Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 663: Bela Anant! Part-4.

Bela was born in 2020, and by the time she showed her powers for the first time, it was already 2029; nearly a decade had passed, and many other awakeners had already started appearing after her.

The world was still in turmoil, and humanity was in chaos due to the sudden appearance of so many races that wanted to share the planet with them.

In that age where every single awakener was highly sought after by every organization, Bela stood out like a lighthouse in a dark moonless night.

There were simply no awakeners in that time period who had awakened the ability to heal others.

Moreover, Bela’s ability was not just a simple weak healing magic; she had an extraordinary affinity with healing and nature itself!

Her healing magic was so powerful that it almost seemed like she could revive a dead person back to life while also reversing their age at the same time!

In that time, humans were facing many difficulties keeping their territories safe, and they were frequently losing against the foreign races that had suddenly appeared on the planet that used to belong to them alone at one time!

The wilted flower incident made Bela famous in her city, and as more and more wounded and sick started to seek her help, she became so famous in just a few months that her name became known to the entire nation!

Wounded soldiers, injured awakeners, and the first few S-rankers that had appeared in that age all wanted to have access to this insanely powerful healing ability!

In a time when life and death were extremely uncertain and even powerful awakeners were not sure that they could survive massive battles, Bela’s ability was almost like a second chance at life!

She could not only heal the wounded; she could also cure incurable diseases like cancer and gene mutation syndromes!

She was a walking ’miracle’ in the form of a human child!

A simple touch from her could blow new life into half-dead people, and the overwhelming vitality of her healing magic could even extend people’s life span by a certain amount!

The moment her abilities became known to the world, not only humans but all races simply seemed to have lost their minds, and a race to capture her and control her began!

Since the day of the flower incident, only a few months had passed, and Bela had just celebrated her 10th birthday, but her fame had already grown so fast that her parents couldn’t help but stress endlessly.

The days of leisure and peace were long gone; every single day a long line of people would form outside their home’s door!

Most of them wanted to have a wound or disease treated, but there were also agents from large organizations who wanted to recruit Bela and bribe her parents.

There were also awakeners surrounding their house every single day, and sometimes people would even try to jump over the fence to sneak inside.

In just a span of a few months, more than a dozen people attempted to kidnap Bela some way or other.

At that point just stepping out of the house for even basic needs like shopping and regular work had already become completely impossible for Bela’s parents.

They couldn’t even send Bela to school anymore because of the fear of someone kidnapping her.

The organizations that offered help and protection all demanded Bela’s power for their own benefits, and since Bela’s parents were no fools, they immediately understood the ulterior motives of these organizations.

To her parents, Bela was their precious daughter, whom they loved a lot, and they didn’t want her to become someone’s tool!

They wanted her to live a happy life; they never hoped that she would become a weapon of war!

It didn’t take long for Bela’s parents to reach their tolerance limit after so many kidnapping attempts, and they decided to make a risky decision to save Bela from this hellhole-like situation!

Using all of their money and with the help of a lady awakener that they had a friendship with, Bela’s parents managed to escape with their daughter on a small ship!

Before things could escalate further and a life-threatening situation could fall on Bela’s head, they decided to leave this nation and head towards a secluded place where no one would know them!

They wanted Bela to live a life of peace, and that was only possible if they separated the evil clutches of the world from her and took her far far away from those that had evil intentions for her!

But their struggle was pointless.

The moment Bela showed her powers to the world and healed that wilted flower, her destiny had already changed.

She could no longer remain an ordinary farm girl after that moment; she was destined for greatness, and no matter how far she might try to run from her destiny, it would still catch up to her!

Just a day before the ship could reach its destination, it got stuck in a massive unexpected storm!

”Papa... I can feel many powerful life forces approaching from that direction...”

Snuggled in her father’s arms, Bela pointed her small finger towards the direction of the Maiqeulla continent.

Bela’s father knew full well about his daughter’s capabilities, and he knew that what Bela had said was likely true.

If she sensed the presence of powerful people approaching from that direction, that clearly meant that there were pursuers chasing them!

”Don’t worry my little princess; papa will take care of everything...”

Bela’s father tried to play it off, but the grim look in his eyes betrayed his words.

He walked over to a chest and placed Bela inside of it.

The chest was made by their awakener friend, who was a mage, and it was enchanted with presence concealment magic.

”Hide for now...”

As her father smiled and patted her small head, Bela’s mother caressed her daughter’s cute little face as she said,

”No matter what happens, don’t come out of this chest... and always remember, no matter what happens, Mom will always love you... after all, you are my little princess...”
