Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 426: Fighting The Enemies III

ʼBrother-ʼ

ʼI know.ʼ Pang Xiuwen interrupted Pang Wachun as he nodded slightly, but then he looked towards the cave entrance. ʼWe canʼt possibly face them with just the two of us, so we should distract them and enter the cave, and we will strike back once the demons come to this realm.ʼ

Pang Wachun nodded in agreement, and they immediately released their demon miasma before making their move. However, Boitata immediately shot her flames at them, and Oliver called on the wind, causing a huge tornado to descend from the sky before merging with her flames, creating a firestorm that headed straight for the two heretics.

The other leaders of the natural races also used their respective abilities to ask for help from nature, such as water, earth, thunder, and others.

When Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun saw this, they immediately threw two artifacts into the air, forming a large black shield above them that instantly repelled their attacks.

*Boom... Boom...*

Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun then spread their demon miasma further, forcing Boitata and the other leaders of the natural races to retreat because it would be bad for them if they were exposed to it. Additionally, they threw several ball-shaped items at them, which immediately exploded and created poisonous smoke.

”Retreat further!” Oliver shouted as he used his wind power to blow away the poisonous smoke, but Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun threw the same items at them once more as they dashed toward the demon cave, so all of them hurriedly moved back.

”These bastards! They only dare to use underhanded means!” Boitata cursed loudly as she fired her flames at those items, and the impact of their clash produced a huge explosion once again.

*Boom... Boom...*

Oliver immediately used his wind power again, and the black smoke was carried away by the wind. An ethereal demon claw suddenly descended from the sky to squash Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun, but the two of them snorted coldly and jumped towards it before shattering it. ”Futile! You guys wonʼt be able to stop us!”

*Swoosh... Swoosh...*

Numerous tree roots quickly moved towards Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun, but both of them paid no attention to those roots, especially since they immediately disappeared as soon as they touched their demon miasma.

Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun also used two of the netherworld demon scriptureʼs sub-techniques: the demon body to increase their strength and speed, and the demon corruption to weaken their enemies. However, they did not stop there; both of them unleashed their demon claws and demon kingʼs roar at the same time.

*Roar... Roar...*

Affected by their demon kingʼs roar, Boitata and the leaders of the natural races staggered and looked confused. Zhang Fei [1], who was already on standby, immediately flew towards them, taking them away from their previous spot. Having mastered the netherworld demon scripture, he is aware of the effects of their demon corruption, which will taint them with darkness and weaken them further.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei [4] was already in his demon form, and the demon extermination sword had appeared in his right hand. He took a fighting stance while holding the hilt of his sword with both hands, but he then imbued his light qi into his sword before swinging it upwards.

In an instant, two crescent-shaped light qi shot towards the two demon claws, and Zhang Fei [4]ʼs attacks directly hit both of them, shattering both.

ʼWhat the fuck? How can a demon use light element?ʼ Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun, who were running towards the cave, screamed in shock after they saw Zhang Fei [4]ʼs demon form. ʼWho is that demon? Why is he helping those people?ʼ

Zhang Fei [1] immediately landed beside Zhang Fei [4], and both of them released their demon kingʼs roar toward the two ancestors of the Pang Clan. Unfortunately, Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun immediately countered their attacks with their own demon kingʼs roar, rendering them ineffective.

”Brother! Those two must be Zhang Feiʼs clones!” Pang Wachun shouted as he glared at Zhang Fei [1] and Zhang Fei [4].

Pang Xiuwen nodded in agreement with him, but he immediately ignored them. ”Forget about them! We should hurry into the cave to summon those demons, so they can help us destroy these people.”

With their speed increasing thanks to the demon body technique, Pang Wachun and Pang Xiuwen had already entered the demon cave. Boitata immediately returned to her human form and landed beside Zhang Feiʼs clones. ”Those guys are really strong and cunning, husband.”

”Yes.” Both Zhang Feiʼs clones nodded to Boitata.

Oliver and the other leaders of the natural races also landed beside them, but they seemed to regret not being able to stop Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun, so Zhang Fei [1] spoke to them directly. ”You guys donʼt need to mind them, especially since the situation inside is already under control, and those traitors are under my control now.”

”Anyway, it would be better if we caught up with Liu Hua and the others, and we will destroy their clans along with all their descendants.” Unlike Boitata, the leaders of the natural races were shocked by Zhang Fei [4]ʼs words. ”They are heretics, so we donʼt need to be merciful to them; we must destroy them at their roots so that no other heretics will appear in the future.”

