Chapter 618: Silver Lion Vs. Berserk Demon! Part-2.

[Berserk Demon Hammer Art: Shield of Miasmic Aura!]

The demon immediately imbued his hammer with miasma and tried to defend himself with it, but it still caused him to suffer a lot of burns even after defending with miasma.

The miasma shield cost him a lot of energy, and he was only willing to use it when in great danger; thus, he immediately deactivated the shield.

Thus, Lia fired another one at him right away!

*BOOOOM!!!*

”YOOOU ARREEE ANNOYYINNNGG!!!”

The demon was truly angered; just as Lia was about to fire the second particle beam, he grabbed a silver spear heading towards him with his bare hand and hid himself behind it!

Although just being close to that silver spear and holding onto it was enough to do tremendous damage to his body, the demon didn’t want to get hit by a particle beam, and in his angered state, he didn’t care about being rational at all!

*Twinngg!!*

The particle beam hit the silver spear head-on and got reflected back at a 30-degree angle, causing Lia to jump aside and dodge!

Although Lia does have the capability to predict a few seconds in the future, the physical battle also has to keep up with the changes in the future predictions.

Lia had already noticed that the demon was about to hide behind the silver spear beforehand, but she couldn’t stop him from doing it, as the silver spears were unable to do fast maneuvers in the air to dodge him.

Moreover, she had already charged her attack, and it was already about to be fired; it was not a wise idea to stop a skill midway, as it can cause mana backlash.

But as Lia already knew that the particle beam would backfire, she moved away from her original spot and easily dodged the damage that was about to happen in the future!

For Lia, the power to see the future was a massive advantage in the battle; no matter what move the demon made, she could easily predict it beforehand and do her own counterattack before the demon could even do his attack!

But from the demon’s perspective, Lia seemed like a powerful and bizarre nightmare-like creature!

Not only was her movement speed insanely fast, but she was also able to do incredibly powerful damage, and she was hitting him with extreme precision while rendering all his counterattacks powerless!

Lia was fighting with the demon’s future version while he was stuck in the present and unable to keep up with the changes!

Despite being an S-ranker, he couldn’t even fight back and could only get beaten blue and black by an opponent that was clearly a realm lower than himself.

This reality made the demon extremely angry and frustrated!

”I WILLL KIIILLLLL YOUUUUUU!!!!!!”

Massive bat-like wings suddenly grew out of the demon’s back as its body size increased and its muscles expanded, making it even taller than before!

The demon was already five meters tall before, and now it was already nearly 8 meters in height and looked extremely frightening and intimidating!

”Hoh? Are you trying to frighten me or something to put me in a mental debuff? That might have worked on others, but not me...”

”I have seen people much more intimidating and powerful than you could ever imagine!”

Seeing that the demon had broken a piece of the silver spear to keep dealing with her particle beams, Lia stomped the ground and launched straight towards the demon in the sky!

Watching her rush towards him, the demon immediately grabbed his hammer and swung it horizontally towards her to hit her, but Lia already knew that he was going to do that, so instead of rushing straight, she abruptly stopped midway!

This caused the demon to miss his attack, and when he had missed his attack, Lia took advantage of that opening!

[Silver Lion Swordsmanship: Lion’s Claw: Uppercut Thrust!]

Lia thrust her sword upwards towards the demon’s head like a boxer’s uppercut, and her sword pierced right through the muscle under the demon’s jaw, and her sword punctured right through everything and hit the brain as it thrust upwards!

”ahh!!! Ahh!!! H...HHAH!!”

The demon left eyeball was shattered, many of its nerves were damaged, and a hole was created in the brain, causing severe brain damage!

Despite all that, the demon still didn’t die!

His body started flailing from sheer pain, and miasma started taking control over him as his vitality fell down!

The demon grabbed the sword in panic and tried to pull it out and even forgot that the entirety of the sword was covered in spirit magic, which started purifying and melting his hand away at mere touch!

[Uh oh, it’s going berserk...]

Lia noticed that the demon was about to throw a punch at her in close range, and retracting her sword wouldn’t give her enough time to dodge, so she let go of her sword, kicked the demon in the stomach, and distanced herself!

”AHHH!!! AHHH!!!”

The lingering spirit magic in the sword still kept burning and purifying the demon’s brain and head as it remained lodged in his head like an iron rod that refused to be removed!

The internal damage and pain made the demon completely insane!

After dodging the punch, Lia cracked her knuckles and smirked before saying,

”It’s been a while since I fought without a sword... but oh well... catch these hands, demon!”

After dodging the punch, Lia used her wings to move to accelerate herself and punched the demon in the face.

[Divine Spirit’s Blessing: Physical Enhancement!]

*BOOOM!!!*

Using physical enhancement, Lia boosted her strength and blew the demon towards the ground with a right hook straight to the face!

*Crack!* *shatter!*

The demon fell down from the sky like a meteor and hit the ground, creating a massive crater as the ground cracked and debris flew in all directions!

But Lia didn’t stop there; she placed her legs together.

[Divine Spirit’s Blessing: Gravitational Manipulation: Gravitational repulsion burst!]

Lia used gravitational repulsion to blow herself toward the ground with immense speed and power!

And like a missile falling from the sky, it fell straight towards the demon!

”Take this! Heavenly Meteor!”
