Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 59 Entering the Jongmyo

Chapter 59 Entering the Jongmyo
Under the leadership of Erwin, Lin Ye came to the highest point of the temple and entered this mysterious building called ”ancestral temple” by the Al people.

However, the internal situation was quite different from what he had imagined.

He originally thought that it would be full of tall statues of the so-called gods, and the interior would also be full of ancient decorations, which would look solemn and majestic at first glance.

But in fact, when he walked into the building along the outer entrance, he saw many closed rooms on both sides of the long corridor.

Through the transparent glass curtain wall, he found that various special instruments were placed in the huge room, and some weapons and equipment such as swords and shields and beam guns were also placed.

It looks a bit like Blue Star’s scientific research laboratory.

This place is said to be some kind of sacred ancestral temple, but it turns out to be a place for scientific research.

Do you want to prove that the end of science is metaphysics?

The Al people really have you!

In addition, Lin Ye also found many crack rock spiders that were imprisoned in the laboratory at the back.

Many Ayre people in white robes were surrounding them with instruments and potions, as if they were conducting some kind of experiment.

”What are they doing? Could it be to make the Zerg speak?” Lin Ye asked curiously.

”No, of course not...” Erwin pointed at the laboratory, pretending to be mysterious: ”They extract the gene sequences of Zerg creatures to develop weapons and equipment specially restrained from Zerg!”

Hearing this, Lin Ye immediately stopped and looked at the laboratories on both sides of the corridor in shock.

How is this the same as the coastline organization of the Republic of Seria.

Is it a coincidence, or something else hidden?

Lin Ye suppressed the doubts in his heart and asked without changing his expression: ”Do you know about the blue star in the solar system?”

”I’ve never heard of it, but if that’s the home planet that raised you, I believe it must be a rich planet!” Erwin flattered.

Lin Ye rolled his eyes at him. For Blue Star, the word rich can only be used as a past tense.

Before the doomsday, it was already full of filth. Even if the doomsday catastrophe does not come, human beings will kill themselves sooner or later.

After walking for nearly 10 minutes, the two walked through the empty long corridor and finally came to the core building of the Jongmyo Temple.

This is a main hall placed in a hemispherical space, with eaves and brackets similar to those of ancient Chinese architecture.

And among the two bronze-like main doors, there are engraved hymns written in the ancient Aiur script.

The general idea is to praise the gods who brought technology to Star Aiur, and also praise the Lords of the temples who have made great contributions to Star Aiur.

”After you enter it and accept the inheritance of the lord of the temple, you can activate the prohibition of the temple, completely remove the genetic locks of the Ayre people, and endow them with powerful abilities...”

While talking, Erwin suddenly became excited for some reason. He caressed the words engraved on the gate, his eyes gradually became fanatical.

Speaking of excitement, he seemed to have noticed his gaffe, so he paused for a moment in embarrassment, and continued after his emotions eased:
”Only in this way can we fight back from the Jedi, save the infected people, and drive all those ugly bugs out of Star of El!”

”Then what should I do?” Lin Ye asked indifferently.

Erwin chuckled: ”Blood, your blood is needed to activate the array!”

Lin Ye immediately took a few steps back when he heard the words, his eyes full of resistance:
”You mean what you say, is it possible that you want to squeeze me dry? I didn’t donate blood much when I was in Blue Star!”

Erwin took out the oracle crystal, put it in Lin Ye’s hands, and solemnly ordered:

”Don’t worry, we are not so rude, you just need to put this spar in the groove of the armrest, after that, someone will guide you.”

While speaking, Erwin pushed open the heavy door, and with the long sound of ”squeak”, the mysterious hall unfolded in front of their eyes.

Lin Ye poked his head into the ancestral temple, while Erwin stood quietly outside the gate with his hands behind his back.

He stopped at the same spot and asked doubtfully, ”Aren’t you coming in together?”

”Don’t worry, I’ll be waiting at the door. When you complete the inheritance, you can see me when you come out!” Erwin smiled and waved his hand, and then made a ”please” gesture.

Lin Ye glanced at the smiling elders of the temple, then turned his head to look at the pitch-black hall, his heart pounding:

This old guy won’t lie to me again, will he?
At this moment, the hall seemed to sense the presence of someone at the door, so a ray of light suddenly lit up inside, which happened to shine on the rune array in the center.

Lin Ye looked intently and saw dense patterns engraved on the talisman array. The ancient and mysterious symbols scattered among them lit up one by one as the light filled up.

In the center of the array stands a seat made of transparent crystal clusters. When all the surrounding symbols are lit up, the crystal clusters suddenly emit a strange energy magnetic field.

Lin Ye, who was attracted by this energy, although he was still observing the layout of the main hall carefully, did not know that he had already stepped into the ancestral temple.

When the door behind him closed with a dull sound, he came back to his senses and looked around in surprise.

He immediately bought a whole set of weapons and equipment from the system mall, and stood in the center of the hall fully armed.

However, after waiting for a while, nothing happened around him, and there were no traps or surprise attacks in his imagination.

Only the crystal seat in the center of the hall was emitting light regularly.

Lin Ye stepped forward slowly and approached the seat facing the halo.

This ray of light brings an inexplicable sense of familiarity, it seems to be the same as the ray of light experienced in the worm’s nest at that time, and it contains some kind of will.

But it is different from the previous one, the light is much softer in comparison, and it is not so overbearing and aggressive.

While observing, he noticed a hexagonal groove on the right armrest of the seat, which was just deep enough to place the Oracle Crystal.

Without wasting time, he directly placed the crystals into the groove.

Nothing unusual happened at first, but after a few seconds, he felt a slight vibration from under the ground.

Then the crystal seat suddenly emitted a strong light, illuminating the entire hall.

At this point, Lin Ye finally had a clear view of the details of the main hall. There was a large scroll painted on the wall, which seemed to be telling the story of the god’s visit to El Star.

On the twelve stone pillars standing around, various totems of ferocious beasts were engraved, but under the influence of light, they turned into dynamic images.

Just when he was surprised, the light on the crystal seat gradually shrank, and finally condensed into a somewhat illusory human shape.

He looked at Lin Ye with a trace of surprise in his expression, but nodded as if he was relieved.

”You finally found it?”