”Letʼs go, Hubsand! Weʼll destroy those clans at once!” Boitata said that with an angry expression, especially after their failure to stop Pang Wachun and Pang Xiuwen.

The leaders of the natural races finally agreed, especially since they had already acknowledged Zhang Fei as their leader, so his orders were absolute. The two Zhang Feiʼs clones immediately took them away from the area using the nine cloud steps, but they also paid attention to all the battles between the righteous cultivators and those heretics.

They could see that the Mo Clan was being pushed back by Shen Xueyi and the othersʼ combined attacks, and many of their members were dead. Moreover, Zhang Feiʼs slave, Mo Zifeng, had also joined them based on his order, which shocked Mo Fengyi and his clan members.

The battle situation in another area also seemed to be under control, especially after the cultivators from the southern region arrived, and the people from the Shen Clan immediately helped Shen Xueyi and the others to fight the people from the Xie Clan.

Meanwhile, the battle with the people from the Gu Clan had already ended, especially after Meng Guanqiu led cultivators from the southern region to come to the aid of Lian Xiang and the others. Since that clan had only three members, they couldnʼt fight such a large number of cultivators.

At first, Zhang Fei wanted to sacrifice Gu Jinglin, but he changed his mind, especially since he still needed her guidance to master the Gu Creation Technique, and she was the right person for that. Instead, he ordered her to finish off Gu Changsheng, Gu Kaizhi, and Mo Xingqing.

After that, Lian Xiang asked them to spread out to the other two battle locations so they could eliminate the heretics as quickly as possible.

Inside the cave, Chang Wuhen and the others had already suppressed their cultivation and aura as much as possible, and Zhang Fei himself had entered an invisible state so that Pang Xiuwen and Pang Wachun would not notice his presence. Meanwhile, Lan Tze and the others seemed to act naturally as if nothing had happened, so the two heretics were still unaware that they had become his slaves.

”Where is Qiao Fei? Why isnʼt he here?” Pang Xiuwen questioned Huan Shitian and Huan Jingtian, especially since the Huan and Qiao clan were related by marriage.

”Qiao Fei got some bad news from Qiao Ran about their clan, so he decided to go back and check.” Huan Shitianʼs answer made Pang Xiuwen frown and turn to Chang Wuhen and the others, but they chose to ignore them while pretending to be miserable.

Lan Tze then questioned Pang Xiuwen. ”Why havenʼt the demons come here yet? The seal on this portal was destroyed long ago.”

Pang Xiuwen himself was curious about that, so he checked the demon portal. However, the portal suddenly glowed, and a male demon with a completely black body walked out of it, which excited both him and Pang Wachun.

Chang Wuhen and the others frowned at the demonʼs presence, but Zhang Fei asked them to remain calm, especially since he already knew Shang Huaqiangʼs plan through Zhang Xiaolong [3], who was still hiding in the demon emperor city.

They immediately kneeled down on one knee in front of the male demon, and Pang Xiuwen asked. ”Why didnʼt the demon emperor lead his troops directly to this realm? These people are already helpless, and none of them are aware of our actions, so it is safe for them to come here.”

”Is the situation really safe?” Pang Wachun and the others nodded to the male demon. ”I see! I will go back now and inform my emperor about this, so he can immediately lead us to take over this realm.”

The male demon immediately entered the demon portal again, making Pang Xiuwen breathe a sigh of relief. He then stood up and turned to those senior cultivators. ”Hehehehe! You and your ancestors have defended this portal for generations, but the seal has been destroyed, and those demons will invade this realm once again, so this is our victory.”

”Brother, we-Ugh!”

”Wachun!” Pang Xiuwen immediately shouted as soon as he saw a spear penetrate Pang Wachunʼs chest, but his expression turned furious when he saw the person holding the spear.

*Splurt.*

Lan Tze didnʼt respond to Pang Xiuwen, and he pulled his spear out of Pang Wachunʼs chest, causing him to collapse on the cold cave floor.

”Lan Tze! You-” Pang Xiuwen immediately swallowed his words as a sword suddenly pressed against his neck. The other senior cultivators, together with the traitors, released their auras to restrict his movements, immobilizing him.

”No matter how strong you are, you will not be able to fight against all of us.” Ba Jiawen said it as he sealed Pang Xiuwenʼs cultivation.

