CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2095: Chapter 2103: Can’t Play Recently

After watching Bright Sampton go out, Jane Sampson finally returned upstairs to her room; she couldn’t log back into the game, so she navigated to twitter as a tourist.

The news of her being harmed hasn’t seen a bit of decrease in popularity even now.

Whenever Jane thought of how upset those fans must be, she felt so guilty about it that she couldn’t bring herself to look at the private farewell ceremony they organized for her. After wandering around on twitter for a few minutes, Jane entered James Black’s twitter homepage.

Jane Sampson’s Mr. Black.

This twitter account hasn’t been logged into for a long time, the last login was when she was operating it.

The latest tweet posted on twitter was still the one she posted on behalf of James.

Later in the villa, Jane forgot to mention this to James, but Jane suspected that James might know; after all, the photo scandal back then stirred quite a fuss, and after James and she separated, he could only learn about her news through the internet realm, so James should have seen it too.

However, others didn’t know her relationship with James Carter, so they might misunderstand when seeing the photos, but James knew that James Carter was her brother with whom she shared a blood connection, so James saw it and wouldn’t be angry.

Perhaps, seeing her alongside a brother, James might actually feel more relieved.

After all, before going out for tasks, he entrusted James Carter repeatedly to keep an eye on her.

Many fans are comforting James under that last twitter post, saying not to be sad; since Jane got into trouble, this twitter account stopped updating, so many of Jane’s fans speculated that maybe Mr. Black is too distressed to revisit twitter full of memories of him and his wife.

Jane was flipping through James’s twitter updates over the past half year, and sometimes when she saw his replies full of jealousy, she couldn’t help but curl the corner of her mouth into a smile.

Previously, she hadn’t thought about James feeling jealous; every time James replied like that, Jane would always have a dumbfounded expression, thinking James was really annoying, really bossy.

But nowadays, looking back at his every tweet, the words between the lines are possessive of her, yet also filled with indulgence and care for her.

The tweets he sent out of jealousy are particularly amusing now upon revisiting them.

If over a year ago someone had told Jane Sampson that one day James Black would feel jealous because of her, Jane would most likely have treated it as a joke.

But now, her heart is filled with sweetness.

When Rock Bell called Jane Sampson, she was holding her mobile phone, foolishly smiling at James Black’s twitter; as the call came in, she was just sliding her finger across the screen, and that’s how she answered the call.

”Answering in seconds?” Rock Bell was startled by Jane Sampson’s speed in making a call, ”No lunch break? Hugging your mobile? With James not by your side to watch over, are your internet habits acting up again?”

”I wasn’t playing games.” Jane instinctively defended herself, ”Can’t play recently.”

”True, almost forgot about that.” Rock Bell laughed, ”You sound so aggrieved when you talk.”

”Not aggrieved, not aggrieved at all.” Jane clarified earnestly, not wanting to continue being teased by Rock Bell, she changed the topic, ”Sister Tin, you must have something you need me for, right?”

This phone number was given by Jane Sampson to Rock Bell, instructing her to call directly if there’s anything.
