Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 448: Reunion

”Ziʼer, Xiaoling.” Zhang Wuji muttered softly before raising both hands. ”Zhang Fei, I have become a demon like this, so I canʼt possibly meet them again, and they will definitely be frightened by my demon form.”

With a shake of his head, Zhang Fei [4] refuted him. ”You underestimate their feelings too much, brother-in-law. I have heard stories about how you met Ziʼer and how you two got married, so I know her feelings for you are strong and deep. Xiaoling also loves you very much, and she has always respected you, so Iʼm sure they will never reject you, even if you have become a demon.

Moreover, you are a demon cultivator, and you can use the transformation technique to return to your original form, so Iʼm sure everything will be fine.”

Zhang Wuji did not refute Zhang Fei [4], but fear had already filled his heart, and he was truly afraid that his family would not be able to accept him with his current status as a demon.

Zhang Fei [4] immediately spoke to him again. ”Brother-in-law, all my wives and families know my identity as a lust demon, and they are willing to accept me even though some of them hate demons, so you donʼt have to worry about that, okay?”

Zhang Wuji just nodded and looked at the leaders of the natural races, and he could see that the female demon was being pushed back by their attacks. Even black blood had already covered her body, especially since Elmyraʼs light element was too strong and pure, and not many demons could face her head-on.

Additionally, Oliver helped the elf leader to increase her speed, and Zuhe, the druid leader, also assisted her by using the water in the black river.

”That female demon is a marchioness rank demon, but itʼs not a big deal for them.” Zhang Fei [4] immediately stood up. ”However, I canʼt just let her die like this, especially since her demon power is quite useful to me.”

After he said that, Zhang Fei [4] immediately disappeared from Zhang Wujiʼs sight, and he instantly moved behind the female demon before strangling her neck.

Seeing that, Oliver, Elmyra, and Zuhe immediately stopped attacking the female demon, waiting for Zhang Fei [4]ʼs next action.

”Please, donʼt kill me! I have no intention of killing him, and I just need a little bit of demon energy.” The female demon begged as she changed her form into a beautiful one again, and fake tears dripped from her eyes.

”Oh, really?” Zhang Fei [4] gripped the female demonʼs neck tighter. ”You might be able to deceive others with your fake tears, but you wonʼt be able to deceive me.”

”No! Argh!” The female demon screamed in pain as Zhang Fei [4] activated his demon-absorbing ability to absorb her demon power and life force. ”Argh! Please! I donʼt want to die!”

Zhang Wuji and the three leaders of the natural races took a deep breath as they watched Zhang Fei [4]ʼs cruelty, particularly as the female demonʼs body began to dry up and the skin all over her body wrinkled rapidly. This eventually led to her death, leaving only her dried skin and skeleton.

Zhang Fei [4] immediately threw the female demonʼs skeleton into the black river. ”Phew! Her demon power isnʼt bad, but itʼs not enough for me.”

”Your demon technique is terrifying, Zhang Fei.” Elmyra said so with a soft sigh. ”Can you also use that technique on other living creatures?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [4] nodded at Elmyra. ”If I use it on cultivators, not only can I absorb their soul and life force, but I can also absorb their understanding and attainment in cultivation.”

Elmyra nodded slightly in response and reminded Zhang Fei [4]. ”You should be careful in using your techniques, especially since not all techniques are without consequences, and such a technique definitely has serious consequences.

You may not be able to feel the effects now, but that doesnʼt mean there arenʼt any, and you might be able to feel them in the future, so you have to control yourself when using it.”

”Thank you for your advice, and I will be more careful in using it.” Zhang Fei then looked at Oliver and Zuhe, who were helping Zhang Wuji walk towards them. ”Since we have managed to find my brother-in-law, I will send the three of you back to the Sky Jade Realm.”

”What about Gu Tong and Chi Yang? Arenʼt you going to save them?” Oliver asked Zhang Fei [4].

Zhang Fei [4] sighed heavily at that. ”Chi Yang has already completely turned into a demon, and Gu Tong has also begun to become one. Unfortunately, they are in Alderʼs hands, and we wonʼt be able to defeat him even if we combine our strengths, which will only put us in danger.

Moreover, they are not that important to me, and Yan Zixiu is much more important because she is the big sister of one of my partners. Currently, she is in the hands of that cruel succubus, and she really likes torturing other demons, so I have to save her as quickly as possible, or she will die in her hands.”

