CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2051: Chapter 2059: Brain Food

Previously, all the sentimentality vanished in the teeth-gritting bite of Bright Sampon’s meal.

Jane Sampson felt that if it weren’t for the injury on her arm and the respect for her as a sister, Bright Sampton might throw the ashes from the urn in his hand onto her face to vent his anger in the next second.

In fact, Bright Sampton did think of it momentarily.

But in the end, he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

He glanced at the kitchen and then placed the urn on the tabletop, calling out to the cook in the kitchen, ”Aunt, could you boil the five grains in the urn, and when it’s done, serve it to my sister...”

Bright Sampton glanced at Peter Gingery, who was laughing obnoxiously, and continued, ”Serve it to my sister and Brother Peter Gingery, let them nourish their bodies, oh wait, I mean their brains.”

”What! Bright Sampton, you’re way too reckless!” Peter Gingery was sickened by the thought of using the urn-filled stuff, ”You’re disgusting.”

”Not half as reckless as you and my sister.” Bright Sampson snorted and sat next to Elder Black, saying, ”Grandfather of Black Family, can you tell me what’s going on with my sister? The Public Security Department has announced my sister’s death news, yet here she is, fine and well? Also, what’s with the injury on her arm? It’s terrifying!”

Elder Black finally shared with Bright Sampton the events Jane Sampson had gone through recently, and upon hearing that Jane was kidnapped, her arm cut with so many wounds for blood, and fed so many sleeping pills, Bright Sampton felt a pang of heartache.

Thinking to himself, he was relieved he didn’t throw the urn at her face earlier, or he would be regretting it at this moment.

”So, after all this, is it because my sister is too good-looking that she’s suffering?” Just because of her good looks and popularity, she went to school to shoot outdoor scenes, showed her face once, and had the misfortune of being noticed by that criminal, who then set his sights on Jane Sampson.

”Consider it bad luck, but also good luck.” Peter Gingery thought the situation with Jane Sampson was thrilling, her luck was good, for James Black was lurking beside the criminal.

The criminal didn’t harm Jane Sampson, kindly leaving her to James Black, her husband.

”Tonight, you’re temporarily staying at the Black Family house, tomorrow, you need to go out and show your face.” Elder Black said, ”There’s one more thing you need to do.”

”What?” Bright Sampton was somewhat confused.

”You’ll know it by tomorrow morning.” Elder Black smiled mysteriously, patting Bright Sampton’s shoulder, ”Young man, luckily your sister still cares for you, otherwise, there’ll be times when you cry.”

Bright Sampton looked bewildered at Elder Black, and before Bright Sampton hesitated to continue asking, Elder Black got up and returned to his room for rest.

After all, age caught up with him, and he couldn’t hold out.

”Sis?” Bright Sampton turned his head to look at Jane Sampson, ”What did Grandfather of Black Family mean by his words? I didn’t understand it.”

Just as Jane was about to explain, Peter Gingery’s mobile phone suddenly rang.

It was Alexander Forest calling.

Peter Gingery sat in the living room, gesturing for Bright Sampson and Jane Sampson to quiet down, then answered the phone.

Alexander Forest was calling to inquire about whether Bright Sampson had arrived at the Black Family house.

”Bright Sampson previously told me that he would arrive in Capital Province tonight, and should be bringing Jane’s ashes directly to the Black Family, right?” Alexander Forest understood the situation of the Sampson Family, Jane Sampson being James Black’s wife, hence Bright Sampson wouldn’t likely take Jane Sampson’s ashes to the Sampson Family. ”Already at the Black Family house.” Alexander Forest said.
