Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 691: Operation ’Hydra’. Part-9.

[Title: Goddess of Resurrection]

[Title Description: For a long long time, the entire universe believed that once someone dies, it’s impossible to bring them back to life.

Even the greatest healer of all time, Astra, was incapable of reviving a completely dead person!

But this is no longer true.

You have achieved what even the greatest healer in the history of the universe was not capable of off!

You can even revive the dead! To you, this is not a miracle anymore but a unique ability of yours!]

[Title Effects: As long as there is even the slightest bit of trace left of a person’s existence, You can revive them back to life under certain conditions!]

As the boost from all this power was temporary, Riya did not waste a single second and immediately used her entire might.

[Universal Grade Healing Magic: Blessing of the ’Laws’ of ’Universe’: Resurrection!]

Usually, an S-ranker can only use ’master’ grade magic, and only demigods like Raji are capable of using ’divine’ grade magic.

But what Riya had done was nothing short of insanity!

Despite being just a mere early-stage S-ranker, she directly bypassed the demigod stage and used healing magic that surpassed even the levels of a ’demigod’!

Her magic was beyond what even Astra, the greatest healer in the history of the universe, could have ever cast!

It was ’Universal Grade Healing Magic,’ which was blessed with the power of the entire cosmos and the very ’laws’ of nature!

The moment she cast this magic, Ellie’s body and the clone body both floated together and merged into each other seamlessly without the slightest bit of resistance.

In fact, the overwhelming glow of vitality and the ’laws’ of nature even blessed the newly crafted body so much that Ellie, who was once a shadow dragon, was completely purified of all darkness-related elementals and directly gained ’light’ elemental affinity!

Riya literally changed a person’s inherent elemental affinity just by the sheer power of her healing magic!

And this wasn’t even the end of it!

Unlike in Liam’s case, where Rio had to bind the soul to the body and Riya had to alter the body’s shape, everything happened automatically this time!

Ellie’s repaired soul floated straight into the newly formed body as the body took Ellie’s usual body shape on its own.

Even the strings of destiny attached themselves one by one to the newly forged body all by themselves!

”Insanity...”

Even Rio couldn’t help but feel shocked when looking at this scene as he felt a chill run down his spine.

”She copied my soul binding, Lia’s destiny manipulation, and Link’s cosmic rhythm ability in the span of just three days!?”

”Is this what it means to be the favored child of the ’world’ itself?”

Although all this power was temporary and the blessing of the various ’laws’ of the ’world’ will likely not last long enough to become a permanent boost, just being able to do this once was already an insane feat!

In the past three days, Rio, Lia, and Link all used their respective skills for a long time, and Riya got to observe all of those skills very closely in this period of time.

In these three days, Riya didn’t show her frustration on her face, but inside her mind, she was cursing herself that, despite being a healer, despite promising herself that she would heal all she could.

She was incapable of healing her friends when they were stuck in a desperate situation.

She was frustrated that she needed the support of three people who weren’t even healers to help her do what she should have been the one doing!

It was her duty to save the lives of her friends!

Riya knew that she was unable to do something like Rio, who managed to dive into hell to bring back Liam and Ellie’s souls.

She knew that she was incapable of being a strong warrior girl like Lia, and she knew that she couldn’t become an unbreakable shield that protected her friends at all costs like Link!

All she had was her healing magic and her determination to save lives!

If she can’t even do that, then she’s not worthy of calling herself the ’Inheritor of the Heart of Eternal Nirvana’!

This desperation, this thirst for power and this motivation, all caused Riya to feel that she desperately needed to improve herself!

And her moment finally came!

She observed her friends’ skills closely and patiently for a long time before finally creating a skill of herself that she could say was unique to her!

Riya Croft became the first being in the universe to master the mythical power of ’resurrection’!

...

A massive blast of energy and shockwave spread in all directions as Rio hurriedly rushed to defend Lia, and Link hurriedly grabbed Riya and covered her with his own body!

*BOOOOM!!!!!*

The explosion was so powerful that almost the entire underground facility was obliterated, and everything was erased on the spot before the overwhelming power of the blast calmed down.

With a look of shock and disbelief, Link and others looked at the center of the blast and saw Ellie’s body that was floating in air slowly descend and lie down on the ground gently.

Her vitality and soul signatures were now completely normal.

Now Rio didn’t need to bind her soul, and Lia didn’t need to bind her destiny to the new body; the ’laws’ of nature had done it all for them on their own!

Riya had done it all by herself!

Seeing this situation, a rare smile appeared on Rio’s face as he raised his sword towards the sky and spoke.

”We won... Operation ’Hydra’ is successfully completed!! We won! haha~”

With that said, Rio collapsed on the ground directly as the six months of exhaustion that had been piling up in his mind came rushing at him, and he fainted on the spot!

Riya, Link, and Lia were also exhausted by this insane mission that lasted for several days and took almost all of their efforts, and they also collapsed immediately as they all ran out of mana.
