Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 428: Zhang Feiʼs Plans

In the netherworld realm, the demons stood frozen in their spots, and none of them dared to say a word, especially since Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar looked furious after the portal was destroyed. ʼDamn it! I have to meet that guy again to create a new portal to connect the two realms again, but it will take decades to create one.

Furthermore, the younger generations of those upper realm clans, particularly the younger generations of those of the mythical beasts, reside in the Sky Jade realm. They will undoubtedly discover the legacy of the ten-tailed fox before me. ”Xishun, lead them back to our realm, and I will think of a new plan to invade that realm again.”

”Yes, Patriarch.”

Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar then changed to Shang Guangming and Shang Yaolin. ”I sent you two here for an easy task, but you guys wasted the opportunity I gave you. As punishment, you two will go to our branch clan in the wasteland realm in the middle realm, and you will work there for a hundred years.”

Shang Guangming and Shang Yaolin were shocked by that, and they wanted to refute Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar, but Shang Chenguang immediately stopped them because he didnʼt want them to die at the hands of their patriarch, especially since they were still so young and their chances were still wide open in the future.

After that, Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar instantly disappeared from their sight, and Shang Xishun brought three of their clan members to rush back to the red sun realm. As for Shang Chenguang, he wanted to take Shang Guangming and Shang Yaolin to the wasteland realm, so he could arrange the best for them in that realm.

”Brother, we-”

”Forget it.” Shang Guangming immediately stopped his sister. ”We have no choice but to accept our patriarchʼs decision, or he will sentence us to death if we contradict him. Moreover, a hundred years is not long for cultivators like us, so I am sure we can get through everything just fine, and we will return to the Red Sun Realm after our punishment is over.”

”Yaolin, I know your worries, but I will help you two arrange everything, so you guys wonʼt suffer in that realm. In addition, I will often come to visit you two there, and I will bring you the best resources for your cultivation.” Shang Yaolin sighed helplessly and nodded at Shang Chenguang.

”Anyways, I recall you telling me about the black heavenly fox, so letʼs head to that forest now and bring him to the wasteland realm. Since he is still a child, I will help one of you make a contract with him, and he will be the key for you to gain a higher status after you return to our realm.”

Both of them were overjoyed to hear that, especially since getting a heavenly fox as a contract beast was a rare opportunity. However, Shang Yaolin immediately told Shang Chenguang. ”Uncle, I have gone to that forest to look for that kid, but he disappeared, and that old tree demon doesnʼt know his location.”

”Itʼs ok, weʼll go there first, and Iʼll look for him later.” Shang Chenguang immediately enveloped them with his aura and took them away from the demon emperor city for the ghostveil forest.

ʼWhat are you going to do now, Kid?ʼ Feng Yao asked Zhang Xiaolong [3] via voice transmission.

ʼIʼll send you back to the Sky Jade Realm now, and Iʼll go to the ghostveil forest to meet those three people.ʼ Zhang Xiaolong [3]ʼs answer made Feng Yao frown, especially since Shang Chenguang and his two juniors were much stronger than him. ʼHehehe! You donʼt have to worry about me because they wonʼt hurt me, and they will never be able to force me into a beast contract.

Since you are a phoenix, you should be familiar with my heavenly fox abilities, right? I donʼt have much information about the middle or upper realms, and I can only open the gate if Iʼve been there before. Thatʼs why I donʼt want to waste this opportunity, and Iʼll let them take me to the middle realms so I can bring all my wives and family members there in the future.

In addition, I can cancel my clone instantly if Iʼm in danger, so everything will be fine.ʼ

Feng Yao nodded in understanding at Zhang Xiaolong [3]ʼs words. ʼAll right, you can send me back now, so you can get ahead of them in the ghostveil forest. Anyway, you still have another clone in the Sky Jade Realm, right? I want you to meet me at the Blazing Phoenix Sect, and I will tell you a lot of information about the middle and upper realms.ʼ

ʼAll right, one of my clones will meet you directly after they destroy those heretic clans.ʼ After that, Zhang Xiaolong [3] sent Feng Yao into the Yin-Yang Space, and he himself rushed to the ghostveil forest. Additionally, he asked Tharnon to take Morgana to the forest so he could hand over Oz the 1st to her.

