Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 559: Four People

”Zhang Fei.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei turned to Xian Xianqin. ”Whatʼs the matter?

Xian Xianqin let out a soft sigh. ”I wanted to apologize to you for my words when I first brought you to the sect, and I really didnʼt mean it that way.”

”Forget it, okay?” Zhang Fei then raised their hands. ”If I were still thinking about your words back then, I wouldnʼt be holding your hand now. Before I met my wife and partners, I was pretty much inexperienced when it came to feelings. My first lover betrayed me with my own big brother, and they even conspired to frame me. When I first met Chu Ying and Liu Qingyu, I thought of getting them because they could help me improve my cultivation, so I used my abilities to influence them. Chu Qing fell for me immediately when she saw my little fox form, and her feelings deepened when she saw my half-fox form, making it easy for me to win her over, even without the use of my abilities. However, I started to change after I saved Liu Hua and met Hu Yue, and I learned more about feelings after I met Shen Yu.”

”I see.” Zhang Fei then led Xian Xianqin to walk again. ”Who exactly is your first love?”

”Linʼer.” Xian Xianqin was surprised at Zhang Feiʼs answer. ”At first, I didnʼt know that my feelings for her were those between a man and a woman, and we spent time like ordinary siblings. I realized my feelings for her after I met Chen Xin, and I loved her not as a little sister but as a woman. She also loved me as a man, but our blood hindered our relationship. Even so, we often took a bath together and kissed too many times, but we did it when no one was at home, so no one was aware of our relationship.”

Xian Xianqin simply nodded in understanding, making no comments about their relationship. ”Then what about your mother and elder sister? Why did you choose to take them as your wives?”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed as he rubbed the back of his head. ”Actually, I never considered taking my mother as my wife, but my anger took over me when I met her again. I was already a demon at that time, so I used my abilities on her to make her understand my anger and hatred. As for my big sister, I never knew about her feelings for me, and I only found out about it when we reunited after two years of separation. Since I already have such a relationship with my mother and Linʼer, I decided to take her as my wife. Even so, it took several months for her to accept her own feelings, and she officially became my wife on my 20th birthday.”

”Youʼre absolutely insane; do you know that?” Xian Xianqin expressed this by shaking her head. ”Youʼre probably the only person in this universe who takes all the women in your family as your wives, and you also have relationships with several mothers and daughters.”

”Hahaha.” Zhang Fei laughed in response. ”Having several mothers and daughters as my wives is highly enjoyable, especially when we engage in dual cultivation together.”

A red hue graced Xian Xianqinʼs cheeks as she imagined him engaging in dual cultivation with so many women, rendering her speechless. ”Are you still thinking about increasing your number of wives?”

”Donʼt you already know the answer, princess darling?” Zhang Fei responded in a playful tone.

ʼUgh! This shameless guy!ʼ Xian Xianqin hurriedly changed the topic of their conversation. ”Anyway, I heard from Linʼer that you have five female slaves, but Iʼve never seen them in your residence.”

”You already know why I enslaved them, right?” Xian Xianqin nodded to Zhang Fei. ”Since the five of them are my slaves, I will not place them with my wives or partners; instead, I send them to a special place to take care of the place.”

”Are you going to throw them away once you no longer need them?”

”No.” Zhang Fei replied with a shake of his head. ”I took them as my slaves for a reason, and they will continue to help me even after I become truly powerful. Apart from them, I have some female prisoners, but I have no interest in them. I only need their Qi, and I will release them once I no longer need them, but I will do something about them first before releasing them. I had numerous female enemies in the past, but they were too weak to assist me, so I killed some of them and sent some others to a demon realm.”

”What happens to those you send to a demon realm?”

”They had turned into demons, but two of them were lucky because they fell into the hands of a good demon. The other two were not as lucky as them, and they became slaves to the demons.” Xian Xianqin let out a heavy sigh after Zhang Fei said that. ”I think thatʼs enough about me for now, and I want to know a few things about you.”

”What do you want to know about me?”

Zhang Fei stopped walking and grabbed Xian Xianqinʼs shoulder. ”Have you ever been in love? Have you ever had someone you loved before?”

Zhang Feiʼs question caused Xian Xianqin to become embarrassed, but she quickly nodded and shared her story with him. ”Honestly, I have loved two people in the past; one of them was a man, and the other was a woman.”

”Let me guess, the woman is Qian Ying, right?”

”Yes.” Xian Xianqin immediately admitted it. ”Qian Ying is not only my best friend; she has been my everything in the past. Thatʼs why I regretted it when she fell into the hands of the demons, and I would never have been able to overcome it if it werenʼt for you. The man is Big Brother Aoxian, but he only regards me as a little sister, and he only loves Big Sis Yao.”

