Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 91 Preparing for the Council

Chapter 91 Preparing for the Council
The building boats are full of people’s attention, passing over the city.

A few minutes later, it slowly docked around the floating island.

No, now this place is no longer the original floating island, and all the functional facilities have been separated out and merged with the main building of the villa on the land of the temple.

Moreover, the area covered by the villa’s facilities has also expanded several times. The upgraded and transformed castle of the main building alone, together with the surrounding green facilities, has already begun to take on the scale of a manor.

Not far behind the castle is the towering city wall of the temple. You can clearly see the turret on the top of the city wall and the protective barrier that is blooming with brilliance.

Lin Ye took a rough look at the surrounding scenery, then stepped on the black marble stone road, passed through the flat lawn and landscape trees, and led a group of people behind him into the European-style castle.

There were more than a hundred temple guards accompanying the team, but apart from some high-ranking officers, Rita left the rest of them outside for vigilance.

Entering the main hall through the gate, the magnificent scene really surprised everyone present.

Before Lin Ye had time to sigh, Qin Lie’s exclamation filled his ears, and the excitement that had just surged in his heart disappeared in an instant.

The Aier people headed by Rita have never seen this kind of decoration style. Although it is different from the high-standard buildings of the Aier civilization, it also reveals a luxurious atmosphere everywhere.

But there is one thing that Rita doesn’t quite understand, that is, the furnishings inside seem to be a bit inconsistent with this style, and it looks indescribably weird.

Especially in the side halls on both sides of the main hall, there are many boxes with strange patterns painted on them. I don’t know if they are decorations or have other uses.

Just when everyone was so surprised that they couldn’t extricate themselves, a figure appeared in the side hall, leaning on crutches, and limping towards the main hall.

Rita and the others immediately drew their weapons and looked at each other warily.

Lin Ye turned his head and took a look when he heard the sound, and immediately walked up to Rita, pointed to the person in the side hall and said, ”Don’t be nervous, we are all from our own!”

This guy was none other than Hassan, who had been recuperating in the villa.

At this time, his face was bruised and purple, and the plaster cast on his feet was smashed. It seemed that he had suffered a lot.

When the floating island was teleported here, he followed Qin Lie and the others to the courtyard to have a look. He saw that the battle outside was extremely chaotic, so he quickly ran into the villa and hid. Naturally, he didn’t know the specific situation.

Now seeing a group of strangely dressed Ayres, he froze in place with fright.

With a trembling voice, he said, ”Mr. Lin, what happened?”

”You are...” Lin Ye was about to ask him, but immediately thought of the reason, so he swallowed the second half of the sentence.

The upgrade of the floating island is indeed not small. When it was upgraded to the second level, the whole villa was as if it had been hit by an earthquake, not to mention that now the building facilities are directly split and dismantled and merged to the ground.

”Mr. Lin, I’m also surprised!”

Hassan couldn’t help rubbing his face and complained: ”I was lying on the sofa and sleeping soundly, but suddenly there was an earthquake, and then a light flashed in the room, and when I looked to the side again, the villa became a mess.” This is it!”

”Then you should look outside now, the whole place has changed a lot!” Qin Lie said loudly from the side.

While everyone was teasing and chatting, Lin Ye turned to look at Nan Xiao:

”You stay here with Chu Qingning, and help Hassan re-bandage by the way!”

After saying this, Lin Ye looked at Chu Qingning who was standing behind the crowd.

He was a little worried about this girl who claimed to be from another planet. Even though he hadn’t found any dangerous behaviors in her since he met her, this level of identity still had to make people suspicious.

Especially the weird things that happened in the worm’s nest before, and the abnormal opening of the stone gate of the ancestral temple hall, made him have to be cautious at all times.

Letting Nan Xiao stay here is also a guarantee. It just so happens that Hassan needs someone to take care of him.

Nan Xiao noticed that Lin Ye’s expression was strange, so as he looked at the girl in the distance, she gradually understood.

”No problem, leave it to me!” She nodded in response.

After finishing the order, Lin Ye led the others upstairs to the management center on the second floor.

Although this is the residence where Lin Ye stayed for three months, after the upgrade, he couldn’t recognize the way at all. He could only turn on the system, call up the plane map, and follow the guiding route step by step.

The original management center has been directly upgraded from a [-]-square-meter room to an entire castle level.

It not only includes Lin Ye’s main office area, but also the office area and living area of other administrative personnel.

It also includes two functional living rooms, entertainment and leisure areas, and a large conference hall of nearly 150 square meters that can accommodate [-] people.

Lin Ye walked around the corridor before arriving at the entrance of the council hall. Then he opened the door and looked in. However, the space and layout inside the council hall really surprised him.

The people from the Floating Island and the senior officers led by Rita only filled the first two rows.

Seeing that everyone was seated, Lin Ye walked to Rita’s side and sat on the edge of the table in front of her:

”Apart from the Temple Elders and your guard generals, are there any other administrators in this city?”

”There are still some elites who hold management positions in the temple!” Rita responded.

Lin Ye nodded silently, and sat aside to listen to her continue to explain.

According to Rita’s introduction, there are indeed some people in the temple who hold administrative positions, similar to the mayor of Blue Star.

The Temple Presbyterians maintain the beliefs of the civilians in Ayer, the Temple Guards maintain the law and order in the city, and these elites are responsible for the production and construction of the city and manage everyone’s daily life.

Moreover, the leaders of the three parties hold a meeting from time to time to plan and formulate the future development direction of the temple.

Of course, after Lin Ye became the new Lord of the Temple, this important development plan will be fully decided by him.

Compared with the super-large cities on the surface of El Star, the city in the temple is very small, but the corresponding system is very sound, and the legal system is strict.

It’s just that people’s willpower has been wiped out under endless suffering.

So the whole city looks a little lifeless.

What Lin Ye has to do now is to bring hope to the Ayre people and revive their confidence.

In this way, they can also use more strength in production and construction.

After learning about the situation inside the temple, Lin Ye immediately asked Rita to call those elites, including candidates for the temple elders.

He needs to hold a meeting, assign specific tasks, issue the correct instructions, and let the management center operate as soon as possible.

Time can’t be delayed. Although the Zerg army of Star El star went to explore other star fields, it will be a matter of time before they return.

Continuing to stay on El Star, even if the temple is hidden in the subspace, there will still be endless troubles.

Moreover, Blue Star didn’t know what was going on, and he needed to rush back as soon as possible.
