Chapter 83 The Origin of the Lord of the Temple

Chapter 83 The Origin of the Lord of the Temple

Lin Ye couldn’t believe what Rita said.

He turned his gaze to the stone statue beside him and observed it carefully.

Although the stone statue looks a bit dilapidated, it does not affect its delicate outline.

After careful identification, Lin Ye found that although the Lord of the Temple was not an Ayer.

But the overall appearance is not much different from that of the Ayres, or even humans.

However, it might just be some kind of coincidence that the same red blood flows.

Because judging from the inherited memory, the first Lord of the Temple appeared 6 years ago, but at that time humans had not even entered the Neolithic Age.

Lin Ye suddenly thought of what Xiao had said. Blue Star had previously owned two era civilizations.

An idea popped into his mind, of course, just a bold idea.

If, as he thought, it was an ancient civilization era from Blue Star that descended on Planet Aiur, then that ancient civilization was quite powerful.

This is a star field more than 500 light-years away from the blue star. No matter what method they use to get here, it means that they have absolutely top-notch technology.

So, what kind of ancient civilization relics are hidden on the inner continent of Blue Star?Lin Ye began to have some interest in this.

While he was observing the stone statue, Rita patiently explained:

”According to the records of the temple, tens of thousands of years ago, the first master of the temple came to our star Al.

He brought faith and guided us on the path of evolution.

Al civilization also began to grow and expand explosively.

We have conquered all the land and the vast ocean, and even the sky is covered with fiery red fleets.

In the process, this god also taught a lot of technology, including the method of traveling through subspace.

The temple where we are currently hiding from the Zerg attacks is also a fortress built by him himself.

But after a thousand years, the god suddenly disappeared from people’s sight. ”

”Where did he go?” Lin Ye was puzzled.

”When this god disappeared, there was no sign.” Rita shook her head and continued:

”There were very few written and video records handed down at that time, so we Aiers don’t know whether he died or went to other places.

But later, in order to commemorate this god, we built ancestral temple statues in various places and established a power system headed by the temple. ”

Lin Ye looked at the ruler and compass in the hands of the stone statue, and felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity in his heart.

He seems to have seen these two things somewhere.

”Then, didn’t this god say where he came from?” he asked.

Rita knocked on the base of the stone statue, and said helplessly:

”There are no relevant deeds recorded in the existing documents. Even if there are, they are all speculations of future generations and cannot be used as evidence.”

During the conversation, the Templar soldiers behind them found the entrance to other areas of the main hall.

Rita came to the entrance, opened the hidden revolving door on the wall, and led everyone to the second underground floor.

There are also many messy items inside, most of which are sacrificial utensils.

Although it is a bit messy, fortunately the space is not very big, so it is not difficult to find it.

Led by Rita, it didn’t take long for them to find the teleportation device.

”That’s it? Can it still be used after so long?” Lin Ye looked at the dusty device, a little worried.

Rita directed the temple soldiers to clean up the debris, and at the same time explained to Lin Ye: ”As long as the transmission array is complete, it will be fine. After the array is activated, the energy from the temple will naturally be transmitted!”

But when everyone cleared away the debris accumulated on it, they unexpectedly discovered that the energy array of the transmission device, that is, the symbols engraved on the ground, were disrupted and could not be activated for a while.

”Next, it’s up to you!”

Rita cast her eyes on Lin Ye. Among the hundreds of people here, only he can arrange the symbols neatly.

Lin Ye squatted silently on the ground, cleaning up the dust on the surface of the transmission device.

According to the memory of the Lord of Inheritance, he turned the roulette of the energy array and aligned the symbols in a specific order.

When the last symbol lit up, a majestic energy flow surged in the entire hall in an instant.

The lines on the talisman array were fully charged one by one, and the purple-blue vortex covered the transmission device.

Everything was ready, Rita glanced at everyone, and immediately jumped in first.

It’s not the same as everyone thinks.

The other end of the portal unexpectedly appeared in the midair of the temple.

Everyone has no flying tools, and after leaving the portal, they will fall directly from the sky.

Rita was a little flustered, she turned her head to look at the portal in the air, and wanted to do something, but it was too late.

The remaining more than 100 people all flew out of the portal, falling from the sky like dumplings.

Although all the people on the floating island are from the military, Major Sim and others often experience the feeling of free fall. Cheng Bei and Nan Xiao have also used hang gliding suits in the field army.

But, no matter what, it was all under the premise of equipment guarantee.

But now there is not even a parachute, how can this be done!
Just as everyone was crying and howling, several building boats flew over from a distance and took them all down steadily.

Lin Ye and others were lying on the deck to calm down. Other temple warriors were also leaning against the bulwarks, their legs swinging.

The Temple Guards who came to respond were about to call more ships to come over for support, but were stopped by Rita with a wave of her hand.

”Captain Rita, what should we do with so many people accompanying us?” Several guards were puzzled.

Rita looked solemn, hesitated for a long time and did not speak.

Lin Ye saw her and understood her feelings.

But if you don’t take the initiative to speak up and let the remaining soldiers guess by themselves, it will have a bad influence.

So he stood up from the deck and said in a deep voice:
”They can’t come back, neither Elder Erwin nor the temple’s scientific researchers have been rescued!
Those on board are already all survivors! ”

Lin Ye said it very bluntly, after all, now is not the time to consider the atmosphere and feelings.

The house is almost gone, so why would I want to do this!

”Understood!” The guard nodded emphatically, and then turned the boat around, preparing to park in the central square.

This attitude was somewhat beyond Lin Ye’s expectation.

He also thought that these guards would not understand what happened in the worm’s nest.

But now it seems that these soldiers have long known that this trip is dangerous.

I’m afraid I’m lucky to come back alive.

Lin Ye sighed, then patted the guard on the shoulder, and pointed to the tall building:

”Go there, the residence of Elder Erwin!”

He needs to go to Erwin’s place to confirm some things.

He still had the blood-stained robe in his backpack, which contained a token.
