Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 552: Noelle and Murmur (Bonus)

”This…” Brunhild couldnʼt help but gasp. The battle against the warrior class alien made her blood boil.

Even though she was able to kill this alien with no problem at her peak, most of her power was still sealed.

Fighting this alien was still the same as fighting someone stronger than her. If she was there, she could participate both in offense and defense.

The most shocking thing from this fight was how the battle completely sped up the moment there was no more mature class alien anymore.

Normally, on a big battlefield, the situation would be chaotic. She had experienced it firsthand.

Even when she led a group of valkyries, others wouldnʼt be moving according to her plan, which resulted in them messing up.

In the end, they couldnʼt fight smoothly even though they would still win in the end.

However, this battle was different. They were moving perfectly. Some were in charge of the defense while some were attacking the alien.

In addition, there were even some familiars whose job was to distract the alien.

With them moving perfectly and coordinated, they didnʼt unleash more ena than necessary. In fact, they hardly received any injuries, even without Anubis healing them.

And the one that made such a thing possible was none other than Nathan. Her eyes couldnʼt help but be fixated on the back of this person.

He personally controlled all of them, which allowed them to get into their positions without messing up othersʼ formations.

In addition, he skillfully manipulated the movement of a warrior class alien to the point where he almost couldnʼt fight back.

Of course, they had to be commended because they could follow his orders perfectly. But it was completely surprising for someone to be able to gain their respect and agreement. Amphitrite was the most prideful among them, so it should be hard to get her cooperation.

In addition, they never fought with Flora, but for some reason, Nathan was able to utilize her spirits as well as she did.

Looking at Nathanʼs back was as if looking at a conductorʼs back in the orchestra. She was the maestro of the battlefield.

This battle left a big impact on her heart to the point where she wanted to join this battle. Unfortunately, Nathan didnʼt give her the permission.

If she joined, she would only become a burden. No, she would even be punished by him in one way or another. It would be humiliating if he used Fenrir to bully her. Hence, Brunhild couldnʼt participate.

She could only observe them with such a longing look, wondering how it would feel to be led by such a person.

”Becoming the lordʼs spear…” She muttered subconsciously. For a moment, she forgot about her own summoner, who had to fight the other warrior class alien, this time with only several helpers.

However, there was no need for her to worry. After all, the battle was actually progressing much faster than the one before her… all that was due to one personʼs effort. Yes, it was Noelle.

Noelle and her familiars were dominating the battle after getting accustomed to fighting alongside her familiars.

Sera boosted their abilities from afar while Noelle, clad in black armor, leaped forth. She swung her blazing sword at the alienʼs neck. The latter skillfully tilted its body backward as it saw the blaze fly in a crescent form.

In the end, the attack missed him and cut down all the trees behind him before lighting them up.

The alien, on the other hand, kicked Noelle from below.

Noelle didnʼt flinch or glance at this kick. After all, a purple glint flashed in their eyes as a sword struck the leg, changing its direction.

With Murmur protecting her, she could focus on attacking the alien. She hurriedly spun her blade, trying to cut the alienʼs arm, but the latter simply caught the blade with its bare hand, showing no change after the blaze spread on his arm.

The alien tossed the blade to the side, which forced Noelle to follow, as she refused to let go of her blade. After that, the alien kicked Murmur from the left side, only to find the horseman of the apocalypse reach him first, hitting his leg.

”!!!” The alien looked annoyed, especially because that slash left a graze on his skin.

The alien wanted to catch him, but the latter had already rushed away. As a result, the alien had no choice but to focus back on Murmur.

Before he was able to attack, Noelle had returned and slashed the alienʼs back, only making its skin redden.

Hence, she switched the trajectory at the last moment, hitting the alienʼs leg and rendering it useless for the next attack.

Murmur immediately took advantage of this opportunity to slash the alienʼs chest, only to get repelled once more.

The alien wanted to attack Murmur one more time, but Noelle skillfully struck his attack from behind, which stopped that attack. If the alien attacked Noelle, it was Murmurʼs turn to block it, and vice versa. This was their strategy.

Both of them maintained their position opposite each other so that the alien could only focus on one of them.

They both switched from offense to defense perfectly, creating a continuous flow of blades that not only hurt but also restricted the alienʼs movement.

”Ooooo!” The alien roared. He never thought he would be at the mercy of these two. Even though their blades couldnʼt hit them, it would be troublesome if the horseman of the apocalypse gave more wounds than this, since these two could easily widen those wounds.

Sadly for the alien, these two werenʼt the only thing she had to be concerned about.

The moment they heard that roar, both Noelle and Murmur leaped back, gaining some distance.

Meanwhile, an ena fluctuation erupted on top of him. If the alien looked up, he would find Nidhogg releasing his breath while Jinwu shot his sun ray at him.

Boom!

The chaos fire and the sun ray hit the alien at the same time, burning it much fiercer than Noelleʼs flame.