Zhang Fei was not surprised by this because the Xian and Yun Kingdoms had such a close relationship, so it was not surprising that their children were attracted to each other. ”Have you never loved a man other than Yun Aoxian?”

”No.” Xian Xianqin answered with a shake of her head. ”His rejection broke my heart, and I was no longer interested in other men after that. Qian Ying always accompanied me at that time, and I was happy to have her by my side. All the time we spent together involuntarily led me to fall in love with her, but I never expressed my feelings to her because I believed such a relationship was wrong.”

”Then, what about now? Have you started to like me?”

”Humph!” Instead, Xian Xianqin snorted and walked away, but her red face caused Zhang Fei to laugh in amusement. ʼThis guy! He should have known the answer, but he still asked that!ʼ

Zhang Fei immediately chased after Xian Xianqin and held her hand again. ”I understand that your feelings for me are still in the early stages, but I am confident that I can win your heart completely, and you will become my wife in the future.”

ʼSigh! His skin is thicker than the palace walls!ʼ After that, they walked around other areas of the tower and talked about other things to deepen their relationship.

In another area, a couple strolled hand in hand, engaging in a conversation. ”Are you serious about that, Brother? Is Zhang Fei really a demon like you?”

”Itʼs my guess, but Iʼve been thinking about it since we met.” Yuan Luo fell into contemplation after hearing that. ”All these years, no one knows my true identity, including our sect master and Emperor Xian. However, Zhang Fei was able to recognize my identity right away, even though we only met for the first time. Moreover, I felt some pressure from him during the strength test, and I noticed that the other demons also felt the same pressure. This led me to believe that he was indeed a demon, and his demon race was likely superior to ours, enabling him to suppress us.”

Yuan Luo asked him again. ”Do you think our princess and her family already know Zhang Feiʼs true identity? She is close to him, and she has clearly fallen in love with him. She is a good woman, and I donʼt want her to be controlled by him.”

”No.” Ximen Chuixue denied her guess with a shake of her head. ”Based on Princess Xianʼs expression and attitude, I am sure that she is not controlled by anything. She is in a relationship with him of her own free will, so you donʼt need to worry about her.”

”I see.” Yuan Luo then stopped and moved in front of Ximen Chuixue. ”Brother, weʼve been together for several years, and I think itʼs time for us to formalize our relationship, so I hope you can meet my parents in our Yuan Clan.”

Yuan Luoʼs request caused Ximen Chuixue to freeze in place. However, he himself realized that he had delayed their relationship for too long, mainly because he was afraid that his parents would not be able to accept his identity as a demon.

”Brother, I know your worries, but I really love you, and I want to be your wife soon.” Yuan Luo then grabbed Ximen Chuixueʼs hand. ”My parents might be shocked after learning about your identity, but Iʼm sure they will be able to accept you gradually, like me. If necessary, we can ask our master to accompany us to meet them, and Iʼm sure he can help us convince them.”

Ximen Chuixue immediately pulled Yuan Luo closer and gave her a brief kiss on the lips. ”All right, we will talk to our master after we return from this tower, and then we will go to see your parents.”

”Hehehe.” Yuan Luo laughed with satisfaction and hugged her lover directly. ”Thank you, Brother.”

Ximen Chuixue immediately hugged her back, but he suddenly sensed four powerful auras lock onto him, causing him to feel a chill down his spine. He could guess that they were demons from the two demon kingdoms assigned to guard their princes and princesses. ʼThey seemed to be aware of my identity, but I couldnʼt possibly face them alone.ʼ ”Luo ʼer, letʼs meet Zhang Fei and Princess Xian; I have something to discuss with him.”

”Letʼs go meet them.” Yuan Luo immediately broke free from Ximen Chuixueʼs embrace and pulled him toward the location of Zhang Fei and Princess Xian.

”Princess! Zhang Fei!”

Hearing Yuan Luoʼs scream, Xian Xianqin immediately pulled her hand out of Zhang Feiʼs grasp, causing him to shake his head. ”What happened? Why are you in such a hurry?”

”Brother Chui wants to speak to Zhang Fei.”

Zhang Fei raised his eyebrows when he saw Ximen Chuixueʼs expression, but he then observed the surrounding area through the map. After he discovered something, he immediately threw a device to the ground and a blurry barrier right away enveloped them, surprising the three people. ”Do you want to talk about those demons? Other people wonʼt be able to see or hear us inside this barrier, so you donʼt need to worry about them.”

”Demons?” Xian Xianqin looked at Zhang Fei in confusion.

