Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 435: Sorrow In The Chu Clan

*Crack... Crack...*

In a dungeon, the sound of whipping continued to resound, and a middle-aged woman hung naked on a wooden crossbar with an expression full of pain. Whip wounds covered her body, causing her blood to drip down from her body to the floor.

In front of the middle-aged woman, a female demon with straight black hair, two horns on the side of her head, and two pink wings on her back was enjoying whipping her with a leather whip that had a barbed tip.

The middle-aged woman was none other than Yan Zixiu, the sect master of the Yin-Yang Pavilion. She continued to gaze at the female demon, her vision blurring due to the extreme pain her actions had caused. ʼUgh! My luck is really bad! I immediately fell into the hands of this vile female demon as soon as I arrived in this realm!ʼ

*Crack... Crack...*

”Hiss.” Yan Zixiu groaned in pain as the barbed tip tore her skin, causing her blood to flow even more. Even so, the female demon did not stop torturing her, and she became even more eager to torture her after seeing her painful expression. ”Hiss.”

In front of their room, there was a female demon with ocean blue hair, whose hands and feet were tied by chains to the corners of the room. A blindfold concealed her eyes, while a ball gagged her mouth. Her face is quite attractive and charming, with a slim, straight nose combined with wide and thick lips.

She has a tall figure covered in a thin blue dress, a long and slim neck, a slim waist with wide hips, and her breasts are perfectly round even though they are not very big.

Unlike Yan Zixiu, the female demon with ocean blue hair looked fine even though she was in such a situation, and there were almost no injuries on her body except for her wrists and ankles.

ʼI donʼt understand how that female human could appear in this realm, but she was truly unlucky to fall into the hands of that crazy female demon, who wonʼt stop torturing her until she goes insane. Sigh!

I shouldnʼt have thought about that female humanʼs condition, especially since my own situation is still like this, and those three succubi duchesses have locked me up here for years or maybe decades.

My parents must think that Iʼm dead by now, especially since Iʼve been missing for so long.ʼ The female demon with ocean blue hair suddenly heard two footsteps, and she knew the owners of both very well, especially since she had been there for too long.

ʼEven though theyʼve locked me up here for so long, these two are still much better than their crazy friend, and they never torture other demons like that crazy sucubus.ʼ

The two succubi immediately entered Yan Zixiuʼs prison room, and one of them shouted at the succubus who was torturing him. ”Hey, Thish! You better stop torturing that human woman! Otherwise, she will die, and we will lose her life essence!”

”Hmm?” Thish immediately turned to them before asking in annoyance. ”Why are you bothering me, Orith? Didnʼt you have that dog demon to keep you company?”

”Nah! He can accompany me, but heʼs already turned into a demon and canʼt give us life essence anymore, so I donʼt want you to make this female human die.” Orith replied as she walked towards Yan Zixiu. ”Look at her; sheʼs already fallen unconscious as a result of your torture, and sheʼll die for real if you keep torturing her, so you should stop now.”

”You should listen to Orith.” Thish immediately turned to the other succubus, named Ilsath. ”We donʼt have many opportunities to obtain human life essence, so I donʼt want to miss out just because he died in your hands. Furthermore, she will eventually turn into a demon, so you can torture her again at that time.”

”Humph!” Thish snorted coldly and immediately left Yan Zixiuʼs room, but she then looked at the female demon with ocean blue hair, eager to torture her.

”Forget about her! You will bring trouble for us if she dies, especially since she came from one of the demon realms in the upper realm like that impostor demon emperor.” Thish did not say anything to answer them and hurriedly left the dungeon. Orith then took a bottle from her pocket, opened Yan Zixiuʼs mouth, poured the liquid into it, and forced her to swallow it.

”This liquid will keep this female human alive, but it will turn her into a demon faster.”

Ilsath nodded to Orith as she supported her chin and watched Yan Zixiu with a curious look. ”This female human suddenly appeared in our tower, just like those previous humans. Fortunately, she appeared in this dungeon, and the barier could conceal everything from outside. Otherwise, Yhrer would have noticed her presence and snatched her from us, and it will be a loss for us.

Anyway, do you still want to have fun with that dog demon?”

