Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 424: Fighting The Enemies I

”Are you sure you want to follow the orders of a human like him?” Feng Yao immediately asked the demons from the Netherworld Realm after she saw the hesitation on their faces.

Although they knew that the people from the Shang Clan were behind Oz the 1st, they were still outsiders to them, and they would never act without the direct orders of their demon emperor because he was their sole leader.

Feng Yao smiled faintly and spoke to them again. ”To tell you the truth, the person who has been leading you all these years is not your true demon emperor, and this old man used him to impersonate your emperor.”

”What?” Yhrer and the other demons looked at Feng Yao with shock.

Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar immediately frowned at that, and he looked at his subordinates, but all of them shook their heads, as they didnʼt know how Feng Yao knew that the current demon lord was not the real one.

”Just look at their expressions.” Those demons immediately turned to Shang Huaqiang and the others, and their expressions proved that Feng Yaoʼs words were true. ”That old man held your demon emperor captive somewhere else, and he brought another demon from the upper realms to take his place.

He used a special technique to change the impostorʼs appearance and aura to be similar to your demon emperor, so you guys couldnʼt recognize the impostorʼs identity. After all, he couldnʼt invade the Sky Jade Realm on his own, so he wanted to use and sacrifice you all to accomplish it.”

”Humph!” Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar snorted and released his aura to suppress those demons, causing all of them to fall to the ground without being able to move a single finger, let alone speak. ”What can you guys do after knowing the truth? In my presence, all of you are just weaklings, and I can kill you all like ants.

If you guys still want to live, then you better obey my orders, or I will send you to hell, including your descendants.”

Shang Xishun spoke directly to Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar. ”Patriarch, I donʼt want to be presumptuous, but it would be better if you tried to find Oz the 1stʼs whereabouts first. Moreover, Feng Yao suddenly appeared in this realm out of nowhere, and there were several other mysterious people who attacked us before, but we couldnʼt sense their presence.

In fact, their cultivation was still at the ten mortal realms, but Iʼm afraid they belong to that clan, especially since they possess an item only that clan can create.”

Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar immediately released his aura, enveloped the netherworld realm, and searched for Oz the 1stʼs whereabouts. However, he was unable to detect his presence, especially since Zhang Xiaolong [3] had already sent him into the Yin-Yang space, as he was afraid that his avatar could detect him.

ʼHow is this possible? Could they really belong to that clan? Otherwise, their cultivation in the ten mortal realms would prevent them from evading my senses, but they could do so if they were wearing their items.ʼ Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar then looked at Feng Yao, who relaxedly smiled at him. ”Who are those people, Young Miss Feng? Are they part of that clan?”

”Donʼt you already have the answer to your question? Who else could create such an item other than the people from that clan?” Feng Yao calmly turned to question Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar, pointing to the item in his hand. ”In fact, I am not alone in monitoring the Sky Jade Realm; several other clans in the upper realms have sent their juniors there, and one of them is a member of that clan.”

”Hmm?” Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar thoughtfully looked at Feng Yao, but he seemed uncertain whether she was telling the truth or bluffing, especially since he had been preparing her plan for hundreds of years.

Moreover, none of the clans in the upper realms had interfered in the demonsʼ invasion of the Sky Jade Realm in the past, but the item in his hand was enough to convince him that her words were true. ʼDamn it! Their presence gives me a headache! What should I do now?

If they really sent their juniors to protect the realm, then my clan will be in trouble if they report this matter to their seniors, and they will definitely come to me to demand accountability.”

The heretics had already arrived in an area slightly far from the demon cave, but Pang Xiuwen and the others immediately stopped moving as soon as they sensed something unusual in the area, and observed the surrounding area using their senses.

Gu Changsheng immediately released several Gu insects to help them check the situation, but they disobeyed his orders and moved in other directions instead. Naturally, he was aware of their actions due to his sisterʼs influence, prompting him to issue a warning to the others. ”Be careful! Jinglin seems to be under Zhang Feiʼs control, and she is using her Gu insects to lure my Gu insects to her.”

”How could she do that?” Pang Wachun asked, as he didnʼt have much knowledge about Gu insects.

”Just like humans, Gu insects are also born in pairs. My insects are male, and Jinglinʼs insects are female, so she uses them to fish for mine.” After saying that, Gu Changsheng immediately moved to follow his Gu insects, as he was sure that they would lead him to Gu Jinglinʼs hiding location.

