Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 95 Defeat one by one

Chapter 95 Defeat one by one
Lin Ye really has no feelings for this place.

At the beginning, he was going to escape from the worm nest on the blue star, but he didn’t expect to be trapped by the silicon-based creature owl and teleported to this devastated planet Aiur.

Then he was caught by the Temple Guards, and under Erwin’s coercion and inducement, he was forcibly dragged to the Temple Ancestral Temple to accept the inheritance.

Now, he was able to talk to these so-called elites and the candidates for the Elders who didn’t know what to do, all because of Erwin and Jialan’s deathbed instructions.

In any case, Erwin sacrificed his life to save his life in the breeding base of the worm nest.

Jialan sent both equipment and the temple. If he broke his promise and walked away, Lin Ye would not be happy with the advantage he had taken.

Facing Rita’s puzzled gaze, he didn’t dodge, but winked and asked the other party to talk about it later.

At this time, the elite Al people sitting in the seats naturally heard the threat contained in Lin Ye’s words.

From the beginning, they relied on their deep foundation to disobey the Lord of the Temple and wanted to continue living an unrestrained and corrupt life.

Even if Lin Ye wanted to drive them out, serious civil strife would inevitably occur inside the temple, and the civilians in the city would suffer the most sacrifices.

So, no matter what, he won’t do it.

However, the situation is different now. If Lin Ye kills them all and leaves directly with the inheritance.

What about the El civilians and the elites in the temple?
Even if they won the civil strife, they were just lingering in another ruin.

Samson, who had yelled the loudest just now, changed his expression again and again.

Originally, he guessed that Lin Ye would not make a big move, but he didn’t expect that the other party would show his cards directly.

”What do you mean? Threats? We don’t want to do that!”

Although Lin Ye was smiling, the killing intent bursting out of his eyes made it difficult for the other party to breathe:
”How could it be a threat? I just hope that everyone here can understand that I can do it, but I just don’t want to do it!”

On the side of the floating island, the people headed by Qin Lie couldn’t understand what Lin Ye was communicating with the group of Ayers.

It’s just that the atmosphere in the council hall suddenly changed from fierce to full of gunpowder, and turned into deathly silence, mixed with a sense of oppression that made it hard to breathe.

Lin Ye’s answer made Samson break out in a cold sweat. He looked at the Floating Island forces sitting behind him, and the corners of his mouth twitched several times.

Especially when his gaze fell on Cheng Bei, the extremely cold and murderous face made him gasp.

”President, what’s the matter?” The companion beside him asked with concern.

Samson immediately covered up his gaffe and hurriedly waved his hand: ”It’s okay!”

Then he thought about the countermeasures in his mind, finally looked at Lin Ye, and said sternly:

”If you insist on promulgating the regulations just now, we can also agree, but you can find a compromise method to give the people a certain degree of freedom while ensuring our interests.”

Lin Ye walked back to the stage with his hands behind his back, his fiery red boots stepping on the hearts of these elites step by step.

”I have made it very clear!” He stood on the stage and looked down at everyone, with a cold voice. ”Since I want to give it, then I will give the people full freedom. Do your interests have to be based on exploitation? ?”

Samson looked up at the people on the stage and said solemnly: ”This is our biggest concession!”

”This is my greatest kindness!” Lin Ye took a step forward, his voice echoing throughout the council chamber.

Samson wanted to say something more, but was stopped by his companion.

This action was seen by the sharp-eyed Lin Ye. He suddenly chuckled and his tone softened a lot:
”Of course, you don’t have to worry too much. After the new legal decree is promulgated, I will start to establish a large-scale chamber of commerce to represent the temple and conduct large-scale transactions of equipment and materials with many countries and organizations in my home planet. !”

Samson was about to sit down, but after hearing these words, his whole body trembled again.

”Why establish a new chamber of commerce, isn’t our Ibrahimovic chamber of commerce not competent?”

Lin Ye glanced at him, then spread his hands and pretended to be extremely sorry: ”Originally, it was okay, but your words and deeds just now really disappointed me!”

Samson punched the table. The companion next to him wanted to dissuade him, but was forced back by his eyes.

”All the businesses in the temple are under the control of our Ibrahimovic Chamber of Commerce. You have only been here for a few days, and who can you find to establish a chamber of commerce? Could it be that you are an ignorant commoner?”

”Of course not. I will look for suitable candidates in the Ibrahimovic Chamber of Commerce. You can also recommend yourself or recommend each other!”

While speaking, Lin Ye looked at the dozens of business managers seated intentionally or unintentionally, and then continued: ”The new chamber of commerce must be supervised by me. As a reward, I will give you the maximum benefits in return.”

”What did you say?” Samson asked in surprise. He looked at his companions beside him and found that these people had different expressions and seemed to be considering this proposal.

He pointed at this group of people and cursed a few words, then sat on his seat, too angry to speak.

Hobbs, who had been watching the battle from the sidelines, saw that the situation was not good, and immediately interjected: ”Your Excellency, Lord of the Temple, there is something wrong with you doing this!”

He got up slowly, straightened his clothes, then looked up at Lin Ye, and continued:

”Since you want to rely on the temple’s industry to trade with the forces of the home star, just let the Ibrahimovic Chamber of Commerce handle it. Why do you want to establish a new chamber of commerce? The competition between the two will inevitably lead to losses for both sides, and the losses will be incalculable!”

”Elder Hobbs, you are sitting next to you. Do you remember what happened just now? I dare not entrust them with such a large trade!” Lin Ye choked back.

Hobbes straightened his back, closed his eyes, and said bluntly: ”In this case, we, the elders, are the first to disagree with the establishment of a new chamber of commerce!”

Lin Ye had already guessed that he would say that, so he turned his attention to the group of candidates behind, and changed the subject:
”Speaking of the elders, not only the council elders, but the newly established cabinet elders will also be selected from your candidates. They will have higher rights and status than ordinary council elders.”

Before he finished speaking, Lin Ye raised his finger in one direction and continued: ”Did you see the ancestral hall on the central square? I will build more in the future, and each hall requires cabinet elders to preside over various ceremonies.”

As soon as this remark came out, the group of people sitting behind Hobbs couldn’t hold back anymore.

They were originally candidates for the elders of the parliament, but now they can be promoted to the newly established elders of the cabinet.

Although they don’t understand the specific power of this position, they only understand one thing. Usually, the chief elder of the temple can only preside over the grand hall ceremony, accompanied by a group of elders of the council.

This kind of position that can bring benefits, even if you squeeze your head, you have to try it!

Hobbes looked at the fire burning in the eyes of these people, and suddenly felt a chill in his heart.
