Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 425: Fighting The Enemies II

ʼBack then, I thought about using this on Shen Haoran and his loyalists, but I decided not to, so Iʼll use it on them now.ʼ Zhang Fei muttered as he took out a stalk of the desert nightshade herb that Zefyr had found in the eastern region. ʼHmm? What should I do, Mei? The effects of burning these herbs will also affect Liu Rong and the others.ʼ

[Master, the only way is to injure them a little, and you can crush this herb into powder before sprinkling it on their wounds, so Liu Rong and the others wonʼt be affected by its effects. However, it would be better if you didnʼt kill them and instead used them for something more important, such as destroying this demon portal.

That way, people in this realm no longer need to worry about the invasion of demons, and you can also live more peacefully with your family.]

ʼYeah, youʼre right. This portal is too powerful, so I will use them as sacrifices to destroy it.ʼ Zhang Fei stored the herbs again before walking behind the senior cultivators, and he immediately conveyed his plan to them. ʼSeniors, I have a way to get rid of these traitors, but I canʼt do it by myself, and I need your help to fight them.

I know that you guys havenʼt fully recovered yet, but I will help you to distract them. However, I donʼt want you to kill them just so I can use them for something else.ʼ

Chang Wuhen and the others wondered about Zhang Feiʼs plan, but they knew that they didnʼt have much time, especially since the demons from the netherworld realm could attack them at any time, so they immediately agreed with him.

After they agreed, Zhang Fei immediately used the plant generation ability to create several types of plants, one of which was man-eater plants.

”What the hell? Where do these plants come from?” Lan Tze and the others exclaimed in shock as the plants attacked them, but they immediately destroyed them.

*Slash... Slash...*

However, as Zhang Fei continued to use his abilities to create them, those plants continued to appear endlessly. The senior cultivators immediately opened their eyes, and Chang Wuhen turned to the others, who nodded slightly as a sign of understanding. Even though they had not fully recovered from their injuries, they immediately released their maximum strength and rushed to attack the traitors.

Lan Tze and the others were increasingly shocked to see the actions of Chang Wuhen and the others, especially since they had sealed their cultivations before, yet they were still able to use their strength. Those traitors wanted to attack them, but Zhang Fei couldnʼt possibly let that happen, so he created countless tree roots, which immediately tied their bodies tightly.

Zhang Fei also moved to Lan Tzeʼs side, and he immediately grabbed his hand before using the demon-absorbing ability on him, causing him to scream in pain. ”Argh!”

However, Zhang Fei had no intention of killing Lan Tze for the time being, so he did not absorb his soul.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Chang Wuhen, Di Xiong, and Zhang Long immediately attacked Lan Tze, especially since he was the strongest among the traitors, so they wanted to defeat him first.

Meanwhile, Liu Rong and the others moved to attack the other traitors, and they also had the upper hand, especially since they outnumbered them, causing Huang Shitian and the others to be overwhelmed with their combined attacks.

*Boom*

Their combined attack immediately blasted Lan Tze backwards, slamming him into the cave wall very hard, and he spat blood out of his mouth before falling to the ground. Chang Wuhen did not waste the opportunity and moved to his side, sealing his cultivation immediately.

After that, Chang Wuhen, Zhang Long, and Di Xiong immediately moved to attack the other traitors. Even though they continued to destroy them, Zhang Feiʼs tree roots continued to appear and bind them, causing their movements to be limited to facing the attacks of the senior cultivators, and their fight became one-sided.

In the end, the senior cultivators managed to defeat the traitors, and immediately they sealed their cultivation, leaving them all lying helplessly on the ground as their situation had reversed.

After that, Zhang Fei immediately canceled his invisibility, causing Huang Jingtian and the others to be shocked by his sudden appearance. ”Are you guys surprised to see me? Actually, I was already here before you sealed the caveʼs mouth, and I was waiting for the right time to get rid of you.”

”Hahaha.” Zhang Long suddenly laughed as he patted Zhang Feiʼs shoulder. ”Brat! We all owe you a debt of gratitude! We wouldnʼt be able to reverse our position without you, and those demons would probably kill us.”

”Thatʼs true.” Zhang Wuji nodded in agreement with his father before speaking to Zhang Fei. ”You are much younger and weaker than us, but all of your abilities are truly impressive, especially your invisibility, and none of us would have noticed your presence if you hadnʼt spoken to us.”