”What about the other seniors, Zhang Fei?”

Zhang Fei [4] shook his head at Zhang Wuji. ”Meng Guanqiu told Shen Xueyi that Meng Qiʼs jade is still intact, so she should be fine. Unfortunately, Ba Jiawen and Chu Hong are dead, and they probably died in other realms because I couldnʼt find them in this realm.”

Zhang Wuji released a heavy sigh after hearing that, especially since Ba Jiawen and Chu Hong were quite strong, and their deaths were a huge loss to their realm.

”All right, you donʼt have to think about that, especially since everything has already happened, and we canʼt turn back time to save them.” A gate and portal immediately appeared in front of them after Zhang Fei [4] ordered Mei. ”This gate will lead the three of you to the Chu Clan, so you guys can go back there directly.

Brother-in-law, Ziʼer and the others will be waiting for you, so you can enter this portal to meet them.”

Unlike the three leaders of the natural races who immediately entered the gate, Zhang Wuji seemed hesitant to enter the portal. After all, all cultivators in the Sky Jade Realm, including his family, harbored deep hatred for demons, so he was truly afraid that they would reject him.

Seeing him continue like that, Zhang Fei [4] quickly put his arm around Zhang Wujiʼs shoulders and brought him directly into his training space.

”Husband!”

”Father!”

”Wuji!”

”Brother!”

As soon as they appeared, Zhang Long, Yang Yudie, Zhang Lingxue, Ziʼer, and Zhang Xiaoling immediately shouted and ran towards them.

Instead, Zhang Wuji took a few steps back once they arrived in front of him, and he also lowered his head in fear of the reality that he was about to face. However, Ziʼer did not care about her husbandʼs appearance, and she immediately jumped towards him before hugging him directly. ”Sob... Sob... Iʼm glad youʼre still alive; I donʼt know what I would do if you died.”

”Father.” Zhang Xiaoling called softly as she hugged her parents, and she cried happily, feeling the warmth of her fatherʼs body. ”Sob... Thank goodness you managed to survive, and Zhang Fei managed to bring you back to us; otherwise, we would have been miserable if you had died in that realm.”

Zhang Long immediately walked to his sonʼs side and put his hand on his shoulder. ”I understand how you feel, Wuji. No matter whether you are a human or a demon, you are still our family. Although we feel a little strange seeing you look like this now, we just need some time to adapt to the situation, and everything will be back to normal after some time.”

”Your father is right, Wuji.” Yang Yudie then hugged her sonʼs other side. ”Give us time to adapt to it, and everything will be fine as before.”

Zhang Lingxue also spoke to Zhang Wuji directly. ”Brother, you know that my husband is a demon, but weʼve never had a problem with his identity, and we completely accept him as he is. Moreover, you are not an ordinary demon but a demon cultivator, and he can teach you a transformation technique, so you can use it to return to yourself and gather with us again.”

Zhang Fei [4] directly touched Zhang Wujiʼs forehead and imparted a transformation technique to him. ”You can learn it now, brother-in-law. This way, you guys can get together again without worrying about yourself or them.”

Zhang Wuji nodded to Zhang Fei before hugging them all, and joyful tears began to flow from his eyes. However, the feelings of anxiety and fear persisted in his heart as he continued to contemplate his status as a demon.

”All right, you guys can reunite now, and I will return to the netherworld realm to find a way to save Yan Zhixiu.” Zhang Long and the others were surprised to hear that, especially since Zhang Fei [4] had previously told them that he couldnʼt find the sect master of the Yin-Yang Pavilion in that realm.

”I once checked the succubi tower, and there were several areas in that place covered by concealment barriers. At first, I couldnʼt find her because she was probably locked up in one of those areas, and I only found her today after she was taken out of the area, so I will find a way to infiltrate there to save her.”

”Husband, you better be careful when doing that, especially since the strength of the three succubi duchesses is still higher than yours.”

Zhang Fei [4] nodded to Zhang Lingxue. ”I will be careful there, and you can return to our mansion once youʼve had enough reunions with my brother-in-law.”

After that, Zhang Fei [4] immediately left them and returned to the netherworld realm, and Zhang Lingxue remained standing beside her family with a relieved expression, especially since Zhang Wuji had returned to their side.

