Chapter 632: The Future Divine Spirit King Will Be... Part-2.

”T-to think... you would actually allow someone to sit on a throne above you and let them control you as a master...”

”I never expected that the indomitable Divine spirit general would actually be tamed like this by someone...”

Nova looked at Lia with shock and disbelief!

She couldn’t notice anything special in Lia herself, and that caused her to feel even more shocked.

Lia was able to become the master of a powerful divine spirit general despite being just an ordinary human being!

”No wonder you are able to manifest wings like royal fairies... fairies and divine spirits are children of the ’World’ created through similar process...”

”You have gained mastery over the divine spirit skills with such precision... you can already do spirit dive despite only being an A ranker...”

While Nova was shocked, Lia was also a bit confused as to how the little fairy noticed her rank so easily.

[Nova... that little fellow is a peak S-ranker... maybe she’s even got one foot in the demi-god realm already...]

’I see... no wonder I couldn’t even sense her aura properly; she’s quite strong...’

[Err... only strong in terms of realm, I would say... fairies are more like ’Healers’ of your human race; they don’t have much combat skills and aren’t that good in real battle...]

[If we work together even we can defeat her, I think...]

’I see... By the way... what is a ’Divine Spirit King’?’

Since the moment Lia had heard that word, it remained stuck in her head, and she was eager to know more about it.

[Well... I wasn’t going to tell you about it till you reach rank S but you aren’t too far from it either so I might as well tell you now...]

Kai’s voice turned solemn as he spoke.

[There are many divine spirits in the world but the strongest of them all often battle each other once in a thousand years and determine who is the strongest among them all...]

[I have won the previous two of these so called ’Tournaments’ and have been recognized by all spirits and divine beasts as the so called ’General’ of the divine spirits!]

Kai seemed quite proud of his achievements, as his voice was filled with pride while speaking about these things.

[Throughout my life I have never been defeated by a single spirit beast or divine spirit ever before and the number of evil spirits I have purified and killed is uncountable...]

[But, as the ’Laws’ of the ’world’ dictate, a divine spirit can never reach its true power, true strength, until it has a compatible master, a powerful summoner with them!]

Kai had already won two of the previous tournaments, and he was already recognized as the strongest among all of his peers, but he wasn’t satisfied with just that.

He wanted to go one step forward, and that’s when he came across Tomar, who was Lia’s ancestor.

Tomar was a very compatible host, and he was extremely talented in the field of spiritual magic mastery.

But his luck ran out when he became too arrogant and too selfish, causing him to get defeated by the dragon king later on.

But Kai was not going to make the same mistake again.

After centuries of waiting, Kai has finally met someone who can manifest his powers to the fullest extent once they grow up.

Lia was in fact more talented than even her ancestor, and her affinity for divine spiritual magic was off the charts. The moment Kai laid his eyes on her, he knew that he was going to make her his master.

[Divine Spirit General is the rank among divine spirits that one can achieve through their own personal strength but there’s one more rank above it, which is the rank of Divine Spirit King!]

[It’s my lifelong goal and ambition... it’s my ’Path’ in life to achieve that rank... it’s my dream to become a Divine Spirit King in this life!]

[And a King is not made by personal strength and achievements alone... they need the support of many...]

Kai explained to Lia that the title of the ’Divine Spirit King’ was given to the spirit and the master who can manage to reach the peak of rank SS together!

[You have the talent for it Lia... as long as you reach rank SS in the future, we both can combine our strengths and aim for the throne of the Divine Spirit King!]

Hearing Kai’s explanations, Lia finally understood why Kai’s goals and ambitions and her connection with her summoned spirit became even deeper, making her spirit-related skills even stronger.

[Becoming a divine spirit king, your and my ’World authorities’ will become interconnected and you will become capable of using two separate ’world authorities’ despite being a single person!]

[The same would also be true for me too! ’Divine Spirit King’ is not just a title but a rank that will make you and me both much stronger than even peak SS rankers when we work together!]

[Ashtel Rex? Dragon King? We will be stronger than them all!]

Lia nodded her head at those words.

Until now, Lia didn’t know Kai’s real motives for helping the Silver family, but now she was clear about them.

Although Kai was also doing it all for his own sake too, Lia wasn’t angry about that; in fact, she felt happy.

After all, having ambitions and dreams was a good thing; just like her, Kai was also aiming to improve himself.

He was also walking a ’Path’ of his own, just like her.

[Making your summoner a spirit king means giving them full control of your life and body... that’s why no one else has ever dared to do it before... after all, no one wants to give their own freedom to others...]

[You can only do such a thing with someone you trust from the bottom of your soul... And I have decided to trust you, Lia. I am quite sure you will be a good Divine Spirit King and will never be corrupted by arrogance and power...]

By giving Lia access to his ’World Authority’ and all his powers, Kai would basically be selling his life to her, and she could control him to do anything at that point.

That’s why trust was very important in this ’Path’ to success.

Lia looked at the spirit magic radiating around her body and clenched her fist as she promised to herself.

’The future divine spirit king will be me!’