Zhang Fei turned his head and shook his head. ”Father-in-law and brother-in-law, I canʼt do everything by myself, even with my many abilities, and I still have to rely on a lot of people. The natural race leaders guarding the cave will stop the two Pang Clan ancestors, while the other cultivators work together to stop those heretics.”

Unlike the senior cultivators who already knew all that, the traitors were completely shocked by Zhang Feiʼs words, and they finally realized why the heretics still hadnʼt come even though Pang Xiuwen had ordered them to move.

”What are your real plans for these traitors, Kid?” Liu Rong questioned Zhang Fei as he pointed to Guan Long and the others.

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei watched those traitors as he rubbed his nose, but his gaze then fell on Qiao Ranʼs mother, Qiao Fei. He then took out the Yin-Yang Absorber Shackles and put them on the old womanʼs hands and feet. ”Hehehe! I donʼt need these old men, but I need this old woman, and I will use her to increase my cultivation.”

Liu Rong and the others looked at the shackles, seemingly curious about their effects. Zhang Fei touched Qiao Feiʼs body with his demon touch, causing the old woman to let out a loud moan. Her yin qi then flowed directly into the tube at the end of the chains, surprising them.

”As you can see, these chains absorb her yin qi and store it in this tube, which I can then directly absorb into my body.” After he said that, Zhang Fei directly absorbed Qiao Feiʼs yin qi from the tube.

[You gained 7000 Yin Qi from Qiao Fei.]

”No wonder your cultivation can improve this fast; it turns out you have such an absurd item.” Chu Hong said that as he shook his head. ”The first time I met you, your cultivation was still at the 4-Star Body Realm, and you have reached the 6-Star Soul Realm in less than three months.”

Zhang Fei just smiled listening to Chu Hongʼs remark, and he asked Mei to open the portal to Yin-Yang Space, but the portal did not appear, causing him to frown.

[Master, this sealing formation is preventing me from opening the portal; therefore, you must destroy it first before sending Qiao Fei in there.]

ʼI see.ʼ Zhang Fei immediately stood up and walked towards the sealing formation. ”Can any of you break this formation?”

”Let me try it, Kid.” Di Xiong replied as he moved towards Zhang Fei, and he immediately touched the sealing formation to check it. A while later, he shook his head and expressed disappointment. ”This sealing formation appears to be an ancient one, so I canʼt dispel it, and our combined strength may not be able to break it either.

However, the people from the Pang Clan may have the key to dispel it, especially since Lan Tze previously said that they could come in here.”

Zhang Fei nodded in understanding and used his fourth clone to meet Boitata and the leaders of the natural races. He asked them not to kill the two ancestors of the Pang Clan. After that, he moved in front of the portal, and he immediately told them about his plan.

”This demon portal has existed for too long, and those cultivators from the upper realms created it with special materials, so we wonʼt be able to destroy it just like that. However, I might be able to destroy it, but I need to make sacrifices to do so, so I will use these traits as sacrifices.”

Not only Lan Tze and the traitors trembled after Zhang Fei said that, but Chang Wuhen and the others also took a deep breath, especially since his plan was truly vicious to use humans as sacrifices.

Zhang Fei naturally noticed their reaction, so he turned to the senior cultivators. ”No matter what happens, these traitors will still die, right? Rather than them dying without a clear purpose, it would be better if they died for the safety of this realm and all its inhabitants, right?

If I sacrifice them in order to destroy this portal, then we will no longer have to worry about the demons invading this realm, and we can all live in peace with them all gone.”

”I think Zhang Feiʼs idea is the best for us.” Meng Qi suddenly spoke to them. ”Back then, our ancestors sacrificed themselves to seal this demon portal because they couldnʼt destroy it, but our lives have never been peaceful, so I think itʼs time we end it all by destroying it once and for all.”

”I agree with that too.” Ye Yuan nodded, and the other senior cultivators also ultimately decided to follow Zhang Feiʼs plan.

Zhang Fei then told them again. ”Anyhow, the destruction of this portal might cause a strong backlash, but thatʼs still just my guess for now, especially since Iʼve never done such a thing before. Thatʼs why we have to be careful, or we will also die like them.”

After that, Zhang Fei immediately moved to plant his demon slave mark on Lan Tze and the others. He paused for a moment, glancing at Zhao Liang, before speaking to him via voice transmission. ʼPatriarch Zhao, I didnʼt expect that you would join these traitors, especially since Huaʼer told me that you were an honorable man.

