Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 427: Destroy The Portal

”Kid, can you take us out of this cave?” Meng Qi questioned Zhang Fei.

”Unfortunately, the sealing portal restricts all kinds of things, and I canʼt use my abilities under its restrictions, so I canʼt take you all out.” Zhang Fei then touched the demon portal. ”At first, I thought of taking you to the netherworld realm before returning to this realm again, but we canʼt pass through this portal without the key, and only demons can enter and exit.”

”What do you think will happen if we destroy this portal?” This time, it was Gu Tong who asked Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei shook his head in response. ”I canʼt answer that, so we should prepare for risks.”

Chang Wuhen and the others looked thoughtful after hearing that, and they thought it would be fine if they died as long as their realm and younger generations could live in peace, just like what their ancestors did for them in the past, so they immediately made up their minds. ”Letʼs do it!

”No matter what happens to us, we have to destroy this demon portal to ensure the safety of this realm and all its inhabitants.”

Zhang Fei led them away from the demon portal, but he ordered Pang Xiuwen and the traitors to line up in front of it. Additionally, he took out an item that Mei had prepared for him, and it immediately formed a transparent shield after he threw it to the ground.

”I donʼt know if this will be enough to protect us, but this is the best item I have right now, and all of you should use all your strength to protect yourselves.”

”What about you, kid?” Zhang Long inquired as he and the other senior cultivator enveloped their bodies in qi.

”Father-in-law, I know your worries, but you really donʼt need to worry about me. Moreover, I have promised Lingxue and the others to take good care of myself, so I wonʼt let them down.” Zhang Fei then ordered his slaves. ”Get ready! Use all your strength to destroy the demon portal! If your strength is insufficient, then each of you must detonate your cultivation cores.”

Pang Xiuwen and the others stiffened after hearing Zhang Feiʼs order, but his demon slave mark in their souls forced them to obey his orders, so they immediately released their power to the maximum and waited for his signal.

”Hmm?” Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar and the members of the Shang Clan frowned upon seeing the giant demonʼs hand neatly cut off. They believed that the people from the Sky Jade Realm should not be able to hurt him, especially since his demon rank was at the archduke rank.

Feng Yao smiled at their reaction, and she tried to instill doubts in them. ”As I previously mentioned, there are some young cultivators from the upper realms in the Sky Jade Realms, and we have a good relationship with them. Although we are not directly involved in their affairs, we will still help them indirectly.

That giant demon is indeed strong in the lower and middle realms, but he is still not our opponent. To tell you the truth, our seniors are already aware of the demon portal and the previous demon invasion, and some of them may have even informed them that you and your clan were responsible for that invasion.

Whether you continue with your plan or choose to become an enemy of many cultivators, the choice is yours now. We wonʼt directly attack your clan because you havenʼt yet invaded that realm. However, we can excommunicate your clan from our circle and restrict the flow of all resources to your realm, which will negatively impact everyone in your realm.”

ʼThis little bitch! How dare she threaten me! If I hadnʼt been afraid of her parents and ancestors, I would have killed her by now!ʼ Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar inwardly grumbled as he glared fiercely at Feng Yao, but he then snorted and ordered those demons. ”Go! Attack that realm now!”

Feeling threatened by the aura of Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar, the demons immediately moved towards the portal, led by the demons at King and Queen rank.

Just as several demons were about to enter the portal, Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar, the people of the Shang Clan, and Feng Yao suddenly felt many strong auras radiate from behind the portal.

”Shit! Back off!” Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar immediately shouted at the demons, but his warning was a few seconds too late as the aura emanating from the portal grew stronger and stronger.

Feng Yao released a heavy sigh in her heart as she realized the intentions of the cultivators from the Sky Jade Realm. ʼThey intend to commit suicide to destroy the demon portal, huh? Sigh! Iʼve lived with them for quite some time, so it would be a shame if they had to die. Unfortunately, they have no other choice but to do so, so they can stop the demon invasion of this realm for now and forever.ʼ

The expressions of Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar and the members of the Shang Clan turned gloomy after they realized the intentions of the cultivators from the Sky Jade Realm, and they all hurriedly moved away from the portal, especially since the effects would be extremely detrimental if they were affected by its destruction.

Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar rushed to free Feng Yao, who immediately flew away from the area, but she continued to pay attention to the portal from a distance. She was a little surprised when someone touched her shoulder, but she immediately realized that it was Zhang Xiaolong [3], and a relieved smile appeared on her face after he told her about the situation inside the demon cave.

The portal suddenly shook violently, and the shaking could even be felt by the demons, who were running away from that location. A few seconds later, the portal glowed brightly before exploding, creating a powerful shockwave that threw them all back.

”Fuck!” Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar cursed loudly as he watched all the plans he had made for hundreds of years crumble in the blink of an eye. The members of his clan also reacted the same way as him, especially since creating a portal that connected two distant realms required an exorbitant cost, and the resources used were also quite rare, so they wouldnʼt be able to create another one anytime soon.

A black hole suddenly appeared from the former portalʼs location, sucking in everything around that area, causing many demons at marquis or marchioness rank and below to be sucked into it. The demons at duke or duchess rank and above can still defend themselves from being sucked into it.

Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar immediately protected the people of his clan to avoid it, and Feng Yao also returned to her beast form as she flapped her two wide wings to resist the suction of the black hole.

In the Sky Jade Realm, the demon cave began to collapse after Pang Xiuwen and those traitors detonated their cultivation cores, but Chang Wuhen and the others immediately blew away all the rubble, and the destruction of the demon portal caused throughout a loud explosion that was heard in the northern region, shocking the righteous cultivators outside.

The suicide of Zhang Feiʼs slaves and the portal explosion had destroyed his shield, leaving them without any protection other than their qi.

The black hole also appeared at the spot where the demon portal had been, and it immediately sucked in everything in the area, including the cultivators and the cave ruins.

Chang Wuhen and the others immediately took out their respective weapons and stabbed them to the ground to prevent themselves from being sucked into the black hole. They also unleashed their strength to the fullest to fight back against the suction.

”Hang on!” Zhang Fei shouted at them as he transformed into his complete fox form, shocking Chang Wuhen and the others. He immediately stood in front of them, extended his five tails in several directions, and tied them to the rocks in the surrounding area.

Additionally, he sent a voice transmission to all the righteous cultivators, warning them to flee as far as possible, lest the black hole swallow them. ʼShit! If only the sealing formation was destroyed, I could take them away from this place directly. Unfortunately, the explosions couldnʼt destroy it.ʼ

Gradually, as the black hole expanded, the suction grew stronger and stronger, making it increasingly difficult for Zhang Fei and the others to resist it. The senior cultivatorsʼ expressions darkened as the black hole continued to draw them forward, and their Qi rapidly drained as they struggled to defend themselves. ʼDamn it! We canʼt hold out much longer!

If it continues to expand, it will definitely suck us in!ʼ

”Crap!” Zhang Fei cursed as his five tails were loosed on the rocks, causing him to be sucked towards the black hole. However, he immediately extended his tails to the end of the cave, and he also stabbed both of his claws into the ground.

”Zhang Fei!” Zhang Long and the others shouted loudly after seeing that.

Unfortunately, some of them could no longer resist the suction, and their grip on their weapons immediately loosened before they shot towards the black hole. Those people immediately collided with Zhang Fei, and all of them got sucked into the black hole.

”Shit!” Chang Wuhen and the others were shocked to see that, but they themselves found it increasingly difficult to hold back. The suction of the black hole immediately pulled them in one by one, and they seemed resigned to their fate. However, the black hole suddenly disappeared, and all of them immediately fell to the ground.

*Crumble... Crumble...*

”Move!” Di Xiong shouted as she used his last strength to dodge the cave debris that fell from above, and the other cultivators immediately followed suit, moving sideways to avoid them, leaving a huge hole above the cave.

”Damn it!” Chang Wuhen cursed as she stood up and then turned to the remaining people. The black hole swallowed Zhang Fei, Chu Hong, Ba Jiawen, Yan Zixiu, Meng Qi, Gu Tong, Zhang Wuji, and Chi Yan.”

”What do you think will happen to them?” Di Xiong posed the question with a somber expression.

Zhang Long immediately took out a jade that belonged to his son, Zhang Wuji. ”Wuji is still alive; they should all be alive. However, we donʼt know where the black hole took them, but I hope they can survive and return to us.”

Liu Rong and Liu Ming looked gloomy, especially since Chu Hong and Zhang Fei were their relatives, and their wives would definitely be sad if they heard about their fate.

