediately opened its eyes, but it was too late as they had already entered it.

[Ding]

[The system has already recorded the Azure Sky Realm, and the host can access it through Gate in the future.] (A/N: This realm is not important, so I wonʼt write much about what happens there.)

”Hey! Are our demon emperor and Ilsath in this realm?” Orith immediately asked.

ʼThis realm doesnʼt have any quests or system upgrades, huh?ʼ Zhang Fei [4] then nodded to Orith. ”They should be in this realm, but this realm is much larger than the Netherworld Realm, so we need time to find them. For now, we will find a quiet place, and I will teach the three of you to become demon cultivators. After that, we will start looking for the two of them.”

The three female demons agreed with him, and Zhang Fei [4] immediately looked for a quiet place on the map. In a few seconds, they arrived at an uninhabited area, but there was a natural cave there, so he led them inside and guided them to become demon cultivators.

After they started cultivating, Zhang Fei [4] immediately looked for Ilsath and Azarothʼs location. ʼOh? After they become demon cultivators, Iʼll take them here since theyʼre nearby.ʼ

Zhang Fei and the others leisurely walked along the path in front of them, but they looked bored, especially since it was much longer than the paths they had walked before. ”Have you ever walked this long path before?”

Xian Xianxin immediately told him. ”Back then, we accidentally stepped into one of the traps in this maze, and it sent us down a very long path, which took us about two days to get through.”

”Your group was really lucky back then, Xianqin.” Yun Xinyue then shared her experience. ”Back then, my group accidentally walked into a trap, and we were caught in an endless loop, which took us so long to complete the maze challenge. We also had to clean up the beasts, whose numbers multiplied exponentially each time we killed them.”

”How did you guys get over that hurdle back then?”

Yun Xinyue released a heavy sigh. ”Big Brother Aoxian realized that we made a fatal mistake by killing them one by one, so he instructed us to use area attacks to kill them all at once. We finally managed to get through that obstacle, but we spent four to five days trapped inside.”

”I see.” Zhang Fei suddenly spotted a light ahead of them. ”Weʼre almost there.”

”Letʼs go there!” Zhang Fei and Xianqin followed Yun Xinyue, who took the lead by running ahead of them. However, they halted at the roomʼs entrance upon discovering several demon corpses inside, their bodies in a dismembered state. ”They are demons from the Ximen Demon Kingdoms.”

”Based on their corpses, it appears that they suffered a terrible death.” Xian Xianqin said with a frown. ”Moreover, there is no other way here, so I think whatever killed them is still inside.”

[Master, the system did not detect anything in that room.]

ʼThatʼs weird! How could they die like this?ʼ Zhang Fei swiftly lowered Bai Shouyi from his back and retrieved his divine-grade sword. ”Iʼll check inside, and Iʼll teleport out immediately if thereʼs any danger inside.”

Zhang Fei carefully entered the room, but nothing happened, so he rushed to the center of the room. However, a net of light elements quickly descended from the ceiling, prompting him to teleport out of the room immediately.

Both women were shocked to see that, but they were also relieved after the net disappeared to the ground. Xian Xianqin then pointed to the tiger head statue in the middle of the opposite wall. ”Fei, I think we should activate it to open the next path.”

”I agree with you.” Zhang Fei then looked at the tiger head statue seriously, finding a button in its mouth. ”The button to activate it is hidden in the mouth, so Iʼll go there to activate it.”

Zhang Fei immediately teleported in front of the tiger head statue, but three light nets suddenly appeared from above and on the two walls on both sides. He hurriedly inserted his hand into the mouth and pressed the button, causing the three of them to disappear instantly.

*Rumble... Rumble...*

Quickly, the wall in front of Zhang Fei sank into the ground, revealing a staircase leading to the upper floor. Upon seeing this, the two women immediately lifted and supported Bai Shouyi, bringing her to his side. However, he immediately took the unconscious woman from their hands and carried her on his back again. ”Letʼs go.”

In less than half an hour, they had already arrived at the next room, but a small wave of wind immediately swept past them as soon as they entered it, causing their eyes to go blank and fall to the floor.

However, Zhang Feiʼs eyes immediately returned to normal thanks to the illusion negation he mimicked from the black Amaris, so he was freed right away from the illusion.

Unfortunately, the fate of the women was not as good as Zhang Feiʼs, and they were already trapped in the illusion, including Bai Shouyi, who was still unconscious.

Zhang Fei immediately checked their conditions, but he was unable to release them from the illusion, especially since the illusion negation only applied to him. Even his light element failed to wake them, so he moved them to the side and waited for them to wake up on their own.

