Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 63

Chapter 63

”Sid, what to do with these people?”

In the corridor outside the main hall of the Jongmyo Temple, a group of terrified Ayr civilians were pinned down by the rebels and could not move.

The leader of the team is asking the rebel leader through the communicator how to deal with these people.

But before he finished speaking, a group of figures appeared at the entrance of the ancestral temple.

The person walking in the front is the leader of the rebel army that the squad leader said, Sid.

Sid was also a qualified candidate for the master of the temple, but at a critical moment, he was stopped by the ban in the hall, completely disqualified from accepting the inheritance.

He was unwilling to give up and reported to the elders many times that he wanted to seek the qualification to enter the ancestral temple hall for the second time. The only reply he could get was:

”Your aptitude is too poor to be recognized by the Lord of the Temple!”

His qualifications are poor?

He is the most comprehensive candidate for the temple, and no one in the younger generation can compete with him.

In a fit of rage, Sid accidentally killed another person in charge, and was expelled from the temple by the elders that day.

It has been three years since he joined the rebel army, but the scenes that happened at that time are still clearly revolving in his mind.

That kind of humiliation, that kind of unwillingness, let the hatred in his heart continue to spread.

After Sid entered the ancestral temple, without any hesitation, he went straight forward and slaughtered the unarmed Ayer civilians.

Then along the corridor, the scientific research laboratory was destroyed along the way, the Zerg creatures were released, and they were driven to the temple residential area.

When Sid came to the gate of the main hall, he saw Elvin, the chief elder of the temple, lying half dead at the side.

Erwin spent most of his vitality in order to open the hall, and now he is afraid that he will die soon.

But when he realized that the inheritance was successfully completed in the hall, he didn’t care about these things anymore, but struggled to block the door, looking at the leader of the rebel army with contempt.

Sid stepped forward and grabbed Erwin by the collar, lifted him up abruptly, and said viciously:

”According to the rules of succession, as a royal bloodline, I deserve to be inherited by the Lord of the Temple, but you expelled me from the Temple because of a mere ban. Why?”

This group of old-fashioned and stubborn temple elders ruined his bright future.

The three-year period has come, and he invaded the temple this time to take back everything!
Erwin, who was leaning against the door, suddenly looked up to the sky and smiled:
”I’ve already said, you are not worthy, no matter how much you try, no matter how much you spend, there will be no results!”

As soon as he finished speaking, he was thrown out by Sid heavily, hitting the wall on one side, and immediately lost consciousness.

Sid ignored the old man, but pushed open the main entrance of the hall and walked directly into it.

There is no light source in the main hall, and it is pitch black everywhere. Even the light source that you carry with you can’t dispel the surrounding darkness.

However, Sid still remembered the process of the year, so he grabbed the light source from the rebel fighter beside him and walked directly towards the center of the hall.

Not long after, he saw the talisman array engraved on the ground and the crystal cluster seat in the center of the talisman array.

”The inheritance of the Lord of the Temple must belong to me, Sid!”

While speaking harshly, he turned around and sat on the crystal seat.

As a result, before West Germany had time to feel the baptism of inheritance, the next second, half of his body was blown to pieces by an anti-infantry mine installed on the surface of the seat.

The physical strength of the Ayres can be seen. Even high-energy explosives have limited killing effects.

Sid immediately fell more than ten meters away, clutching his back and howling loudly.

Seeing this situation, all the rebels immediately picked up the beam gun to look for the hostile target. However, the hall without the light source was very dim, and the mines had been laid long ago, so they couldn’t find the attacker after searching for a long time.

Just when they were confused, Lin Ye quietly walked out from the shadow of the hall.

Under the superposition of [Dynamic Perception] and [Attribute Amplification] skills, he quietly approached the lone rebel soldiers and instantly killed them.

In just a few minutes, more than half of the dozens of rebel squads were lost.

These people haven’t figured out what happened yet, but under the command of the squad leader, they all gathered together to surround and protect West Germany, while guarding in different directions.

This gave Lin Ye an excellent opportunity to attack. He gave up the melee strangulation and bought a shotgun directly from the system mall. After equipping it with high-explosive ammunition, he bombarded the crowd frantically.

After a series of explosions, most of the people were killed by the shotgun, and only one person stood still.

Lin Ye looked at the man in the metal mask and sneered.

It seems that this person is the silicon-based creature hiding in the rebel army. This is the real spy and top spy!

”Do you silicon-based creatures only know how to play dirty tricks like this?” Lin Ye exposed this guy’s true identity on the spot.

However, as soon as he finished speaking, several high-energy reactions were instantly heard from not only the area around the invaded portal, but also from the residential area behind it.

Silicon-based organisms seem to have infiltrated the entire temple very early!

The Temple Guards are not careful anymore!

The silicon-based creature standing in the hall no longer concealed himself. He took off his mask and looked over with a strange smile.

Then, powerful energy burst out in an instant, rushing towards Lin Ye at an extremely fast speed, leaving several afterimages along the way.

Lin Ye already had combat experience against these creatures, but now that he has acquired the inheritance, his physical mobility has been greatly improved.

Therefore, after several rounds of fighting, the silicon-based organisms did not take advantage of it.

But just as he turned his offensive, two silicon-based creatures ran in from outside the gate.

However, they did not participate in the battle, but took Irwin who fell to the ground and some surviving scientific researchers away from the ancestral temple.

Lin Ye didn’t have the energy to deal with other enemies. Once distracted, he would be found by the silicon-based creatures in front of him, so he could only watch Erwin being taken away.

And just when he was angry, Rita, who learned of the accident at the ancestral temple, brought the temple guards near the portal and quickly came for reinforcements.

She stepped into the hall without saying any nonsense, and directly sprinted a few steps to use her strength to fly up, and rotated her body by inertia, and slammed a whip kick, kicking the silicon-based creature in front of Lin Ye away.

Rita didn’t give the other party a chance to breathe, and stepped forward quickly, launching a set of fierce offensives, which made even silicon-based creatures overwhelmed.

Lin Ye stood in the distance and watched her quietly, and unconsciously frowned.

Rita’s skills are very good, and she can fight back and forth with powerful silicon-based creatures, and she is not even at a disadvantage.

He suddenly began to appreciate this grumpy girl.
