Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 588: Alter the Worldʼs Record (Bonus)

Nathan wanted to say something, but Charlotte simply didnʼt give him the chance to refute them. She said, ”I will explain your circumstances to Risa. She definitely doesnʼt want you to sacrifice yourself like this.

”Iʼm not banning it forever. Just please… give me some time to get the answer as to whether it has a side effect or not. Please…”

Nathan bit his lips. ”Fine. Iʼll follow your suggestion for the time being.”

Charlotte sighed in relief.

Anubis extended his paw. ”In that case, use my blood. Since you can see my detailed information, you can monitor whether my potential and other things, including my level, decrease or not after losing my blood. Then, do some other tests.”

”…” Charlotte thought for a moment. That was indeed reasonable. Both of them had blood much stronger than normal, so this would be a good sample to get the answer.

After some consideration, she nodded. ”We could do that.”

Nathan sighed. ”Well, what are we going to do now? Since weʼre already here, why donʼt we finish our original goal?”

”Thatʼs true…” Charlotte turned to Anubis. ”How is it? Do you want to donate a bit more of your blood to increase Sashaʼs talent to 100%? Then, give a bit more for the experiment sample? Weʼll see if anything changes.”

Anubis nodded. ”I donʼt mind. I have a higher level compared to others, so it doesnʼt really matter if I lose a bit.”

Anubis was more concerned about Nathanʼs unidentified member. It looked like the world couldnʼt calculate it.

With that agreement, Anubis gave more blood while Charlotte hurriedly picked up another herb. ”How about this? Since both her growth is already 100% and Sir Anubisʼ blood will increase her talent to 100%, that means we only need a single herb to boost her potential to 100%. This might trigger her evolution, which will gradually increase her progress to 100%.”

Sasha was the first one to answer. ”I donʼt think it should be that way. We should stick to the original plan, which is to use the contract to increase my potential.”

”Is that so?” Instead of getting the safest method to evolve, Sasha wanted to repay them by sticking to the experiment.

Nathan felt a bit awkward after what had happened earlier. Meanwhile, Charlotte added, ”In that case, I have thought of several agreements that might be helpful. Dear Husband, please try them.”

”Y-Yeah.” Nathan glanced at the agreements and tested them one by one.

[In exchange for 500 Ena, Nathan is allowed to have the ability to alter the detail of Familiar Sasha from the worldʼs record.]

The contract failed. Nathan had increased the amount, but the contract continued to fail.

Hence, there must be something wrong with the agreement. Charlotte suggested that he continue to the second agreement, which was the improved version.

[In exchange for 500 Ena, Nathan is allowed to have the ability to alter the detail of Familiar Sasha from the worldʼs record by using the Withered Flower as the medium.]

To their surprise, the contract actually succeeded.

”!!!” Charlotte pointed at the contract. ”It has been established. Do you see anything else?”

She hurriedly checked the memory and found something different from the illusion. ”Look. There are two more arrows. One in the Progress, the other is next to the Potential.”

Nathan looked carefully. The interface looked like a game on Earth.

Nathan pressed the arrow on the Potential first, which could be pressed multiple times, increasing the number of Potential by 1% every time he pressed it.

Ultimately, it reached 100%. Still, the most shocking thing was the fact that Nathan could still press the arrow into the Progress. At the same time, the arrow on Potential disappeared once it reached 100%.

”Hmm…” Nathan hesitated for a moment before pressing the arrow multiple times, only to stop at 68%.

”Eh?” Charlotte noticed something. ”The Withered Flower might be good, but it shouldnʼt be this good. Weʼre going to test several things, so Iʼm expecting to have them only increase about 5-10%.

”Besides, it should only help with her potential, not Progress.” Charlotte turned to Sasha. ”Did you feel anything whenever he pressed the arrow?”

”Not every time, but my instinct was telling me I got somewhat stronger. And when it was done, it felt like I needed to start my transformation. There was this weird feeling surging, telling me to just accept it.”

Charlotte frowned before nodding her head. ”In that case, you should accept it. Weʼll take care of the rest.”

Sasha nodded to Charlotte before politely bowing to Nathan. She closed her eyes, accepting the feeling that gradually surged in her heart.

Black-colored ena leaked out of her body and created a small torrent that isolated her from the rest of the world. This black energy gradually lifted her up in the air and actually formed a cocoon that attached itself to the ceiling and the floor.

If Nathan looked at her progress, he would notice that the number increased by 1% every few minutes.

Charlotte gasped. ”Let me summarize the entire thing. From what I can see, youʼre indeed able to alter the worldʼs record, but not directly. By using the medium, youʼre able to alter something that itʼs not supposed to do.

”For example, the Withered Flower is supposed to only affect her Potential, not Progress.

”But the fact that it can also affect the Progress means it might also affect the Growth and Talent if they were not already 100%.

”In addition, the effect of the Withered Flower might greatly increase due to the contract.

”This is a terrifying ability. If you think about it, you can evolve anyone with just a single material and the soul contract.

”For example, a herb might be able to increase a plant spirit or maybe an elfʼs Potential, but with your contract, it can increase the Progress, the Growth, and the Talent as well with that single plant.

”To put it simply, we just have to find an item that can be procured in bulk and use it as a catalyst multiple times until all the numbers reach 100%.

”This is why I think your innate ability is terrifying! Of course, the stronger the familiar, the more ena required, but you basically have no limit.”
