Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 54 A Planet Full of Danger

Chapter 54 A Planet Full of Danger

Just passed through a mine and came to a different world?
Even though he had experienced something as outrageous as rebirth, Lin Ye still couldn’t believe the situation before him.

This is outrageous too!

To be fair, dramas like time travel and rebirth cannot happen at the same time!
Lin Ye stood there and calmed down for a moment. After calming down, he began to carefully analyze the current situation.

Reminiscent of the gravitational deflection that happened in the tunnel just now, the most reliable guess in his mind is that there may be some type of wormhole hidden in the mine, and he was inadvertently teleported to another corner of the universe.

Although the specific information of this planet is not yet known, the atmospheric environment here is somewhat similar to that of Blue Star, and the air is rich in oxygen.

It’s just that there is no blue sky here, and the gases and particles in the atmosphere make the scattered light slightly purple, which is in sharp contrast with the reddish-brown desert.

Because it is located in a desert area, the surrounding air humidity is extremely low, and the high temperature makes people feel hot and uncomfortable.

And I don’t know if it’s because the planet’s gravity coefficient is slightly lower, or because Lin Ye’s physical ability has been strengthened after the attribute increase.

He jumped twice on the spot, but he was able to jump to a height of half a meter.

In addition, Lin Ye also confirmed the most critical thing, that is, the system he currently owns can be used as usual!

But the strange thing is that the Floating Void City is not on this planet, and the main city interface can be opened without being affected in any way.

And if he concentrates on feeling, he can even feel the weak connection with the floating island.

This really made him puzzled, could it be possible to summon the floating island here?
While thinking about these questions, this completely unfamiliar place made Lin Ye feel unprecedentedly confused about his future plans.

Even though he has nearly 20 years of experience in doomsday survival, he still cannot overcome the fear of the unknown.

He didn’t dare to take risks on a strange planet. He lost reliable intelligence and the support of the floating island. Once something unexpected happened, the consequences would be disastrous.

Of course, he didn’t just sit still, but set off immediately, leaving the dangerous mine area first, and looking for shelter in the surrounding area.

Most of the mines are surrounded by cliffs, and the height of hundreds of meters makes people lose the desire to climb.

However, there is a group of reddish-brown stone pillars on the south side, and there is a path leading to the outside.

These stone pillars do not look like naturally formed landforms. Even though the surface looks pitted, because the shapes of all the stone pillars are so similar, it is very likely that they are buildings built by the Zerg for some special purpose.

There were still many Zerg warriors patrolling the mine, so Lin Ye groped forward cautiously.

When he approached the group of stone pillars, he discovered that the potholes on the surface were all holes leading to the inside, which looked like a columnar honeycomb from a close look!

From time to time, the sound of insect creatures walking could be heard on the stone pillars. Occasionally, some insects crawled out of the holes and climbed on the rock wall to breathe fresh air.

Fortunately, the surface was covered by a layer of wind and sand. If you don’t look closely, it is difficult to find Lin Ye’s figure, not to mention that he has been walking close to the rock wall of the stone pillar.

The area covered by the group of stone pillars is not large, and after walking more than ten kilometers, he came to the edge.

Through the wind and sand, he saw what seemed to be a plain in the distance.

However, after continuing to go out to the periphery, something unexpected happened to him.

In the plain, all of them are tall, conical black buildings.

That turned out to be hundreds of insect nests!
This can no longer be described as shock!

There was only one insect nest in the blue star in the previous life, but that has already brought a disaster-like army of insect swarms.

Today, there are so many seats on this unknown planet, which is enough to show how dangerous the situation here is!
Lin Ye, who was exhausted physically and mentally, fell to his knees on the ground, feeling an unprecedented sense of despair welling up in his heart.

Because the tactical gloves were damaged during the battle in the mine, the exposed skin accidentally touched the gravel on the ground, and a weak electric current swept through the whole body in an instant.

It was the same as what happened before, but this time the alarm was triggered with more serious consequences.

At the same time as the static electricity flowed through the body, a dense humming sound suddenly sounded from the surrounding dozen or so insect nests.

Dozens of gray-white stinging bees in armor rushed over from a distance with flashing blue wings.

Lin Ye has no way out, and this battle is probably inevitable!
But when he took out the sharp forelegs of the stinging bee from behind and was about to assume an attacking posture, his mouth was suddenly covered, and he was dragged into the hiding place behind the rock by a huge force.

Panicked, Lin Ye thought it was some high-level Zerg creature. He quickly struggled to get out of control, turned around and looked over, only to notice that there was a young girl standing behind him.

She was wearing red and scratched armor, and her long black hair fluttered in the wind and sand.

The girl’s appearance is very close to Blue Star’s Europa race, Mediterranean type.

There is also a tattoo engraved on the right cheek near the corner of the eye, which seems to be some kind of special symbol, which looks very secretive.

There were strange light spots in her dark brown eyes, but there was not much emotion in them, most of them were curiosity and guard.

Lin Ye was still carefully looking at the girl who suddenly appeared in front of him, but the other party had already put the sickle-shaped weapon in his hand on his neck.

The girl frowned and said something, but Lin Ye couldn’t understand it as a matter of course, so he could only call out the system with his mind to ask for help.

Although the system cannot actively recognize and translate unfamiliar languages, it can achieve the same effect by activating special skills [language proficiency] by spending survival points.

As in the previous situation, this system will always show the side of a black-hearted businessman when Lin Ye needs it most.

A broken skill actually cost him [-] survival points.

What is this concept?
However, when Lin Ye was hesitating, the weapon in the girl’s hand became a little tighter, and he was afraid that with a slight shake of his hand, he would die in a foreign land!

So he could only suppress the anger in his heart and activate this skill in the system.

[Skill: [Language Proficiency LV.1], successfully activated]

Accompanied by the cold system prompt, many complicated symbols suddenly appeared in Lin Ye’s mind.

At the same time, he could understand the girl’s words:
”Who are you? What are you doing in the restricted area?”

”Restricted area...but this is obviously a mine?” Lin Ye asked in surprise.

However, before he could get a response, two muscular men suddenly appeared behind the girl, and they grabbed his arms without any explanation.

Then he led him towards an unknown direction, and gradually disappeared in the reddish-brown dust flying all over the sky.
