Chapter 698: Playing with Fire. (Rio X Lia).

Rex Mansion, Guest Room No. 7.

”Wakey wakey sleepyhead~ It’s morning~”

A frown appeared on Rio’s face as a mischievous finger kept poking his face and refused to let him sleep peacefully.

”Hmm... let me sleep for five more minutes~”

Although Rio tried to push the mischievous finger away from his face, it kept annoying him, and out of irritation, Rio caught the little mischievous hand trying to annoy him, pulled it towards him, and pushed the beautiful girl below him.

”You really like to play with fire don’t you...”

Lia, whose hands were pushed above her head and her petite body was stuck below Rio, felt nervous looking at those drowsy eyes of Rio that seemed especially alluring in the morning sunlight.

Even Rio’s sleepy morning voice was very pleasing to hear, and being pinned down like that made Lia feel shy.

”T-that’s unfair... you tease me all the time; I was just getting my revenge a little bit; no need to get so energetic so suddenly in the morning...”

Hearing Lia’s cute protests, Rio smiled mischievously as he held her hands above her head with one hand, and with the other he caressed her chin like a playboy teasing an innocent girl.

”You don’t really think you can get away so easily after making me excited so early in the morning, do you?”

”Were you trying to tempt me to do something to you?”

Hearing that alluring deep voice whispering in her ears, Lia’s face became red from shyness as she replied in a stuttering voice.

”Th-that’s not what... I-I was just waking you up... y-you know... I wasn’t tempting you or anything like that...”

Ignoring Lia’s clumsy attempts at calming her nervousness, Rio smirked evilly as he spoke.

”A naughty girl like you deserves punishment, don’t you think?”

Before Lia could react, Rio bit her lightly on the neck and gave her a love bite, causing her eyes to widen in shock and disbelief.

Rio’s drowsy morning look and voice were already a big stimulant, and now this sudden love attack made Lia almost faint from being stimulated too much, and she hurriedly pushed Rio away as she ran away in the shower to hide her embarrassment!

”Idiot! Perv!”

Looking at that clumsy and panicked attempt to hide, Rio laughed in amusement as he lay down on the bed and licked his lips.

”Sigh... Almost lost control there... That was too hasty of me... I need to take things like these slowly...”

Although Rio himself had no great know-how of what it really meant to be in a relationship, as he had never had a girlfriend before, even he knew that Lia was inherently shy by nature and it was not a good idea to be hasty with her.

”Well... we have got our entire lives ahead of us... we can take things slowly...”

Every relationship was unique in its own way; there was no need to look at other couples and compare them himself.

Rio knew that he would need to give Lia enough time to get used to things like these, or it could impact their relationship negatively if he tried to be forceful.

”Still... teasing me right when I was not properly on guard was an unfair move; she’s gotten good at catching me off guard, heh...”

Thinking so far, Rio got up from the bed and stretched his relaxed body as he yawned.

”Yawnn~ I feel like it’s been ages since I got such a good sleep~”

Looking at his watch, it turned out that it was only just the next day after ’Operation Hydra’ was completed.

”I only slept for one day and recovered from all stress so easily?...”

Rio found it odd that several months’ worth of piled up stress was gone just in a single night’s sleep.

”Hmph! That’s because you kept hugging me so tightly, and I had to use a lot of force to push you off me to sleep peacefully!”

”You basically got a free massage from me you know! Hmph!”

Lia, who had retreated to the shower like a rabbit hiding in its hiding spot, finally came back after calming her racing heart and pointed her finger at Rio with a smug look on her face!

”You seemed very tired back when you came to save me too... So, I gave you a massage last night, you know!”

”Hmph! Be glad! No one has ever gotten to witness the awesome massage skills of this young lady before; you are the first!”

Rio found it amusing that one moment Lia was hiding from embarrassment and the next she was playing smug in front of him.

”Hoh, so the young lady also knows how to massage. I am actually feeling sore in my shoulders still... would the young lady do me the honor once again?”

Just when Lia was about to reply in a smug voice, she sensed the movement in a familiar string of destiny, and a look of surprise appeared on her face.

Rio, who was smiling teasingly at her until now, also stopped being a rascal and hurriedly looked in a certain direction as he spoke in surprise.

”They both woke up!”

Rio and Lia both nodded their heads at each other as they understood what the other party was thinking as they hurriedly rushed out of the room and dashed through the corridor!

Just like Rio and Lia, Link and Riya also came running down from the upper floor through the stairs with excited looks on their faces!

All four of them were eager to be the first one to meet Liam and Ellie, so all of them rushed straight to the guest room in which Liam and Ellie were resting!

*Bam!*

The door was forced open with lightning speed by the excited group, only to witness a passionate kissing scene going on inside!

*Silence~*

An awkward silence spread in the room as six people stared at each other awkwardly for a few seconds before Link coughed violently.

”Cough! Ahem... I-I think I forgot something on the stove; I will be back...”

Riya also nodded her head dumbly as she laughed dryly.

”ehehe, m-me too...”

Rio, on the other hand, looked at Liam and Ellie kissing each other passionately and pretended to shake his head in disappointment.

”Tch, the first thing they do after waking up is this?... The younger generation nowadays is too carefree, sigh...”

Hearing Rio’s words, Lia dragged Rio out of the room in awkwardness as she smiled at Ellie and Liam and spoke before leaving.

”Err... don’t mind us... continue, hehe~”