ʼFuck!ʼ Pang Xiuwen cursed inwardly as he watched Chang Wuhen and the others stand up, but his attention was diverted to Zhang Fei, who had canceled his invisibility and appeared in front of him. ”So you were the one who planned everything, huh?”

Zhang Fei smiled faintly in response. ”In the past, I had no ties to this realm, but many of my wives were natives of this realm, and they loved this realm dearly, so I was forced to act to stop you.”

”Hahaha!” Pang Xiuwen laughed out loud. ”I didnʼt expect that the plan we had put together for years would be ruined in the hands of a snotty brat like you, and it all started when your appearance disrupted Pang Hongʼs plan. Unfortunately, you are too late because the seal has been broken, and the demons are about to invade this realm again.

Although I lost in your hands, I still emerged victorious with their return.”

”Do you still not understand the situation? Why havenʼt the demons come here even though the seal has been broken?” Zhang Fei then changed into his demon form, causing the senior cultivators to frown. Even though they already knew about it, they still had a hard time accepting that he had a demon form. ”As you can see, I am a demon myself, and I can go to their realm without any obstacles.

However, I donʼt want to talk much with you, and I will enslave you so that I can remove the sealing formation from this place.”

”Heh!” Pang Xiuwen snorted at that. ”Do you believe I have the key to removing the sealing formation? I got it from the demons, so only they can remove it. Like I said before, no matter what happens, even if I have to die in your hands, I will die as the winner.”

Chang Wuhen and the others frowned after they heard that, but Zhang Long immediately said to Zhang Fei. ”Kid, you can enslave this guy now, so we can know whether he is telling the truth or not.”

”Thatʼs right, you can do it now.” Chang Wuhen and others also said to Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei nodded and lightly touched Pang Xiuwenʼs chest, but he continued to smile triumphantly, unafraid of his enslavement. However, he couldnʼt immediately implant his demon slave mark, especially since his soul strength was still too strong, so he first used the demon-absorbing technique to weaken him.

”Gahh!” Pang Xiuwenʼs groan of pain immediately echoed in the cave, but Zhang Long and Zhang Wuji held him back from falling. ”Gah! Hahahaha! Argh! Itʼs useless! Hahaha!

All of you will die at the hands of those demons!”

Soon, Pangʼs groan of pain Xiuwen stopped, and his eyes went blank after Zhang Fei planted his slave mark into his soul. He then ordered him to remove the sealing formation, but he shook his head before answering him. ”Master, I donʼt have the key, but one of the demons does, so you have to capture him to be able to remove the sealing formation.”

All of them released heavy sighs, and Zhang Fei asked his new slave again. ”Who is the demonʼs identity?”

Pang Xiuwen once again shook his head in response. ”I donʼt know the exact identity of the demon, but he calls himself the blood demon, and he is one of the demon emperorʼs trusted men.”

”Do you know anything about that demon, Kid?” Zhang Long asked Zhang Fei.

”Father-in-law, my strength is still too low, so I donʼt dare to explore the netherworld realm.” Zhang Fei then paused for a moment and thought of something. ”I have never met that demon, but I may know his identity, and he seems to be Elijah the vampire lord, especially since vampires are always related to blood.

Unfortunately, he is very strong because his demon rank is at the duke rank, and he also has senses that are no less powerful than cultivators, so I canʼt get close to him. As for Feng Yao, she is still holding back those cultivators from the upper realms, and Shang Huaqiang is locking her up now, so she canʼt do anything either.”

After hearing that, Zhang Long and the others became deeply contemplative and considered venturing into the netherworld realm. However, they thought that it was too risky, especially since those cultivators would definitely detect their presence immediately.

Just as they were thinking about that, a giant demon hand suddenly came out from within the demon portal and swept towards them, but they immediately moved to avoid it. Despite their efforts, the attack still struck some of them, particularly Pang Xiuwen and the traitors, causing them to crash into the cave wall.

Zhang Fei quickly summoned the extermination demon sword, imbued his light element into it, and slashed the giant demon hand directly.

*Splurt*

A lot of fresh black blood gushed out from the severed hand, so they protected their bodies with Qi, especially since the blood soaked the entire area inside the cave, and it was swiftly pulled back by its owner. ”They are starting to move, so we have no other choice left, and we have to destroy this demon portal now.”
