CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2083: Chapter 2091: Another One

”Brother, our family borrowed a lot of money from the Black Family, more than 3 billion. Peter Gingery also secretly lent all the money James Black and Jane Sampson had on hand to me. Let me tell you, if you don’t wake up soon, and I accidentally lose all this money, wouldn’t Jane Sampson really become a true pauper? If you care for her money, you’d better wake up quickly.”

After saying this, Alexander Forest sighed again.

Then he stood up, called the caregiver to watch over him carefully, and left the hospital to return to the Forest Family home to rest.

Tomorrow, it would be another day of hard work.

Fortunately, one more day, the day after tomorrow would be Saturday, the stock market would rest, and the Forest Family could relax and take a breather.

That night, Old Master Black was unable to sleep all night, his mind filled with thoughts of James Black, whom he had personally raised.

In the middle of the night, Old Master Black received a phone call, bringing yet another shocking piece of news.

”The corpse of the mute nanny has been discovered, also with a slit throat, discarded in a corner of an abandoned fish pond. The owner of the fish pond smelled the stench of rot and went over to find it.”

The person on the other end of the phone paused for a few seconds before continuing, ”The forensic doctor’s preliminary estimate is that the time of death is slightly earlier than the kidnapping of that young man who abducted Jane Sampson. Because of the hot weather and being soaked in sewage, the mute nanny’s corpse began to stink.”

”From the various traces left at the scene, the police have confirmed that the person who dumped the body in the fish pond should be that young man. So, everyone speculates that after the young man took the mute nanny away, they were likely going to his big brother. Then, the mute nanny was killed, and the young man helped dispose of the body probably under his big brother’s orders. Later, the young man was also killed and his body dumped in a garbage heap.”

At this point, Old Master Black already understood the kind of person this big brother behind all this was.

”The boy took the nanny to seek refuge with his big brother. After his big brother learned that the boy was exposed to police surveillance, he didn’t intend to shelter this subordinate. The boy knew a lot about him and had seen him, and the mute nanny was also dispatched by him. Hence, the big brother harbored murderous intent and killed these two people, leaving nothing for the police to investigate.”

Old Master Black asked, ”If I am not mistaken, when these two died, they weren’t wearing their usual clothes, were they? They probably didn’t have any of their original belongings on them either?”

”Yes, the two deceased were wearing very common, low-quality clothes, so the clothes have no reference value. Around the place where the deceased were found, no personal belongings of the deceased were discovered, nor did we find anything like a mobile phone,” the person on the phone said.

The young man was dead, the mute nanny was dead too.

Now, in the villa, only James Black was still missing.

Old Master Black hung up the phone with a heavy heart, and for the remainder of the night, he sat on the bed with the mobile phone, unable to close his eyes and rest.

The next morning, the nanny found that Old Master Black had fallen ill. She hurried upstairs to call Brooke Black and her husband, and also woke up Jane Sampson in the room.

Brooke Black had just run into Old Master Black’s room, and Jane Sampson followed closely behind.

Looking at the elderly man lying in bed with a pale face, Jane Sampson was anxious.