The demons of the netherworld realm looked relieved after all the cultivators disappeared, but their expressions immediately turned serious after they remembered the absence of a leader in their realm, especially since Oz the 1st disappeared without a trace.

Even Shang Huaqiangʼs avatar couldnʼt find his whereabouts, even though his slave mark was still in his soul, especially since Zhang Feiʼs Yin-Yang space is different from others.

”I know what youʼre thinking, but I have a feeling that the person who disguised himself as our demon emperor is still in this realm, and he might be hiding in a place that those cultivators canʼt detect. Moreover, he is much stronger than all of us, so we shouldnʼt think about the position of the demon emperor.

For now, we should return to our respective cities, and I believe that he will come back to see us again soon, so we will make a decision at that time.” A male demon suddenly spoke to them. He had a human-like body, but his head was an oxʼs head. Moreover, his rank was not low, and he was one of the strongest among them, with his demon rank at the King Rank, one rank away from the Emperor Rank.

A tall and slender female demon, with waist-length white hair resembling a spiderweb and eight legs behind her back, abruptly questioned the Ox demon. ”Oxgroth, are you thinking about staging a coup against that person? We all know that he is much stronger than us, and we will never win even if we all join forces to attack him, so I think your plan will be in vain.”

”Zilvora, I am naturally aware of the strength of all of us, and I did not say that I would stage a coup against him.” Oxgroth then turned his attention to the demons possessing King or Queen Rank. ”Although he often suppresses us as he pleases, that guy is actually not bad, and our realm is also more advanced than during the era of our true demon emperorʼs leadership.

Furthermore, our strength has increased greatly thanks to the help of those cultivators, so I believe itʼs no problem if he continues to lead us. Even so, we must ask him where those people imprisoned our demon emperor, and we must free him if we can.”

”Are you serious about that?” A muscular male demon with a behemoth-like appearance asked with a frown. ”That guy is a puppet for those cultivators, and he canʼt even go against their orders. If he continues to rule this realm, those people will certainly come here again in the future, and they will surely force us to do even more dangerous things.”

”Hey! Why are you such a coward, Groth?” Another male demon, resembling a goat in appearance, mocked him. ”Even though we are not cultivators like those people, I know that creating a portal is not easy, so I am certain that they will not return to our realm anytime soon. Back then, they appeared so suddenly, so we had no preparation whatsoever to face them.

However, we have a lot of time ahead, and we already know more or less their strength, so we can prepare a lot of things to fight them. Moreover, we still have Alder, and those people donʼt dare approach Black Moon City, so we can try to persuade him to help us.”

Groth turned to the demon with a frown. ”Do you think Alder will really be willing to help us, Bapho? Even that impostor canʼt force him to join us, let alone us.”

”At least we can try it first, right?” Bapho then turned to the others. ”What do you guys think about that?”

”I think we can do that.” Oxgroth said with a nod of agreement. ”You can all disperse and return to your respective cities now; Zilvora and I will go to Black Moon City to meet Alder.”

Inside the Yin-Yang Space, Feng Yao stood in front of Oz the 1st, gazing at him with seriousness, until she reached out and touched his chest. ”Shang Huaqiangʼs slave mark is too strong for my current level, so I canʼt help you remove it from your soul. However, I can still do something to seal it, so he wonʼt be able to sense your presence or force you to obey him anymore.

Even so, you canʼt stay in this realm anymore, and you have to hide in another realm.”

”Why do you want to help me, human?” Oz the 1st doubtfully asked Feng Yao.

”Frankly speaking, I donʼt like demons, but I donʼt hate them either.” Feng Yao then used her phoenix qi to seal Shang Huaqiangʼs slave mark inside Oz the 1stʼs soul, causing him to feel hot inside his body. However, it didnʼt last long, and she pulled her hand back after a few minutes. ”Since Zhang Fei knows you, Iʼm sure he has a solution for you, so you can discuss this matter with him.”

Suddenly, a portal opened in front of them, and Feng Yao could see the Sky Jade Realm from within, so she rushed out of the Yin-Yang Space and arrived directly in the northern region. However, she did not help Zhang Feiʼs clones and the others destroy those heretics, especially since she could not kill people from the lower realms.

