Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 89 Great Changes in the Temple

Chapter 89 Great Changes in the Temple
As Lin Ye saw, great changes had taken place inside the temple.

The ground has doubled in size, directly from a small town to a medium-sized city.

The towering city wall was pushed tens of kilometers away, and the energy bursting out from the dome, combined with the crystal pillars on the top of the city wall, released several barriers with different protective functions. strengthening.

The floating island suspended in mid-air slowly descended, and the different types of building facilities were all dismantled and merged into the open space on the south side of the city.

The main building of the villa has been upgraded from a several-storey residential building to a European-style castle.

The ornately decorated exterior walls and exquisitely shaped columns highlight the magnificence of this building, and it is indeed very suitable as a lord’s residence.

The original walls of the villa have disappeared, and the combination of automatic turrets and sentry towers has been upgraded to automatic turrets, which are integrated with the walls of the temple, and a three-story turret appears every one kilometer.

The crystal pillar on the top of the city wall is hidden inside the turret. While guarding the city wall, it can also prevent the crystal pillar that provides energy from being destroyed by the enemy.

The scientific research center and medical center are located on the left side of the castle, all of which have been upgraded, from the previous two-story simple workshop to a four-story scientific research and medical factory more than ten meters high.

The military center with a larger area stands on the right side of the castle. Since the internal building facilities are in a state of damage, it cannot be upgraded temporarily.

This made Lin Ye more or less regretful.

However, there are also military bases in the temple, which can be replaced in the next period of time.

At this time, Lin Ye, who had a general look at the changes in the temple, finally understood what the system module [ecological environment] was.

The hundreds of square meters swimming pool attached to the original villa has been expanded into a small lake, which merges with the artificial pool on the west side of the temple.

And the overgrown back garden was directly upgraded to a woodland, which combined with the green park on the east side of the temple.

The upgrade process is far from over. What Lin Ye saw was only the buildings that belonged to the villa.

And the light curtain covering the temple building is still undergoing transformation for a moment.

The first thing that catches the eye is a large statue with a height of 20 meters in the central square.

This is the first temple lord of El Star. I saw a stone statue in the ancestral hall before, but now the system has taken the initiative to upgrade it to a copper statue.

On the open space directly opposite the central square, sand and stones were flying.

The double-layer stone platform was spread out step by step, and then a three-story ancestral hall was quickly built on it.

The columns on the outer wall of the ancestral hall and the cornices and bucket arches have special patterns. This is a systematic analysis of the stone that Lin Ye picked up at that time, and then backtracking and inheriting the scene in memory, and then presenting its perfect structure.

The light curtain is still transforming the city block, but due to its complex architectural structure, there is no result for a while.

But all the Aiir people living inside walked out of the room, observing the shocking scene in front of them.

At the same time, Lin Ye standing on the deck of the building boat also attracted people’s attention.

The fiery red battle armor on his body made the surrounding El warriors exclaim.

As the Ayers, they had naturally seen this set of armor.

Old people have seen it with their own eyes, and young people have seen it in video materials.

In their perception, there is only one person in the whole family who is qualified to wear this armor, and that is the Lord of the Temple.

The reaction of everyone on the floating island was basically similar to that of Qin Lie.

Qin Lie kept bragging to Nan Xiao about something and everything, and a set of gorgeous words of praise made Lin Ye feel sick to his stomach.

Major Sim led a group of soldiers to surround him and began to analyze the data and combat mode of the armor.

Although Lin Ye has put on a whole set of battle armor, he has not yet carried out specific debugging, and some functions have not yet been used.

Moreover, the weapons on the battle armor were not assembled, and the beam gun latches on the back and the light blade latches on the waist were all empty.

Everyone gathered around to discuss, but Cheng Bei stood aside indifferently.

Perhaps the color of this set of battle armor was too bright. He looked at Lin Ye’s expression as if he was looking at a monkey in a circus.

Of course, Lin Ye also had the same idea. The fiery red battle armor was too conspicuous on the battlefield, and it might become a moving target.

At this time, Rita also rushed over from Elder Erwin’s residence.

The transformation process of the temple had already surprised her. When she saw the fiery red armor in the middle of the crowd, she couldn’t hide the shock in her heart anymore.

Before the building docked at the entrance of the channel, she jumped off the deck and walked towards Lin Ye.

Seeing her aura, Lin Ye thought something serious happened.

As a result, when Rita walked up to him, she suddenly knelt down on one knee.

She held the light blade in her right hand in front of her, while her left hand clenched her fist across her chest, and then said loudly:

”Follow the order of the Lord of the Temple!”

Lin Ye was startled by her action, and immediately bent down to help her up.

As a result, all the temple guards around knelt down on one knee, shouting the same slogan.

”What are you doing? We are all from our own people, there is no need to engage in this formalism, so hurry up!” Lin Ye persuaded in Al language.

Rita didn’t stand up immediately, but explained with a serious face: ”Since you have become the Lord of the Temple, these etiquettes are necessary, and there are no rules to make a circle!”

But under Lin Ye’s repeated requests, she was forced to stand up.

”You may be able to meet the people of Aiur in the temple. They have been looking forward to the new temple master for decades!” Rita suggested.

Lin Ye looked at the flickering light curtain in the distance, and shook his head: ”Now the entire temple is being remodeled, and the building structure is unstable. It is too dangerous to call everyone out at this time!”

”It doesn’t need to be so troublesome, we can broadcast the entire video to inform everyone of this situation!” Rita responded.

Lin Ye frowned: ”Is there still such an operation?”

Under Rita’s command, Lou Chuan’s communication devices were all aimed at Lin Ye, and then the video signal was transferred to all channels.

After just a few minutes, the display areas such as the light boards and notice boards in the city blocks were all occupied by fiery red battle armor.

”This is... the Lord of the Temple!” Aiir civilians on the street recognized the origin of the armor.

Afterwards, one after another of exclamations seemed to be contagious, filling every corner of the streets and alleys.

There were originally millions of Ayres living in the temple, but after years of continuous consumption, only 70 remained, including nearly [-] temple guards.

Since Lin Ye became the master of the temple, all these 70 people followed him by default.

In addition, this race advocates faith and takes the temple as the center of power, so the system’s faith value soars instantly.

When Lin Ye appeared in front of everyone, a system prompt sounded in his ears quickly:

【Data updated successfully】

[Current faith value: 715745]

[Current bonus: [0.72]]

[Faith value affects the work efficiency of residents and affects the resource output of floating islands]

Although the output bonus is still very small, what Lin Ye cares about at the moment is not this, but the labor force.

Next he can build various factories, what is lacking is labor force and professional talents.

Especially the scientific research centers, medical centers and military centers that have been activated at present, all need people to maintain their operations.