Her opinion of you turned out to be wrong, especially since you are no different from them, and you fell into the demonʼs temptation. Anyway, you donʼt need to worry about Ziqin, because she will be my wife soon, and I will protect her forever.ʼ

Without waiting for Zhao Liangʼs answer, Zhang Fei immediately planted his devil slave mark into his soul, so all those traitors were under his control now. He then stood up again and looked outside the cave. ”For now, we just need to wait for them to clean up those heretics, and I will destroy this portal after we get out of here.”

At the same time, a fierce battle broke out between the righteous cultivators and all the Mo Clan members in another area. However, Yang Ye, Su Qingzhi, and the others were quite overwhelmed to fight them, especially since Mo Fengyiʼs cultivation was at the 3-Star Sovereign Realm, which was much higher than theirs.

Moreover, the Mo Clan members were not weak either, and many of them had already reached the Heaven Realm, including Mo Changqiong and Gu Sanxi.

”Hmm?” Mo Fengyi, who was still fighting with Yang Ye and Su Qingzhi, suddenly glanced in another direction when he sensed the movements of several powerful cultivators.

Soon, Shen Xiya and Shen Huang landed in their battle area, and the two immediately moved to attack Mo Fengyi together. Yang Ye and Su Qingzhi did not pause, joining them to fight the Mo Clanʼs ancestor. The combined attacks of the four of them quickly forced him to continuously retreat.

Shenʼs mother and daughter, who had previously only watched from a distance, finally joined them. Shen Xueyi immediately helped the others to attack Mo Changqiong and Gu Sanxi, especially since their strengths were equal. On the other hand, Shen Yu joined the others to fight against members of the Mo Clan, whose cultivation was below the Heaven Realm.

In another area, a huge battle also took place between the righteous cultivators and the people of the Xie Clan. Ziʼer appeared to be fighting fiercely with Xie Zhengwu, and Zhang Lingxue assisted her sister-in-law by using long-range attacks. Even so, the ancestor of the Xie Clan could easily repel all their attacks, and he repeatedly turned into shadows to counterattack them.

Xie Zhengwu repeatedly tried to target Zhang Lingxue, especially since her attacks were very disruptive, and she was much weaker than Ziʼer. To his surprise, her speed surpassed his, despite the difference in their cultivation being on two different major levels.

Not far from their battle site, Yan Luanʼer, Xi Zihua, and Shi Yue were working together to fight Xie Fanjing and Lai Rouyu. Additionally, people from the Zhang Clan assisted them.

However, the cultivation of the two people from the Xie Clan was much higher than theirs, and Xie Fanjing also has the shadow demon ability, like Xie Zhengwu. Lai Rouyu has a strong defense technique, and she was protecting her husband, making it difficult for them to take down their two enemis.

Liu Qingyu, who was in the distance, immediately flew into the sky, pulled out her white sword, and infused it with her light qi. She then thrust her sword upwards, creating a large circle of light in the sky that illuminated their battle site. Her action rendered the people of the Xie Clan unable to use their shadow demon ability.

Following that, Liu Qingyu made a bow-like gesture, akin to an archer using his sword as an arrow. Immediately, numerous light arrows shot towards the members of the Xie Clan, particularly Xie Zhengwu.

Although he could not use his shadow demon ability, Xie Zhengwu was still a cultivator in the sovereign realm, and he easily broke Liu Qingyuʼs light arrows. However, he was also annoyed because she and Zhang Lingxue kept attacking him from a distance, and Ziʼerʼs charm technique repeatedly disturbed his mind.

In the end, Xie Zhengwu decided to activate his shadow demon bloodline, making his appearance change significantly, and his speed was also much faster than before. Moreover, he unleashed the demon miasma within his body, obstructing Ziʼerʼs approach and neutralizing Liu Qingyuʼs light arrows.

Xie Fanjing also did the same thing as his father, and his appearance changed after he activated his shadow demon bloodline, forcing Yan Luanʼer, Xi Zihua, Shi Yue, and the people from the Zhang Clan to stay away from him.

Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun had already arrived at the demon cave, but they immediately jumped back when an enormous fireball and waterball shot towards them, causing two loud explosions. Their expressions turned serious when they saw Boitata in her dragon-serpent form, and they became tense when they saw Oliver and the natural race leaders appear and surround them. ʼFuck!

That beast and these people are really strong!ʼ