Ye Yuan then spoke to them. ”Since the demon portal connects our realm directly with the netherworld realm, I believe the black hole might send them there. If that is true, Zhang Fei should be able to escape easily, and I am sure that he can find them and bring them back.”

”No matter what, we must convey their situation to their respective families.” Shen Wansan then looked at the hole above the cave. ”My daughter will probably be sad if she finds out that Zhang Fei was sucked into the black hole, so I will go to her immediately to tell her about this matter.”

”Yeah, I also have to tell Ziʼer and Xiaoling about this matter, so letʼs go out.” and meet them now.” Zhang Long then flew out of the hole above them, and most of them followed him.

On the other hand, Chang Wuhen still stood in her spot as she stared at the spot where the demon portal used to be. ʼAncestors, the demon portal is gone now, so your sacrifices are not in vain, and those demons will not be able to invade our realm again. However, our realm is not completely safe, especially since there are people who are ambitious to invade our realm, and they are too strong for us.

Even so, we will never give up, and we will continue to improve ourselves to protect this realm from them.ʼ

When they arrived outside, the righteous cultivators were already waiting for them. However, many of them immediately became anxious, especially since their families were not there.

Meng Guanqiu inquired directly. ”Seniors, where is Big Sis Meng Qi? Why isnʼt she with you?”

”Fahter-in-law, where is my husband?” Ziʼer also questioned Zhang Long.

”What about Big Sis Yan Zixiu, seniors? Did something happen to her and the others?” Yan Luanʼer asked them after she couldnʼt find her big sister.

Although she couldnʼt find Chu Hong among them, Liu Qingyu did not look the least bit anxious. After all, Zhang Feiʼs clone was still around, and nothing bad had happened to him. He had already told her about the events in the demon cave and the black hole, so she was sure that he and her husband were still alive.

Shen Xueyi and Shen Yu also seemed relaxed about Zhang Feiʼs disappearance, especially since they knew his abilities very well, so they were sure that he would return to their side soon.

”Qingyu.” Liu Rong called out as she and Liu Ming landed in front of Liu Qingyu. ”Zhang Fei and your husband, they-”

”I already know, mother.” Liu Qingyu interrupted Liu Rong. ”Zhang Feiʼs clones did not disappear, so he and the others are still alive now. However, he doesnʼt know the location of his real body now, so he and the others are likely still trapped inside the black hole.”

”Are they really fine, Qingyu?” Meng Guanqiu, Yan Luanʼer, and Ziʼer asked at the same time.

”Yes.” Liu Qingyu then turned her head away. ”Currently, two of Zhang Feiʼs clones are leading Huaʼer and the others to exterminate those heretic clans, so Iʼm sure they are fine. However, we canʼt do anything now, and we can only pray for their safety while waiting for them to return to our side.”

Meng Guanqiu, Yan Luanʼer, and Ziʼer let out heavy sighs and nodded to Liu Qingyu, but they couldnʼt shake off the unease in their hearts, so their eyes continued to look towards the demon cave, which had become an ordinary cave now.

Shen Wansan, who had just landed in front of Shen Xueyi and Shen Yu, immediately asked his daughter. ”Arenʼt you worried about Zhang Fei, Yuʼer?”

”What should I worry about him, father?” Shen Yu asked back as she smiled. ”As Aunt Qingyu said just now, my husband is fine, and he is only trapped inside the black hole now. Moreover, I am quite familiar with his abilities, so I am sure that he can get out of that place soon and return to me.”

”I see.” Shen Wansan nodded in understanding before turning to Shen Xueyi, and he immediately noticed the change in his partner. However, he chose not to comment on that issue, especially since their relationship from the start was not based on feelings, and their relationship was just a mutually beneficial relationship for each other.

However, Shen Xueyi immediately told Shen Wansan the truth through voice transmission. ʼYou must have noticed, right? Iʼve chosen Zhang Fei as my new partner, so weʼre no longer partners.ʼ

Shen Wansan only smiled and nodded at Shen Xueyi, but he then turned to Shen Huang and Shen Xinya, who were standing behind the two women. ʼTheyʼve also become Zhang Feiʼs partners, huh?ʼ

Chang Wuhen then spoke to them. ”We canʼt do anything to help them, but we can help Zhang Feiʼs clones and the others to get rid of those heretic clans, so letʼs all go after them now.”