”Wife! Letʼs follow our ancestors.” The patriarch of the Gu Clan, Gu Kaizhi, spoke to the middle-aged woman beside him, who was none other than Mo Xingqing, before they moved to follow Gu Changsheng.

”Shall we follow them?” Xie Fanjing, the patriarch of the Xie clan, asked them.

”No need.” Xie Zhengwu rejected Xie Fanjingʼs idea immediately before pointing towards the demon cave. ”Our main task is the demon portal, and the seal is broken now, so we should hurry there to wait for the demons from that realm to come here.”

”I agree with you, Uncle Zhengwu.” Mo Changqiong, the Mo clanʼs patriarch, said with a nod. ”Moreover, Lan Tze and the others have already managed to immobilize Chang Wuhen and the others, so no one will get in our way, and we will immediately attack those clans as soon as the demons arrive.”

Mo Fengyi and the others agreed with that, but several huge fireballs suddenly rained down on them from the sky. However, those fireballs were not a significant obstacle for them, and they could easily counter them, but many questions were raised in their minds as they prepared for further attacks.

”It seems that the righteous cultivators already know about our actions, brother.” Pang Wachun spoke to Pang Xiuwen.

Pang Xiuwen nodded slightly as he released the demon miasma that he had kept in his body for a long time, followed by Pang Wachun and the other ancestors. They spread it as far as possible so that the righteous cultivators would not dare to approach them directly. ”Letʼs go! We have to arrive at the demon portal as soon as possible!

However, we have to be careful, especially since we donʼt know their numbers.”

Several more fireballs immediately rained down on them enough again, followed by a strong earthquake, causing them to lose their balance. Despite this, their strength as cultivators prevented them from being significantly affected, and they quickly stabilized themselves to counter the fireballs.

Suddenly, four tornadoes assaulted them from four distinct directions, dispersing their demon miasma as the wind swept it away. However, Pang Xiuwen and the others immediately released their demon miasma again, preventing the sudden attack from the righteous cultivators.

The heretics did not have time to catch their breath because two huge sword formations suddenly appeared in the sky above them, which were the actions of Su Qingshi and Yang Ye, the elders of the Heavenly Sword Sect.

However, those two and the others didnʼt dare approach those heretics, especially since they already knew the horror of their demon miasmaʼs effects. They didnʼt want to be exposed by it, so they used long-range attacks to attack them.

In an instant, countless Qi swords descended from the two sword formations, and they exerted quite a strong pressure on those people, forcing the heretics to spread further away from each other.

Those Qi swords immediately changed their trajectory and shot towards the heretics, but those attacks were not too difficult for their ancestors, especially since their cultivation had already reached 1 to 3 Star Sovereign Realm while the cultivation of the two sword masters was only at the Heaven Realm.

The situation was different with Mo Changqiong and the juniors, who appeared overwhelmed to repel those Qi swords, especially considering their cultivations at the Heaven Realm, like Su Qingshi and Yang Ye.

Even so, they were lucky because their seniors immediately helped them by repelling the Qi swords, so they could breathe a little easier.

Xie Zhengwu narrowed his eyes in a specific direction upon seeing something, instantly transforming into a shadow and moving away from the other heretics. However, Xie Fanjing immediately brought his wife, Lai Rouyu, to join him.

”Damn it! Why did he get provoked by them? They-” Mo Fengyi had not finished his words, but a huge wave of wind suddenly blew him and his clan members away. After that, several strong wind walls appeared between them and the other clans, and these wind walls suddenly moved towards them. Several Qi swords suddenly appeared and moved towards them, forcing them to retreat. ”Fuck!

Xiuwen! They intend to separate us! It would be better if we took care of these rats first!”

After that, Mo Fengyi led his clan members to escape to another area, and he also ordered them to be aware of their surroundings.

”What if we both move straight to the demon cave, brother?” Pang Wachun questioned Pang Xiuwen as he looked toward the cave in a distant way.

Pang Xiuwen immediately agreed with that. ”They donʼt seem to have any intention of attacking us because of our demon miasma, so weʼll move there right away. However, Iʼm sure there are a lot of them waiting for us, so weʼll use that technique to destroy them.”

”All right!” Both of them quickly flew toward the demon cave.

