Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 93 A More Far-reaching Plan

Chapter 93 A More Far-reaching Plan
Looking at the city in the distance, Lin Ye became more and more worried.

Judging from the conversations with the elites and the elders of the temple just now, the conflicts within the city cannot be resolved in a short time.

For decades, these two major forces have wanted to control the people below to satisfy their desire for power.

But the means of the two sides are different. The elite class controls the mind and body, and the temple elders control cognition and belief.

Under this double influence, the civilians of Aiur have almost become puppets isolated from the outside world.

And once these puppet people know the truth, an extremely serious disaster will usher in the temple.

The loose power will be reduced to ashes in the monstrous rage.

Lin Ye sighed and looked towards the scientific research center in the distance.

If these thorny problems are solved, then the next goal is to carry out scientific and technological research and development.

This is the plan he made when the floating island was still at the first level.

As the saying goes, science and technology are primary productive forces.

And in the doomsday cataclysm, what is terrifying is not only the alien creatures themselves, but also the powerful technology from these advanced civilizations.

The fleet of floating creatures like the Zerg has dealt heavy blows to the human army many times, but humans have no way to deal with them.

It was not until more than ten years after the end of the world that the human scientific research team developed the anti-gravity floating technology based on nuclear fusion.

However, this scientific achievement is still immature. Whether it is in terms of speed or battery life, it lags behind the Zerg by a large margin.

It’s like the wooden sailboats of the last century met the modern aircraft carrier fleet.

Moreover, the number of the fleet is also inferior to those Zerg biological battleships that are manufactured extremely fast, so they can only be passively beaten.

If it weren’t for the mechanical civilization and the old god civilization that appeared later, and the several major camps involved each other to suppress each other, otherwise human beings would have been destroyed long ago.

Relatively speaking, the technological level of the El civilization is much higher than that of humans.

After all, this race won the ”escape game” and got a chance to ascend.

The first thing I have to talk about is their floating technology. In addition to the floating building boat, Lin Ye still clearly remembers the scene of Elder Erwin taking the floating aircraft for the first time.

If this technology can be applied to the human army, then the combat power of the human camp will be improved by multiple levels.

Moreover, the charged weapons they developed based on particle radiation attacks are many grades more powerful than the current thermal weapons of human beings.

In the early days of the doomsday, Zerg, zombies and humans had many large-scale wars on Blue Star.

If humans at that time could have weapons of this level, the battle situation would not be completely crushed, but at least it would be a [-]-[-] situation.

However, the only downside is that the weapons of the Ayres are too primitive.

Beam gun, light energy cannon, light blade...

In this regard, the weapons of the human camp are much more fancy.

Therefore, Lin Ye wanted to gather researchers from both human and Aiur people to integrate the technologies of the two camps together to maximize their value.

At present, there are more than a hundred scientific researchers in the temple, but several authoritative experts and scholars were captured by the rebel army, and now unfortunately died in the insect nest.

This is a great loss to Al Civilization and Lin Ye.

He originally wanted to develop special biochemical equipment to deal with swarms and zombies, but now it seems that it may be postponed.

However, Lin Ye still has a doubt about these temple researchers.

Those in the Blue Star Middle East also developed special biological and chemical weapons.

Is this a coincidence, or is there a deeper reason?
When he returns to Blue Star again, Lin Ye needs to investigate carefully.

Once the scientific research center is fully operational, in addition to enriching the combat readiness of the temple, he also plans to establish a chamber of commerce.

Sell high-tech weapons to other countries and exchange a lot of resources.

Although after the Blue Star cataclysm, Huaguo has already occupied the most productive alien vein.

But the real purpose of this move is to suppress the technological level of other countries and make them dependent on these advanced weapons and equipment.

In the previous life, although humans established a federal republic, some countries still harbor evil intentions and continue to engage in internal struggles.

Lin Ye wanted Hua Guo to have absolute dominance in the Human Federation.

Just as he was thinking about the follow-up plan, there was a knock on the office door.

He left the balcony and hurried to the office to open the door, only to find that the person standing outside was Rita.

”How did you find this place?” Lin Ye invited her in.

There is nothing to drink in this place. He originally wanted to buy some drinks in the mall, but found that after the upgrade, the survival points had already returned to zero.

Now there is another headache, the survival point also needs to find a place to get it.

Because the building facilities in the temple, that is, the original floating island, have not yet been upgraded or repaired, dragging them on is not an option.

Seeing Lin Ye standing there stunned and not knowing what he was doing, Rita sat on the sofa nearby and said doubtfully:
”What happened?”

Lin Ye came back to his senses, shook his head and laughed, ”It’s okay...”

”Still thinking about the question just now?” Rita frowned.

Leaning halfway on the sofa cushions, she sighed softly: ”Those people are used to being arrogant and domineering on weekdays, and they don’t listen to other people’s suggestions at all. You don’t have to get used to them now, just do what you want. After all, you are the new saint now.” Lord of the Temple!”

As she spoke, Rita’s tone sank:
”They’d better pray that there are no suitable leaders in the temple, otherwise, driving them out of their positions is just a matter of words!”

Lin Ye sat opposite Rita, leaning on the sofa with folded hands:
”I would like to do this, but what about driving them out? The forces cultivated for so many years are still there, and there are so many dogs and horses under him. If we don’t cut the grass and roots, there will be endless troubles, but if we really want to drive them all out, then the same is true. Great damage to the Temple.”

As soon as these words came out, Rita fell silent.

She has always been used to killing, just killing and not burying, how could she think of such things.

After a moment of silence, Lin Ye raised his head and asked again: ”What about you, and what is the attitude of the temple guards?”

Rita straightened up, took a deep look at him, and her expression suddenly became serious:

”Before the Lord of the Temple was elected, we followed the call of the Elders. However, now that you have appeared, of course the nearly [-] Temple Guards will be at your disposal!
And even though I will be the chief elder of the temple in the future, I will firmly support you! ”

”That’s enough!” Lin Ye smiled lightly, took a deep breath, got up and walked out the door.

”Let’s go and meet them again!”