Ximen Chuixue turned to Yuan Luo, who immediately nodded at her. After that, Ximen Chuixue returned to his demon form, shocking Xian Xianqin and causing her to stammer. ”You... you... are... a demon...”

”Youʼve seen my other form, so you donʼt have to act like this.” Zhang Fei immediately touched Xian Xianqinʼs shoulder and channeled his light Qi into her body to calm her down. ”Moreover, Brother Ximen is not an evil demon, and your master has long known his identity because he was the one who brought him to your sect.”

Xian Xianqin was even more shocked to hear Zhang Fei address her senior brother as Brother Ximen. ”Are you a member of both Ximen Demon Clans?”

”Yes.” Ximen Chuixue then told Xian Xianqin about his past from the beginning until Chao Yuanfeng rescued him. ”Since then, I have lived with our master, and you already know the rest of the story.”

”I see.” Xian Xianqin then turned to Yuan Luo, who looked relaxed about Ximen Chuixueʼs demon form. ”Have you known about his identity for a long time? Are you okay with his identity?”

”Hehehe.” Yuan Luo laughed while hugging Ximen Chuixueʼs arm. ”At first, I was shocked when I found out that he was a demon, but I had already fallen in love with him. Moreover, he had never done anything bad to me or anyone else, and he actually treated me very well. Thatʼs why I decided to accept his true identity, but it took me some time to accept him completely. What do you mean by your other identity, Zhang Fei?”

Zhang Fei just smiled and transformed into his lust demon lord form. ”As you can see, I am a demon, to be precise, a lust demon. Princess Xianqin has been aware of my demon form for the past two weeks, and her parents have been aware of it since my breakthrough into the Earth Realm.”

Xian Xianqin turned her face to the side when her sect sister looked at her with a playful smile, but Yuan Luo then walked next to Zhang Fei and looked at his demon form from top to bottom. ”No wonder you have so many wives and partners because you turned out to be a lust demon, but your demon form is much different when compared to Brother Chuiʼs phantom lynx demon form. However, your physique is definitely better than his, and you can even bounce him with a single punch.”

”Just like cultivators, demons have a hierarchy of power, and my demon rank is far above Brother Ximen because he has never lived in a demon realm.” Yuan Luo turned to Ximen Chuixue, who nodded at him. ”His cultivation has already reached the seven divine realms, but his demon rank is only knight rank, whereas my demon rank is duke rank. We demons will experience quite significant physical and strength changes every time our rank increases, and demon cultivators like us can combine our cultivation and demon rank, which will make us stronger than human cultivators.”

”What is the order of the demon ranks?” Xian Xianqin posed this question because she was unfamiliar with demons.

Zhang Fei immediately told her. ”In fact, demon ranks are almost similar to ranks in kingdoms. Lesser, knight/lady, baron/baroness, viscount/viscountess, earl/countess, marques/marchioness, duke/duchess, archduke/archduchess, king/queen, and emperor/empress.”

”I see.” Xian Xianqin nodded in understanding. ”Their ranks are similar to our ranks, but we donʼt have lesser, archduke/archduchess, and king/queen. Archduke/archduchess is replaced by prince/princess, and king/queen is replaced by crown prince/crown princess.”

”I know that.” Zhang Fei then spoke to Ximen Chuixue. ”Those envoys from both demon kingdoms seem to have noticed your identity, and they clearly intend to capture you, so you should be more careful of them. As for Senior Sister Yuan, Senior Changyue will definitely protect her, so you donʼt have to worry too much about her.”

”Can you help me fight them, Zhang Fei?”

”Ximen Yan, Ximen Hongwu, and Ximen Yueliang demon ranks are only at the marquis and marchioness ranks. Meanwhile, the demon participantsʼ demon rank is lower than theirs, and their cultivation is mostly in the quasi-divine realm. Thatʼs why Iʼm not too worried about them, and I will help you fight them if they attack us in the maze or survival challenges.” Zhang Fei paused to consider his next move before proceeding. ”However, their four guardsʼ demon rank is at the duke rank, like mine, and their cultivation is in the divine expansion realm. They will be formidable opponents for us, but fortunately, they cannot attack us while we are in the tower, allowing us to avoid them once we have completed the last challenge.”

”Youʼre right. We donʼt have to face their guards, and we can directly return to the sect using our returning jade.” Ximen Chuixue then turned to his lover. ”Luoʼer, you must stay by Senior Changyueʼs side when we go through the two challenges, okay? Zhang Fei and I will take care of those demons so they wonʼt attack you guys.”

”All right.” Yuan Luo immediately agreed, fully aware of her own strength, knowing that forcing herself to go along with them would only make her a burden.
