Global Cataclysm: Start building a floating island

Chapter 70 The Secret Behind the Cataclysm

Chapter 70 The Secret Behind the Cataclysm

”The extraterrestrial star that appeared through the interstellar portal fused with the blue star, causing the blue star to expand rapidly. You must have seen all of this.

However, the continents appearing in the lower layers, could it be that they were simply formed by the collision of extraterrestrial bodies?
In fact, these continents already existed long ago, and it was only by some kind of coincidence that they were able to reappear! ”

Xiao walked up behind Lin Ye, and put his hands on his shoulders like an old close friend.

Lin Ye wanted to break free, but the silicon-based creature was too powerful, so he could only stand obediently and listen to the other party finish speaking.

Xiao clung to his ear, lowered his voice and said slowly:

”It is very likely that what remains on the blue star is a certain [gift] of the Creator.”

Upon hearing this, Lin Ye immediately turned his head and looked into the other person’s gray-white eyes in surprise.

Xiao patted Afraid on his shoulder, beckoning him not to worry, and then continued to explain:
”However, we have checked a lot of information, and there is no relevant record about a civilization from Blue Star winning the escape game.

However, there is indeed some kind of powerful energy source in the earth’s core, and the fact that the five camps can appear on the blue star at the same time can also explain this.

After all, the Creator never makes mistakes! ”

If anything, what Xiao said before made Lin Ye doubtful.

Then what it said now completely subverted his cognition as a human being.

Whether it is the moment when the doomsday catastrophe occurs, or in the ten years after that.

It is a question that all human researchers do not understand very well.

Why does a small blue star located on the edge of the Milky Way attract so many alien creatures.

For human civilization?

No matter how you think about this assumption, it doesn’t hold water!
Because except for the zombie camp that relies on numbers and strong bodies to gain an advantage.

The remaining camps all have technologies that surpass human civilization.

High-energy particle weapons, AT force fields, anti-gravity devices, teleportation devices, etc., are all advanced technologies beyond the reach of human beings.

Therefore, these camps spend time studying the history of human development, it is better to focus on weapon research and development.

Combining various factors, the scholars and experts of the Human Federation unanimously concluded that the reason for alien creatures attacking Blue Star is the rich resources.

Although human beings have ruined Blue Star to such an extent, the fact is true.

In the 20 years after the catastrophe, a large area of land was occupied by alien creatures, and all kinds of material resources were plundered.

Therefore, in order to develop their own strength, the technology developed by human beings is not only used to fight against alien creatures, but also to occupy more space resources in order to rush out of the blue star.

But no one could have imagined that the source of the catastrophe was hidden inside Blue Star.

Previously, due to the pollution of the ocean by special radiation, the inverted gravity environment made it impossible for ordinary protective equipment and aircraft to enter.

Therefore, there are not many plans to explore the inner continent across the ocean, or even none.

No one has seen what the inner continent looks like. Even if a probe passes through the ocean, it loses its signal directly.

The subsequent floating battleships developed by imitating the alien technology were also put into the battlefield.

Resources are limited, and no one at the top will agree to use warships for scientific research without results.

While thinking, Xiao let go of his hands, stood in front of Lin Ye, and said with regret:

”Unfortunately, your human race is too young.

In addition, after two epochs of civilization, the remaining effective resources in the final blue star are really pitifully small.

So this catastrophe is indeed too cruel for you!
However, that’s fine too.

At least, the wealth left over from the ancient civilizations has enough reasons to be handed over to other powerful races.

Like us! ”

Lin Ye smiled contemptuously: ”Heh, you already know these things?”

”Of course not!” Xiao Xiao waved his hand in denial.

”The cataclysm began, and our silicon-based organisms infiltrated into various parts of Blue Star, looking for the blood that can open the remains of ancient civilizations.

But I didn’t expect that 25 years later, the Human Federation was completely destroyed, and the bloodline was not found. ”

”What?” Lin Ye caught some important information from the words.

25 years!

In other words, five years after his death, the Human Federation was destroyed like this?
That battle across the star field damaged a combined fleet of hundreds of thousands of troops.

But the Human Federation has a total of five such combined fleets. Not counting the new recruits dispatched to fill the vacancies, even if one fleet is lost, there are still four fleets remaining. How could the Human Federation be destroyed in five years?

”The old god civilization rushed ahead of us, entered the inner continent first, opened the ruins of ancient civilization, and activated a powerful force.

Since then, it has sprung up in Blue Star, and in just five years, it has swept away all major camps, including you humans! ”

Xiao saw his doubts, so he told all the causes and consequences:

”However, I don’t know what happened after that. Presumably, the old god civilization won the game.

When I wake up, I have returned to 45 years ago, reborn earlier than you and returned to the time before the catastrophe! ”

Lin Ye was dumbfounded.

If it hadn’t been for this rebirth, he wouldn’t have known that such a deep secret was hidden behind the catastrophe.

After thinking for a moment, he looked at the owl not far away:

”You tell me all these things, are you afraid that I will go back alive and lead mankind to open the ruins of ancient civilization?”

”I suggest you consider your own situation first!”

While speaking, Xiao looked at the high-ranking Zerg on the high platform and winked at Lin Ye:
”We all know about the Creator’s gift. If you are willing to cooperate with us, I will share more information with you!”

”You want to win over the human camp?” Lin Ye was curious.

”No, I only want you!” Xiao Xiao replied firmly.

”It’s useless to keep the remaining human beings. Instead of wasting resources, it’s better to turn into fresh blood and join the zombie camp.

70 billion, no, there are 50 billion left after the catastrophe.

It is not a bad choice to transform 50 billion humans into an army of zombies.

Blue Star or something, we silicon-based organisms can help you take care of it. ”

After explaining everything clearly, Xiao returned to the high platform with his hands behind his hands, and said a few words in the ear of the Queen of Worms.

After getting an affirmative answer from the other party, he waved to the surrounding Zerg warriors:
”Catch this human being and send him to the altar!”

Before the words fell, the Zerg warriors crowded around rushed forward, baring their teeth and claws.

Although Lin Ye was dizzy from the huge amount of information at the moment, he would not just let it be slaughtered like this.

He opened the system mall, bought a BLU-82 ”rolling ball” decisively, and set off to break through the siege of Zerg creatures at the same time.

Along with the illusory light and shadow, a vacuum bomb weighing nearly seven tons and as short and thick as a large iron barrel fell behind Lin Ye, directly pressing several Zerg warriors to the ground.

Not only that, he also dropped a bunch of high-energy explosives by the way, preparing to detonate it forcibly after a few seconds of countdown.

Everything happened in just a few seconds, but in this short period of time, there was a violent vibration from the ground.

A titan worm burst out of the ground, it opened its bloody mouth wide, and suffocated the vacuum bomb and the high-energy explosive without hesitation.

Afterwards, muffled noises came from the body of the titan worm, and the whole body even swelled greatly, and a large amount of white smoke rose from the surface of the body.

It was the high temperature generated by the explosion that evaporated all the mucus on its body surface.

After persisting for more than ten seconds, it opened its mouth and let out a wail, then hit the ground heavily, completely losing its vitality.