”Hmm?” Gu Changsheng, Gu Kaizhi, and Mo Xingqing frowned as they arrived at another area. They saw Gu Jinglin standing in her spot, surrounded by many Gu insects, so they immediately stopped and looked around them.

Gu Changsheng then questioned his sister. ”Why did you do this, Jinglin? Why did you betray us? Has Zhang Fei done anything to you?”

”Iʼm sorry, brother.” Gu Jinglin apologetically replied to him. ”Youʼre right, Zhang Fei did do something to me. Although he didnʼt brainwash me, my life and will are no longer mine, and I canʼt go against his orders.”

After she said that, Gu Jinglin immediately ordered the Gu insects to attack Gu Changsheng, but her action was of little use because they had the same abilities, so their fight was completely equal.

Gu Kaizhi and Mo Xingqing wanted to help Gu Changsheng, but Pang Gui and Pang Hong suddenly appeared and blocked them, and they attacked the two people from the Gu Clan, causing a fight between them to immediately break out.

Pang Gui directly engaged Gu Kaizhi, especially since their cultivation was equal, and their fight quickly became more intense, causing things around them to be destroyed by their fight.

Meanwhile, Pang Hong moved to attack Mo Xingqing, but she had a hard time because her strength was slightly above hers, and she was repeatedly pushed back by her attacks.

The people from the eastern region suddenly moved in to assist them, quickly turning their situation around. Liang Xian led people from the desolate sect to help Gu Jinglin deal with Gu Changsheng.

On the other hand, Luo Yigang assisted Pang Hong in fighting Mo Xingqing, and the combined attacks of the two of them overwhelmed her, resulting in her body being covered in wounds.

Pang Gui and Gu Kaizhiʼs previously balanced battle turned around, leaving the patriarch of the Gu Clan under pressure after Dong Fuxiang joined Zhang Feiʼs slave to attack him.

Since they continued to receive excessive pressure, which made their position even more desperate, Gu Changsheng immediately moved towards his two juniors and brought them away. He immediately summoned several Gu insects from within his body, and those insects swiftly rushed at them.

However, Gu Jinglin also did the same, especially since her Gu insects were the counter to her brotherʼs Gu insects, and she also threw several bottles at the cultivators from the eastern region. ”Drink them now!”

Actually, they were hesitant to drink it, but they remembered that Gu Jinglin was already under Zhang Feiʼs control, so they immediately drank it clean.

*Buzz.. Buzz... Buzz...*

All of them quickly heard the sound of the battle between Gu Changsheng and Gu Jinglinʼs Gu insects, but they were unable to see the insectsʼ forms due to their small size, so they relied on their senses to detect them.

Zhang Fei, who was still inside the cave in an invisible state, touched the barrier that sealed its mouth. ʼThis barrier is too strong, so I canʼt possibly break it. I donʼt know if the natural races can do it, but I hope they can destroy it before the demons come here.ʼ

Since he couldnʼt leave the cave, and the barrier also blocked sound transmission, Zhang Fei used his first clone to inform Oliver and the others about it, and he asked them to think of a way to destroy the barrier.

After that, Zhang Fei squatted down beside Chang Wuhen and the others, and he put a peak-grade healing pill into their mouths one by one without Lan Tze and the others knowing, which they immediately swallowed. ʼI will release the seal on your cultivation, so you guys can stabilize your injuries, especially since those demons will be coming to this realm soon.

However, you must immediately suppress your auras, lest these traitors become suspicious and attack you again.ʼ

None of them answered Zhang Fei, but they immediately suppressed their auras and cultivation as strong as possible once he released the seal on their cultivation, and they began to stabilize their injuries.

ʼPhew.ʼ Zhang Fei let out a sigh of relief and walked towards the demon portal. ʼThe only way to stop those demons is to destroy this portal, but they must work and attack it together.ʼ

[If they all work together, they should be able to destroy this portal, master. However, this portal is no ordinary portal, especially since it can connect two realms that are so far apart from each other, so Iʼm sure there will be a strong backlash if they destroy it, and it might even kill them instantly.]

Zhang Fei nodded in agreement and frowned, but he then looked at the traitors, who were eagerly awaiting the return of the demons to the Sky Jade Realm. Suddenly, he remembered something, and a slight smirk appeared on his face.
