Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 581: Late Suggestion

”This is…” Nathan looked at his hands with a surprised expression. He tried to circulate the ena inside his body and surprisingly flowed at a much higher speed. At the very least, he noticed the smoothness of the flow had increased and the amount of ena that could be circulated at a time increased by at least 50%.

”In the normal process, you usually wonʼt notice it because itʼs a gradual process. However, the treatment from earlier has just bypassed that gradual process. To be honest, without Anubis, I canʼt think of any way for you to reach this stage at least within 2 months.”

Nathan looked down. ”Sorry for being reckless.”

”You are finally saying sorry now? Do you think I donʼt know how reckless you have been?” Vivian sighed. ”Well, itʼs not like youʼre doing something reckless out of pure greed or just because you want it. As long as you have a clear goal in mind and a valid path to reach it, you donʼt have to apologize. Iʼll also cooperate with you.” Vivian sighed.

Nathan smiled wryly. If it was anyone else, would they act like Vivian? He felt glad that Vivian became his teacher.

”Now that you understand the theory about the ena vein, what are you planning to do?”

Nathan fell into deep thought. ʼShould I go for the training right now? No. If I think about it, I have enlarged my ena vein, so should I absorb some cores first? Because weʼre waiting for the reward, we havenʼt split the cores we got from the mission yet.

ʼTaking one or two should be fine, right? Still, does the ena vein correlate with how much ena one can absorb per core?

ʼIf thatʼs the case, does the ena vein change oneʼs quality? I donʼt think so. After all, quality is decided by three factors.

ʼAmong the three factors, I believe the herbs are helping me with the Growth. However, Iʼve been able to raise my quality just by increasing my ena like the divine beast and I canʼt see my own growth. Should I ignore it?

ʼDoes this mean I have no way to affect my absorption rate by using this normal method?ʼ

While Nathan was thinking, Vivian couldnʼt help but look at his condition. Even though she was calm when congratulating him, her heart was beating rapidly and she had a hard time calming down.

She was worried about what would happen to Nathan after this treatment, but it was quite surprising that Nathan handled it pretty well.

”So, what do you think? Do you want to learn from me right away? No. I think you should get some rest.”

Nathan glanced at Vivian before shaking his head. ”I need to get stronger fast. Unlike the others, I have been focusing too much on my innate ability recently, which causes my other abilities to remain stagnant. While I have made some improvements to my current fighting style, I believe I need to progress a bit more in this area.”

”Innate ability, huh?” Vivian crossed her arms. ”I was still building it bit by bit. I almost finished working on the charging station with at least 100,000 ena particle storage.

”Considering the amount of ena you can get from an elite class core, Iʼm thinking about creating several storages. Itʼs going to be impossible for the current technology to create a single storage with 1,000,000 ena particles capability.

”Instead, I will make four 250,000 ena particle storages. It should be done in a month or two.”

”I understand. Please take your time, Master. In the end, we all have to get stronger since our enemies have increased.”

”Donʼt worry.” Vivian nodded.

Nathan smiled. ”In that case, please allow me to learn from you. If you have some time, that is.”

”Itʼs fine. I can always delegate a few people to handle it for two or three days.” Vivian shrugged.

”Is that so?” Nathan nodded.

”Go get changed. I will wait for you at the back of the house.”

”Yes.”

Once Vivian left, Nathan turned to Anubis while grabbing his clothes. ”Thanks, Anubis.”

”Itʼs fine. If your growth rate becomes faster, I will be able to regain my peak strength quicker. And Iʼm also curious what Iʼm able to achieve in the future…” Anubis was indirectly implying that he wanted to evolve once more, surpassing the realm of god.

On the other hand, Nathan took a look at his status in the mirror.

Name: Nathan Reckmoon

Level: 141

Race: Human

Quality: Good (High)

”There is no change in quality, huh? I canʼt see the exact absorption rate, but I doubt it will increase since itʼs tied to oneʼs quality.” Nathan muttered. ”Itʼs unfortunate that I canʼt see my detailed information at any time.

”No, wait. Can I create glasses that have the ability to check someoneʼs detailed information? But this is not permanent, so I doubt it will work… unless thereʼs a permanent contract.”

Nathan couldnʼt help but wonder what kind of evolution his Soul Contract would undergo. Thanks to the first evolution, he could establish a lot of new ways of using his contract.

”Permanent contract, huh? I have done that before, but that is without ena.” Nathan recalled the contract he made to hide his Soul Contract. ”The medium? The target? Iʼm not sure, but a permanent contract should be possible. Itʼs just I need a lot of trial and error to figure out how to use it properly.”

Anubis suddenly opened his mouth. ”I donʼt know why youʼre talking about a permanent contract, but canʼt you use your soul contract with your own body? I mean, have a contract with the organ that controls the pain to stop that pain for a while.

”Wonʼt this allow you to endure that medicine without feeling the pain? The same can be applied to the cores.

”Well, if you lose the perception of pain, it will be a bit troublesome as well, considering pain is a good measurement to know how serious your condition is…”

Nathan blinked a few times, stunned. ”You… Why did you not suggest it earlier?”