Zhang Fei immediately took out the book without a title before opening each page. ʼWhat is the result of your analysis of this book, Mei?ʼ

[Master, the system cannot analyze the book, so I do not know its benefits, and you may have to find a special method to bring out the writing inside.]

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei raised an eyebrow in thought, but then he tried to channel his four elements into the book. Unfortunately, the book showed no reaction, so he took a bottle of water from the inventory and poured it on it, but his efforts were once again in vain. ʼHmm? Could it be that this book is an artifact?ʼ

To prove his guess, Zhang Fei bit his thumb and dripped his blood onto the book, but it still showed no reaction. ʼWhat the hell with this book? Why isnʼt it showing anything? What should I use to activate it?ʼ

[Why donʼt you try burning it, Master?]

After a moment of frowning, Zhang Fei remembered a method from a novel he had read in the past and immediately opened his palm to use his fire qi. He then placed the book on his dark flames, but his flames were unable to burn it; instead, it floated away. ʼHmm? Donʼt tell me it has consciousness.ʼ

Unfortunately, Zhang Feiʼs guess was wrong, and the book immediately fell into the distance. He immediately sucked the book back into his hand and thought of another way to make the writing appear, but he couldnʼt think of any other way, so he put the book away again.

”The book should come from those realms, and I might be able to find a way to make the writing appear there.” Zhang Fei then turned to the three women and let out a heavy sigh, especially since he didnʼt know when they would break free from the illusion.

Xian Xianqin became irritated upon realizing she had been trapped in an illusion, particularly considering she had already fallen into the two previous traps. She frowned as soon as her parents appeared before her eyes, but two black swords suddenly pierced their bodies from behind, and their blood sprayed on her.

Xian Xianqin was unfazed by that, but she felt even more annoyed after seeing the woman holding those two swords, especially since she was Qian Ying.

”Hehe.” Qian Ying laughed after she pulled the two swords out of Xian Feng and Shi Qingzhuangʼs bodies, pointing both at Xian Xianqin. ”This time, itʼs your turn to die, Little Princess.”

*Boom*

As Xian Xianqin pulled out her green sword, her aura erupted. She immediately slashed it toward Qian Ying, but she quickly dodged it. ”If I hadnʼt overcome my demon heart, I might have believed that you were real. Unfortunately, I have overcome my demon heart, so you better not waste my time and release me from this illusion.”

”Are you sure that this is just an illusion?” Immediately, Qian Ying vanished from in front of Xian Xianqin, then reappeared behind her, stabbing both daggers toward her back.

Xian Xianqin immediately spun around, deflected Qian Yingʼs daggers, and kicked her stomach, sending her flying backward. ”Iʼve been friends with her for so long, and sheʼs tried to kill me many times, so Iʼm very familiar with her attack patterns.”

Qian Ying immediately disappeared from that place, but Xian Xianqin was stunned when two men appeared in front of her, and both of them were naked. ʼWhoever is controlling this illusion is obviously a pervert who would show me such a sight!ʼ

Xian Xianqinʼs face reddened at the sight of their lower bodies, but she immediately ignored that and charged toward the two. She slashed them with her sword straight away, causing both of them to disappear.

However, the test for Xian Xianqin didnʼt stop there, and various other figures repeatedly appeared before him no matter how hard he destroyed them. ”Tch! This is really a waste of my time!”

.

.

Unlike Xian Xianqin, Yun Xinyue encountered difficulties within the illusion. Her body trembled violently as she witnessed the death of her parents and family in front of her, causing her tears to flow freely from her eyes.

Unfortunately, Yun Xinyueʼs nightmare didnʼt end there; the illusion showed her the destruction of the Yun Kingdom, with an army of demons slaughtering its entire populace. Flames and black smoke covered the entire area of the kingdom, causing her to start suffering from a mental breakdown.

Yun Xinyue fell to the ground and cried as loud as she could. ”Stop! Please! Stop it! Donʼt kill them!”

.

.

Bai Shouyi continued to tremble and cry, particularly due to the fact that she was naked and tied to the wall. Moreover, Ximen Yan, who was also naked, stood in front of her, his expression so lustful that he was eager to pounce at her. ”No! No! Donʼt do it! Donʼt violate me!”

”Hahaha!” Ximen Yan laughed as he approached Bai Shouyi. ”Are you ready to surrender yourself to me, Little Princess?”

”No! Please donʼt do that to me.” Bai Shouyi continued to cry as she begged.

Ximen Yan ignored Bai Shouyiʼs pleas and tried to touch her body, but a white light suddenly shot out of it and hit him directly.

In an instant, the situation in that place changed. Bai Shouyi fell to the ground, and clothes already covered her body. She looked around the area in a daze before wiping away her tears. ”Have I been caught in an illusion?”