After the portal closed, another portal immediately opened again, and Oz the 1st was pulled out of the Yin-Yang Space.

Oz the 1st immediately frowned when he saw Oz the 2nd standing side by side with Zygoz and Ursula, but the three of them immediately kneeled before him. ”Emperor! We are so glad to see you alive!”

Oz the 1st was taken aback when he saw the three of them in such a manner, particularly considering that their demon rank was the same as his own, either Emperor or Empress. However, he seems interested in Oz the 2nd, especially since they are both celestial demons.

”Husband!” Morgana suddenly called out and landed beside Oz the 1st, and she immediately checked his condition before sighing in relief. ”Phew! Iʼm relieved that youʼre okay. At first, I thought that Shang Huaqiang would kill you through his slave mark, but he didnʼt do it.”

Oz the 2nd, Zygoz, and Ursula frowned after hearing about the slave mark, but they were also curious about Morganaʼs identity. Her demon rank was clearly at the Empress Rank, but her strength was several times above theirs.

Oz the 1st smiled and hugged Morgana immediately. ”Iʼm fine, and a female human has helped me seal Shang Huaqiangʼs slave mark, so she wonʼt be able to track or control me anymore.”

”Eh?” Morgana then turned to Zhang Xiaolong [3] after she remembered about Feng Yao. ”Is she the one who helped my husband? Where is she now?”

”I guess so.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] immediately asked Mei to open a gate to the Diyu realm. ”We donʼt have much time to chat, especially since those three cultivators will arrive in this forest soon. So you guys must go to that realm now, and Iʼll meet you all later.”

”Letʼs go, Emperor. Iʼll take you back to your home realm, and Iʼll also take you to your old places, so you can regain your old memories faster.” Oz the 2nd spoke as he entered the gate, followed by Zygoz and Ursula.

Morgana immediately pulled Oz the 1st to follow them. ”Letʼs go, husband. Iʼve been curious about your past life for a long time, and I also want to see your home realm, so letʼs follow them now.”

”All right.” Oz the 1st nodded and followed them straight away, along with Tharnon, who was still in the form of a black crow.

After Mei closed the gate, Zhang Xiaolong [3] immediately transformed back into his child form and waited for the three Shang Clan members to arrive. However, Arbeola promptly reminded him. ”Kid, you are too bold to take risks, especially since they are too strong for you, so do be careful.”

”You are right, Old Demon.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] replied with a nod. ”Currently, I do not have access to other realms in the middle realms, so I have to go there directly to gain access, and I will return to this realm directly after I arrive there. I donʼt think it will take long, especially since this realm is also in the middle realm.”

Arbeola nodded to Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”Theyʼre here.”

A second later, Shang Chenguang and his two juniors landed in front of them, and the three of them were shocked to see Zhang Xiaolong [3], who was leasurely leaning against Arbeolaʼs trunk.

Shang Yaolin immediately moved in front of Zhang Xiaolong [3] and lifted him. ”Are you really a heavenly fox, kid?”

”Yes, Big Sister.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] answered Shang Yaolin with a frightened look.

Shang Guangming immediately spoke to his sister. ”Yaolin, I have personally witnessed his teleportation ability, and it is similar to that of the heavenly foxes, so you donʼt need to doubt her anymore. Unfortunately, he is still young now, so he hasnʼt gained their other abilities yet, and we have to wait for him to grow up first.”

”I know.” Shang Yaolin then turned to Shang Chenguang. ”Uncle, letʼs leave this realm now; Iʼve had enough of this place, and weʼll take this kid with us.”

Without uttering a word, Shang Chenguang swiftly retrieved their flying artifact, escorting the three of them aboard, while Zhang Xiaolong [3] glanced at Arbeola. ”Old demon, Iʼll come back to this realm in the future to see you.”

Arbeola only smiled upon hearing that, but he also laughed in his heart seeing Zhang Xiaolong [3] acting like a child. ”Take care of yourself, Kid.”

Zhang Fei, who was floating in the darkness, slowly opened his eyes. He then sat in the air and looked around, but he couldnʼt find those senior cultivators, so he opened his map to look for them. However, no names appeared on his map, so he directly asked the AI. ”Where am I now, Mei? Do you have any information about this place?”