”That dog demon is too weak, so I donʼt want to have fun with him anymore. Moreover, Iʼve already given him to our subordinates, so they can use him to their heartʼs content.” Orith then walked out of Yan Zixiuʼs room.

”Anyway, Iʼm going to the Lust Hotel to meet Xenaya, especially since I heard that a wild incubus stayed there for the past few days, but he had no intention of joining the Incubus Tower, so Iʼm a little curious about his identity.”

”Haha.” Ilsath laughed softly in response. ”Do you think I donʼt know your character? You must be planning to bring that wild incubus with you, right?”

Orith didnʼt hide it and nodded to Ilsath. ”Since he didnʼt want to join Yhrer, so I thought he might be different from those incubi in the tower, especially since all the incubus always admired that stupid incubus lord, and they always had the ambition to join them.”

”Have fun then.” After Orith left, Ilsath went straight to the room of the female demon with the ocean blue hair, and she removed the ball from her mouth. ”I didnʼt expect you to be so strong, especially with your demon strength far surpassing mine and my sistersʼ. Weʼve locked you in this dungeon for decades, but you still havenʼt been willing to tell us about your identity or your origin realm.”

The female demon snorted at Ilsath. ”Do you think a lowly demon like you deserves to know my identity? The three of you managed to capture me only because I was in a weak state, and you guys ganged up on me.”

”Whatever.” Ilsath promptly stuffed the ball back into the female demonʼs mouth. ”If I werenʼt afraid that your family would find out about your whereabouts in our realm, I would have killed you long ago. Since I canʼt kill you, I will let you rot to death in this dungeon, and your family will never know that you are in this realm.”

After Ilsath left the room, the female demon released a sigh into her heart. ʼIf I manage to escape from this place one day, I will definitely beat up the three of you, especially that crazy succubus.ʼ

Zhang Fei [4], who was sitting on one of Arbeolaʼs branches, kept looking at his map and trying to locate the senior cultivatorsʼ whereabouts. After all, the Netherworld Realm was much larger than the Sky Jade Realm, and the number of demons inhabiting it was also much greater than that realmʼs inhabitants.

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei [4] suddenly frowned after Liu Hua told him about Chu Hongʼs death. ”Damn it! I didnʼt expect that he was dead!”

Arbeola looked at Zhang Fei and asked, ”What happened, Kid?”

Zhang Fei [4] sighed heavily and answered Arbeola directly. ”One of my wives just told me that my father-in-law is dead, but I canʼt find his name in this realm, so he probably ended up in another realm and died there. Moreover, I havenʼt managed to find the others either, so I donʼt know if they ended up in this realm or another realm.”

”Speaking of those people, I just got news from the trees in other regions.” Zhang Fei [4] immediately looked down at Arbeola. ”They found three human males in other areas.”

”What?” Zhang Fei [4] immediately jumped down and faced Arbeola. ”Where are they now, Old Demon? I must save them quickly and bring them back to my realm, or they will turn into demons.”

”Alder brought one of them to Black Moon City, so the man should be in there now.” Zhang Fei [4] frowned after Arbeola mentioned the wolf kingʼs name. ”One of them is quite far from that city—in the swamp forest, to be precise.

The last one is in the western region, around the Black River, but you seem to be too late because he has started to turn into a demon, especially since he ate some demon plants and mushrooms.”

Zhang Fei [4] immediately checked the Black Moon City first, and he found Gu Tong there with Alder by his side. After that, he checked the swamp forest area, where he found Chi Yang hiding from the demon beasts. However, he didnʼt really care about them, and he was more worried about the others, so he immediately looked for the black river in the eastern region. ”Shit! Old demon!

Iʼm going to the western region now! That guy is my brother-in-law!”

After Zhang Fei [4] disappeared from his sight, Arbeola let out a soft sigh, and he immediately contacted the demon trees around the black river to protect Zhang Wuji. ”I know how you feel, but youʼre too late, Kid. You wonʼt be able to stop your brother-in-law from turning into a demon, especially since it took you several days to get there.”

Zhang Fei [1] looked relieved once Yan Luanʼer showed him Yan Zixiuʼs jade, especially since it was still intact and shining even though it was a bit dim, which meant that she was still alive.

