Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 566: Fenrirʼs Status

”If my prediction is correct, you might… actually be able to create a god.”

Nathan couldnʼt help but stand up in shock. Even the divine beasts widened their eyes, unable to believe what she had just said.

”Do you know the meaning behind your words?” Nathan asked with a serious expression.

”Of course, I know… I know it more than anyone else in this world.” Charlotte nodded. ”Your innate ability is able to change the worldʼs record. However, Iʼm still not sure about your divine beastsʼ status.

”If theyʼre considered a divine being but still able to evolve… that means I, the fairy queen, am yet to reach the peak. Thatʼs why I need to see your divine beastsʼ status first.”

”…” Nathan fell into silence.

When he thought about it, there was something that bothered him. He was aware of the Outer Godsʼ strength. They were so strong that they could live practically anywhere, including in space.

How about his divine beasts? Could they live in space? Fenrir was said to devour the sun, but there was no record of him going all the way to outer space to devour it. Jinwu might have some experiences due to his myth being the sun or the crow living in the sun.

Even then, Nathan wondered what would happen if the divine beasts and the outer gods clashed. Could they win? He just felt that the outer godsʼ myths were stronger than the divine beastsʼ mythologies.

That was why Nathan couldnʼt help but think of one more possibility. His divine beasts might be able to evolve one more time, this time, reaching a level similar to those Outer Gods.

Or was this the last step for them to become the true myth? Nathan couldnʼt believe this one possibility.

Nathan closed his eyes. ”Letʼs do it. Who should be the first one? Fenrir?”

Fenrir agreed without hesitation. ”Sure. I donʼt mind.”

Nathan immediately formed the contract, inspecting his divine beast one after another.

[In exchange for 1,000 ena, Party A, Nathan, will be able to learn the detailed record of Party B, Divine Beast Fenrir, specifically his familiar record for 5 minutes.]

Charlotte used her illusion to see the record as well, and they were able to see the answer to their question.

Name: Fenrir

Level: 198

Race: Celestial Wolf

Quality: Good (Mid)

He opened the level first to see Fenrirʼs recorded strength.

Level: 198/972

Ena: 10,000/67,970,488

Absorption Rate: 24%

Skill Unlock: 18%

”This is my strength?” Fenrir squinted his eyes. ”Why was my level only 972 when my Ena was seven times higher than hers?”

”Exponential. The level is exponential. The higher the level, the more ena required to increase it. Then again, this is just for measurement.” Charlotte explained. ”There is nothing we should talk about, right?”

”Yes. This information has confirmed that Fenrir is indeed a Divine Beast. Still, 67 million, huh? Youʼre classified as world class once you surpass 10 million, but I thought you would be above 100 million, Fenrir.” Nathan glanced at him. ”I mean, youʼre using the hero level…”

Fenrir looked at Nathan as if he was a fool. ”Hero level is indeed someone like the world class summoners. However, if theyʼre a bit stronger, they will be similar to those demigods. Basically, the heroic figures in the past are gradually evolving into demigods and ultimately gods… you can say that they have gotten that requirement and are waiting to become gods.”

”Ah.” Nathan nodded in understanding. ”In that case, letʼs check your quality.”

Fenrir nodded, his expression becoming grimmer by the second. After all, the answer to their question was behind this small arrow.

What if the answer was no? Would that mean this was the last thing they would have?

If the answer was yes, how should they proceed to get stronger than their past self?

Even Nathan was nervous. He exchanged looks with Charlotte, who was gulping down.

”Ha…” Nathan let out a long sigh before pressing the arrow.

They instinctively covered their eyes, not wanting to see while hoping for the answer they wanted to appear before taking a peek at the panel.

Quality: Good (Mid) [Perfect (High)]

Progress: 57%

Talent: 99%

Potential: 31%

Growth: 55%

All of them couldnʼt help but drop their jaws to the ground.

”This is…” Charlotte gasped. ”Itʼs real… There is a second quality while mine didnʼt have it. Was it because his quality was supposed to be higher?

”But this progress…” Charlotte was speechless. The answer was right before her, but she was too excited to say even a single word.

Nathan smiled wryly. ”Well, these remind me of video games. Itʼs like… if you want to advance to the next rank, you need to reach this level or that level. And itʼs possible that if you want to evolve even stronger, you will either reach level 999 and evolve to reach level 1,000, which will define a new rank and also… a new quality beyond Perfect (High).

”Or you will reach level 1,000 first before evolving so that you can continue to level 1,001.” Nathan scratched the back of his head.

”What?” Charlotte dropped her jaw. It was just some basic information about video games, but Charlotte couldnʼt help but swallow that basic information like other people swallowing Nathanʼs bullshit. ”Thatʼs… the secret?

”Does that mean I have to reach level 999 or 1,000 first before being able to reach the next rank? What kind of rank is that?”

”I donʼt know. Iʼm just saying random things I remember.” Nathan shrugged. ”However, his status has given us the answer… A strength beyond divinity actually exists. The explanation behind it? Well, who knows?”

”Iʼm going to research it. The strength beyond divinity… level 1,000. Hehehehe. Once Iʼm able to discover the truth, hehehe.” Drool leaked out of the corner of her lips as Charlotte was looking at Nathan, the one who might lead her to that truth. ”This is it. This will be my lifelong research. No. This is my goal for this summoning and Iʼm going to succeed no matter what.”

Nathan smiled wryly before asking, ”Should we check the others?”