Upon returning to the Netherworld Realm, Zhang Fei [4] immediately made his way back to the ghostveil forest. He proceeded to see Arbeola while contemplating a strategy to infiltrate the succubi tower.

”You managed to find your brother-in-law, right?” Zhang Fei [4] was not surprised by Arbeolaʼs question, especially since the old demon tree could communicate with all the trees in the realm. ”The two men are in Alderʼs hands, and they are doing well there, so you donʼt need to worry about them.

However, you must rescue the woman from Thishʼs grasp as soon as possible, as she will lose her sanity if she keeps torturing her. Your only way to enter the tower is to go to the Lust Inn to meet Xenaya, and she will help you meet Orith.”

”Oh?” Zhang Fei [4] looked at Arbeola with surprise, as he just remembered about Orith.

”Hahaha.” Arbeola laughed and told Zhang Fei [4] again. ”Xenaya had already told her about you, and Orith came here once to look for you. She even asked me to let her know when you returned, so you wouldnʼt have any trouble entering their tower if she brought you there, and the other two succubi wouldnʼt reject you.

However, Thish is very dangerous, so you have to keep an eye on her, or she will do something to you if you let your guard down.”

”In that case, Iʼll go to Lust City right now to meet Xenaya, Old Demon.”

”Wait a minute, kid.” Arbeola immediately stopped Zhang Fei [4] as he was about to leave. ”Orith is the kindest of the three, and I have known her since she first came to Lust City, so I hope you wonʼt hurt her. Ilsath is actually not bad either, but she is quite vicious even though she is not as vicious as Thish, so you can decide for yourself about her.”

”All right, Iʼll look at the situation first, Old Demon.”

In a few minutes, Zhang Fei [4] had arrived in front of the Lust Inn, but he didnʼt find Xenya there, and a maidservant told him that Orith had summoned her to the tower. He immediately decided to go there, but he also checked the mansion in the north of the city with his senses, where he found Cain together with Yu Xixuan and Lu Xin. ʼThat guyʼs back, huh?

Iʼll enter the succubi tower first, and Iʼll think of a way to meet him after.ʼ

However, Zhang Fei [4] did not immediately get the succubi tower, especially since he would not have been able to enter by himself, so he decided to wait in a restaurant-like building a little way in front of the tower and check it through his map.

He was annoyed because he found Thish still with Yan Zixiu, and he was sure that she was still torturing her, making him impatient to immediately save her.

Zhang Fei [4] then checked other areas, and he found Ilsath in the throne room talking to about 200 succubi. However, he immediately looked for Orith and discovered her in a room that looked like a warehouse, with Xenya and other succubi.

Since he didnʼt want to wait any longer, Zhang Fei [4] decided to speak to Xenaya using telepathy, which surprised the succubus. He immediately informed Orith of his return, which made the succubus duchess rush out of the place, and she followed her master behind.

Before long, Orith and Xenya had arrived in front of Zhang Fei [4], and the succubus duchess immediately squinted her eyes as she closely observed him.

Then Orith sat on a side chair, propped her chin with her hand, and spoke to Zhang Fei [4]. ”Elion, right? My subordinates have already told me a lot about you, especially about your strength in bed, and you even exhausted her when you two had sex before. Thatʼs why Iʼve been waiting for you for several days and looking forward to meeting you, so Iʼm glad youʼre back in town.”

[Hahaha! This woman is much more shameless than you, Master! She didnʼt even beat around the bush and went straight to the point with his goal of meeting you.]

Zhang Fei [4] ignored Mei and faced Orith. ”My lady, Xenaya has also told me a lot about you, so I was looking forward to meeting you. Unfortunately, you were still busy in the demon emperor city before, so I decided to go train first, and I came back today to check if you have returned.

However, you are much better than what she told me, and you still look so young; even your face is extraordinarily charming.”

Xenaya and the demons around them took a deep breath as they listened to Zhang Fei [4] speaking to Orith so casually. After all, she was one of the four leaders of their city, and her status was far above theirs, so they all always spoke to her with respect, but he spoke to her as if he had known her for a long time.

Beyond their expectations, Orith wasnʼt angry with Zhang Fei [4], but instead laughed out loud. ”Hahaha! Do I really look so young, Elion?”
