Chapter 639: The Empress of War! Part-2.

In the era where hundreds of different races were regularly clashing with each other, it was common for high-ranking members of the various races to end up facing the armies head-on.

Demons, elves, fairies, dragons, etc. many races in the world had a royal family and king leading them who were the most powerful individuals in their respective races.

Although humans didn’t have such a concept, in this chaotic age, power and strength were respected.

Even demons respected the royal demons, and despite the fact that Lia was a rank weaker than them, both Trnak and Nine didn’t dare to underestimate her.

They were both veteran S-rankers and had fought on many battlefields; they knew full well that not a single member of the royal family of any race is ’ordinary.’

Even if the other party may seem weak in rank or raw strength, they always have some kind of powerful hidden talent and trump card up their sleeves; thus, it was not a good idea to underestimate them ever.

This knowledge was the main reason why both Nine and Trnak greeted Lia with respect before finally starting the military campaign!

The mission to destroy the ordinary fairies and this temple of nature was originally straightforward, but the presence of Lia had changed it all.

Both Nine and Trnak dared not look down on Lia, and since they were both also enemies of each other, they weren’t capable of cooperating either, so it was going to be a chaotic battle, and each of them knew it.

[Divine Spirit’s Blessing: Phenomena Manipulation: Rain of Elemental Tears!]

Pointing her sword towards the sky, Lia changed the very weather in her own favor.

Dark clouds made up of condensed elementals started covering the vast sky, and a rain of condensed water and wind elemental spears started raining down on the entire area!

Not only did this act enrich the wind and water elementals in the area, it also killed hundreds of weaker demons and humans alike!

It was almost as if hell had opened its hole to this world; everything on the ground in a several dozen kilometers of area was bombarded by Lia with attacks that were all equal to an A-ranker’s full-blown attack!

*BOOOM!!* *BOOOM!!* *BOOOM!!* *BOOOM!!*

As if someone were throwing grenades on the ground, massive craters were created wherever the spear rain fell, causing dust and debris to fly in all directions.

Seeing this scene, Nine clicked his tongue and shot towards Lia by kicking the air and using it as his foothold.

[Shattered Mountain Martial Art: Palm of Internal Avalanche!]

Nine was a veteran martial artist; he had created his own martial art technique and was blessed with immense affinity with the earth elementals!

Just like shaking the internals of a mountain would cause an avalanche and cause a mountain to break apart, his palm attack carried his dense mana that could easily penetrate even the toughest armors and attack the person inside without losing much power!

”Too Slow...”

Lia didn’t even bother defending Nine’s attack with her sword; she just slightly swung her hand and redirected Nine’s incoming palm to the side, causing the attack to get redirected in the wrong direction!

Her wrist armor absorbed all remaining impact and damage, and her own body remained completely unharmed.

”Wha!?”

Nine was so stunned by that he even forgot to defend and got hit by Lia’s kick in the stomach and was blown away with immense force.

His body fell like a meteor and hit the ground, creating a massive crater as debris flew in all directions, injuring even more humans and demons fighting nearby!

Through the helmet’s eye holes, Lia’s bright golden eyes shone with silver brilliance.

”Thou art too slow for mine liking...”

While saying that, Lia raised her sword and pointed it in a certain direction.

*BOOOM!!!*

An arrow covered in thick miasmic corruption hit the tip of Lia’s sword and shattered into pieces, creating a massive miasmic explosion in mid-air.

The arrow was fired by Trnak when Lia seemed like she was distracted while fighting Nine, but she easily predicted its trajectory with her foresight and didn’t even look before easily stopping it.

The miasmic explosion spread miasmic fog in the air, which tried to corrupt Lia’s silver armor, but before it could even get close, a massive amount of spirit magic, mana, and light elementals gathered around the tip of Lia’s sword.

[Divine Spirit’s Blessing: Divine Purification: Particle Beam of Annihilation!]

*BOOOOM!!!*

A massive bright beam of pure silver light was fired in Trnak’s direction, completely obliterating and evaporating the miasma around Lia while also obliterating every monster and demon that came in the beam’s way.

Of course, Trnak was unlike the previous demon Lia had killed; he was a veteran general of the demon army, and the moment Lia fired the beam at him, he immediately brought an artifact from his space ring!

*SSHOOOM!*

The artifact was some kind of big mirror, and the moment the beam hit the artifact, it got reflected at a thirty-degree angle, causing it to fall onto the human army!

*BOOOM!!!*

A massive electromagnetic cannon that was being charged was hit and blew apart as hundreds of people standing beside it were blown apart and had their internal organs splattered all over the area.

”Hoh? thou art more capable than I hast expected...”

[Divine Spirit’s Blessing: Divine Purification: Fog of Pure Light!]

Lia took a massive amount of divine spirit magic and brought out a high-grade light elemental crystal from her space ring and bombarded the crystal with her purification spirit magic!

*BOOOM!!*

The high-grade light elemental crystal blew apart and turned into fine dust, creating a wave of fog that spread outwards in all directions from Lia’s side.

*AHHHH!!!!* *AHHHHH!!!!* *RRAHHHH!!!*

As if a chemical weapon had been unleashed, the moment this fog-like phenomenon touched a demon, their body started burning up and turning into dust at an alarming speed.

Even humans who came in contact with this substance had their very cells lit on fire due to the high concentration of light elements and tons of energy being released by them.

This fog was not too problematic for a powerful demon like Trnak to handle, but it was her way of putting a debuff on him as a counter to all the debuffs that were being put on her by both the armies.