Even so, Yan Luanʼer still couldnʼt calm down because Zhang Fei [1] still hadnʼt managed to find her big sisterʼs whereabouts, and she would turn into a demon if she ended up in a demon realm like the three men. ”Fei, please-.”

”I know. I will try to find Yan Zixiu as soon as possible.” Zhang Fei [1] then asked Shen Xueyi. ”What about Meng Guanqiu?”

”Meng Qiʼs jade is still intact, and its light is brighter than Yan Zixiuʼs, so her situation is much better than hers. Even so, you must find her as soon as possible, or she will not be able to return here because she turned into a demon.” Zhang Fei [1] nodded in agreement with Shen Xueyi, but unfortunately, he could not find the names of the two women in the Netherworld Realm.

”However, I did not expect that Chu Hong would be dead, and we still do not know the whereabouts of Ba Jiawen.”

”Ba Jiawen is dead.” Shen Xueyi and the others turned to Zhang Fei [1], who immediately told them again. ”Su Qingshi and Yang Ye have just arrived at the Chu Clan, and they told us that his jade has shattered, so he is dead now.”

All of them took a deep breath after hearing that, especially since Ba Jiawen was one of the strongest, and he was the sect master of the Heavenly Sword Sect, so his death was detrimental to the sect and their realm.

Shen Wansan sighed heavily before speaking to them. ”The deaths of Chu Hong and Ba Jiawen are truly disappointing, but their deaths were not in vain because the demon portal is now destroyed, and our realm can have peace for at least a while. As for us, we are still alive now, and we must work hard to build up our strength even more.

That way, we can ward off those who want to invade this realm again in the future, and none of our people will fall victim like them and our ancestors.”

”Fei, send me and Zihua there so we can focus on our training, and I want to help you find my big sister.” Zhang Fei [1] first sent Shen Xueyi and Shen Yu to the Chu Clan, especially since his other wives were already there to comfort Liu Qingyu and the three Chu Sisters, who were sad because of Chu Hongʼs death.

After that, he brought Yan Luanʼer and Xi Zihua into the training space, leaving Shen Wansan behind.

Shen Wansan himself immediately left the main hall and went to his private quarters, where he began his isolation, especially since the deaths of Chu Hong and Ba Jiawen weighed heavily on his heart.

Although she had begun to forget Chu Hong because of her relationship with Zhang Fei, he was still her husband and the father of their three daughters, so Liu Qingyu was saddened by his death. Tears continued to flow from her tired eyes, and Liu Hua kept hugging her while rubbing her back.

The three Chu Sistersʼ feelings were also the same as their mother; they were devastated after learning of their fatherʼs death. Liu Rong and Liu Ming repeatedly sighed at the sight, and they tried to comfort the three by hugging them, but they were completely lost in their sadness.

Chu Liuxiangʼs face looked pale, and Yuan Manqiu continued to cry in his arms. After all, Chu Hong was their son, and hearing about his death was the saddest thing for them.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei stood in front of the main hall, looking up at the sky, and not a single word came out of his mouth; his two fists remained tightly clenched. Liu Qingyuʼs and the three Chu Sistersʼ heartbreaking cries cut his heart like a dagger, especially since he had promised to bring Chu Hong back to them. But what happened was the opposite: he died in the unknown realm. ʼFuck me!

I always said I would never make them all sad, but my weakness made the four of them sad like that.ʼ

Zhang Chen, who was watching his grandson and the others from a distance, let out a soft sigh in her heart as she understood his feelings. She then walked over to Zhang Fei, stood by his side, and embraced him.

Zhang Fei immediately embraced Zhang Chenʼs waist and hugged his grandmother tightly. ”Iʼm useless, grandma. Iʼve made Qingyu, Yingʼer, Xingʼer, and Qingʼer sad because of Chu Hongʼs death.”

”Feiʼer, I know you are disappointed because you didnʼt manage to save Chu Hong.” Zhang Chen then lifted her grandsonʼs face and cupped his cheeks. ”Moreover, you already know the fact that the space rift sent him to the unknown realm, and you donʼt have the ability to find him, so I hope you donʼt keep blaming yourself or wallowing in disappointment.

Instead, you must focus on saving the remaining senior cultivators, especially the three in the Netherworld Realm, and bring them back to their families.”
